That being said, the last 8-10 or so years have been the exception because that's when I got into watching let's plays. It's crazy what games slip past out notice when they haven't entered the paradigm.

Seeing Lea from CrossCode made me so happy! An underrated gem of a game, I recommend it to everyone. It has a great story, great platforming, great combat, and great puzzles. Just a super rich game, and Lea is a wonderful character that starts off seeming simple and basic and grows with such depth
