That was a real Fred move on that guys part getting along side that truck. Thats the kind of behavior that not only can get yourself killed but gives us riders a bad name. The shoulder on Lemmon has no grip and should not be ridden on the downhill side. Hes lucky to have kept it upright. Another fun Video Jon, keep it up!

Cool story (no pun intended) on your previous year’s climb unprepared for the freezing temps. Had a similar experience near Black Mountain, NC one sunny Spring morning (totally unprepared for freezing temps in the mountains).

Hey Jon, do you recommend the Bontrager Wavecel XXX helmet or would the Circuit Wavecel be just fine? I noticed that while the XXX is more aero, it's quite a bit heavier than the circuit. Do you feel any difference and which one would you recommend? Thanks

The wavecell feels safer, but I like the lighter helmets like the circuit better, because its easier to put your sunglasses on them is one main reason.

Great video and a great story you wrapping yourself in toilet paper and then the plastic bags. When I used to live in China, my cycling buddy did something similar. He bought up all the minimarts sanitary pad supply and wallpapered himself with it, trying to cheat the cold winds. I sent you an email the other day on your 123 gmail. Take good care buddy.
