sleeping beautys fashion awakening was actually just the theme of the party and presentation inside the met, the theme for the guests and dress code was ''the garden of time'', by JG Ballard, its a neat story about a couple whos about to be attacked and killed but in their garden theres these crystal flowers that when they pluck one time goes back so they can stay together a bit more, until the end when theres no more flowers to pluck. its an allegory for the inevitable end of death and living for love.
and for those who dont know what sleeping beautys are, its those old OLD OLD OLD really old pieces of historic clothing which cant be worn again, its just on a display and are very fragile and can crumble into dust or whatever cause its super old

One of my favorite videos of Sean of all time so far. Thanks for the lighthearted and good humored shared laughs
Please do more stuff like this and/or make this an annual thing and/or give us a part two because it was fantastic
We NEED a part two sean PLEASE
Hunger game outfits
You are my favorite RUclipsr! You always have been and I’ve been working in fashion for many years to see you upload. This kind of video is absolutely fantastic.
“it looks like you’re going door to door selling strawberries” made me chuckle 😄
I’m actually so glad to see content like this from you, just posting whatever YOU want and going with what interests you atm ✌️ keep being you Spedicey ❤
Good to see sean try doing some different stuff. It's always a pleasure to hear him ♥️
Jakiboo does Again!!! Woot
I love these types of videos! Glad to see you’re doing it too!
The person in the background at 9:19 is Harris Reed an amazing new designer from the london fashion scene, graduated from central saint martins. Focuses on androgyny and the beauty of structured shapes and body shaping cuts.
That line about the wearing pages from a book sounds like something that's already happened. 🤣
Stray kids and demi lovato is a perfect fashion show
Your critiques are more thoughtful and better put together than most of the videos like this that I've seen. Please keep doing these.
16:37 "You look like you belong in Hades" Gustav Magnar Witzøe is "a Norwegian billionaire and significant shareholder of salmon fish farming company SalMar ASA" (so I guess he'd just take Poseidon's place).
20:31 "I would wear armor" Swen Vincke (the CEO of Larian) might be able to give you some pointers about that 🛡
this was so good! I wanna see you review the rest of them! I love the fresh, earnest, wide-eyed fascination you're bringing
Part 2 please! This was the silliest roast I've ever watched!
I love this, I really hope you do more fashion reviews!
OMG Sean I loved this! You are so good at this! I could definitely watch another video with the rest of them.
Last one is what your Bloodborne character would look if there was a Pimp class 😂😂😂
PLEASE do more like this! This was such an entertaining video to watch!
extremely funny to me that i knew nothing about this channel until it popped up on my feed with this video today - love it xx
wow an ALT UPHLHOADH!
This is the content we all needed today.
We're gonna need a part 2 of this!
This is so refreshing Jack! I enjoyed it a ton
Hey Jack! I love the video but I thought you should know that the name of the art exhibition is Sleeping Beauties but the dress code was actually based off of the sci-fi short story The Garden of Time by JG Ballard. The story is only 6 pages long so I definitely recommend checking it out! If you prefer to listen to it, Michael Hanson does an amazing reading of it for free on RUclips!
ALL EYES OF RAFAH
ALL EYES ON RAFAH
I did never expect this kind of video here, nor I expected that it will be so entertaining :D well done!
this is the first video ive ever really watched of u and I loved it
my favorite is stray kids, not because they're the best but because they're awesome 😂
Didn't know I needed Jack to review Met gala outfits before now 😂 That was great!
This was so relaxing and funny for me 😂 i'd love to see more fashion reviews from sean, especially when it becomes a category of from software bosses lol
this feels personal and i love it!!
I love the opinions people want the met gala looks to be normal but there suppose to be crazy
PLEASE DO PART TWO!!! ❤❤❤
This was so fun to watch! You need to do this next year too Jack!
sleeping beautys fashion awakening was actually just the theme of the party and presentation inside the met, the theme for the guests and dress code was ''the garden of time'', by JG Ballard, its a neat story about a couple whos about to be attacked and killed but in their garden theres these crystal flowers that when they pluck one time goes back so they can stay together a bit more, until the end when theres no more flowers to pluck. its an allegory for the inevitable end of death and living for love.
and for those who dont know what sleeping beautys are, its those old OLD OLD OLD really old pieces of historic clothing which cant be worn again, its just on a display and are very fragile and can crumble into dust or whatever cause its super old
Met Gala in the midst of a genocide is so hunger games level of dystopian
Let's be honest brother, most Galas and Balls in human history happened while people were dying en masse
MET Gala happens every year and so does the Grammys, the Oscars, the Streamers Awards, movie premieres, or any red carpets in general. Idk why but I see ppl compares specifically the MET to the Hunger Games because every Hunger Games thing that MET does, it other events does it too.
@@spongemanicecone2736and also let's not pretent like we wouldn't go there if we have the chance and even if don't go there, we will brag about it like clueless peasants.
@@adam.n-steveI won’t even go to things I want to because of my anxiety. Why do you possibly think everyone would take the chance just because you would??
