@@Jo-li5ht very little odor, it has zero VOC's so no need for a mask when you're pouring it out
@@Jo-li5ht yes! you'll just need to abrade it and we pour level quick over that. here's a video on it - ruclips.net/video/WJXfqzH3JwU/видео.html
Hello
I want to know if the ultimate top coat flooring 100% UV stable
Is there a dealer in Jamaica that sells the raw materials.
Simple and straight to the point great video, I’ve been wanting to get involved with this on my free time as little side hustle
For anyone wanting to start or expand a service company, this looks like a great start
This is the most simple diy epoxy floor tutorial. Well explained. Thanks
It’s beautiful, I’m lucky because my husband already knows how to do this. He’s done flooring and countertops and even a pool once. It’s very striking when it’s done and all dried. Nice job!!😊
He did a pool??? How did he keep it on the side's without sliding?
Hey please can we have a conversation
I just won't to know the items name they use 🥺 the epoxy items
why u watching this video?
2-3 hours After applying the sealer coat white patches started to appear how to fix this ?
good for you .send him to my house
would never have thought that would have turned out so nice. what a masterpiece.
Hey thanks, I'll take it! Would you attempt a project like this?!
@@StoneCoatCountertops yeah, i'd love to do several things you do on your videos, just can't right now. love you and your teams work.
Wonderful Explanatory Presentation
Wow!! What a difference!!
Beautiful job! I did my basement floor yesterday.
Do you think someone who has never done them before can make it look good? lol
@@annlathamit’s possible. Probably not this good. 🙂
@@annlatham Yes! It’s definitely worth a try.
Thank you, I appreciate it. Now I can accept the job that I was scared to do.
Great video. Question for ya… I want to do a metallic on my garage floor. I don’t have saw cut control joints. Instead I have the wider tooled joints. I’d rather have a seamless metallic floor so I am looking for a product that I can use to completely fill/over fill my tooled joints and then grind flat with the concrete. @00:38 you are using your “floor patch epoxy gel” to fill that rather wide crack. I’m curious if that would be a good product I could use to fill my tooled control joints? I love your guys stuff. Thanks so very much.
Very nice! thank you!
PRO TIP! cut a shotgun hole in your epoxy jugs when youre pouring for mixing so you dont have to squeeze it out! love the vids thanks for the tips and content!
CAN YOU TEACH ME MORE IN DEPTH???
requires several stages but the result is very good 👍👍
Thanks for stopping by! Would you try out a project like this?
What grit sandpaper do I use for each coat ?
Thank you ❤
Looks awsome
Thanks so much for this tutorial! I have a question. I have a room that is half tile, half cheap vinyl. I want to get rid of the vinyl and put epoxy in its place, but there are no walls or borders between the tile and where I want the epoxy to be. Is there a way to create a form like we'd do when pouring concrete countertops, to create a border that the epoxy won't go past?
What grit sandpaper did you use before topcoat?
I like it. i have a linoleum kitchen floor and wonder if it would work on that
Gracias
Thanks
You're welcome Thomas! Thanks for stopping by as always!
Hey Mitch, do you have to use the isopropyl alcohol for the bubbles or can you just use the torch instead? Is the alcohol what ends up leaving those small black dots/marks?
Looks amazing!! Is it slippery?
Does this color mixture come in a kit? I want to do this in my kitchen.
What's up folks! Let me know if you have any questions!
Hey man! Love your work bro. Well I want a gallaxy looking color but I cannot decide on the right colors to mix. What would you suggest?
Can I do this over laminate flooring pls ? The flooring has been here for a year in very good condition but can’t find any videos of someone doing the same 😢
What Grit sandpaper do I need for each level of the project
Which exact colors did you use? I want to do this exact floor
This is a nice video
Hello can this be done on concrete counter top?
Can this be done on a mixed substrate floor? I don't have a concrete floor; it's in a mobile home where part is tiled and part is plywood (call it a subfloor but finished with a temporary clearcoat). Can I use a levelling compound and pour on the exisitng floor (I understand prep you mentioned for tiled areas)? Does this epoxy flex after drying?
I'm really interested!
Hey Mitch! Can you answer this above? I'm interested in the same questions above for the same reasons. @stonecoatcountertops
I would like to know also if this can be used on other substrates besides concrete
I've been getting into abstract art and my uncle reccomend your channel. I would love to do something like this! What would be the approximate material costs for a 450ish square foot room?
He said 3$ a square foot
1350$
Zabardast ❤❤
Do we need to apply primer first or its just an option?
Can this be done over OSB?
Can I cover a Plyboard floor with Epoxy?
How thick is the metallic epoxy?
My floor is powered concrete. I painted it years ago to keep dust down but now it’s beyond paint.
What do I use?
Can you do an outdoor dance floor with that over plywood
Is epoxy coating is a resistant to sunlight????
Curious if this has been applied over vinyl asbestos tile for sealing purposes, rather than abatement? Anyone else try this out? Thanks!!
Hoping you get an answer to your question. I have remnants of aspestos tile on old wood floors. Thinking this would be a good way to seal the asbestos and have a nice floor. Concerned about the weight of the epoxy and the sealant though as it will be on the second floor and the house is old. @Stonecoatcountertops, please answer! A tutorial would be great too~
Is it possible to give this a tiled look? Thinking of doing a marble tile look for bathroom or kitchen floors.
It would be difficult to put grout lines in the epoxy flooring. It's usually a seamless designer look without the grout lines.
The best and easy way to do that, is just using tiles instead.
Xoxo
Find a square stamp or stencil that looks like a tile, and maybe paint the “tile look” right on before the top epoxy coat?
2-3 hours After applying the sealer coat white patches started to appear how to fix this ?
3$ per square foot is the cost of everything or just the epoxy needed?
I tried it but my floor ended up full of holes what do i do now
Any one no how much epoxy i would need for a 8ft by 4ft please.?
Is this system long and lasting of we have to do the process every year
This could last for years and years. I've seen a hair shop in town that has this done and their floor still looks steller after a decade of extremely heavy foot traffic and daily chemical exposure.
I have no question at this time. Im much interested, as a beginner, I want to know the materials needed.
Can you give product info?
Where can I get the raw materials.
So, do I have to sand down the floor if the concrete floors are painted?
Yes, you want a good foundation for a good bond. Grind open the 1st layer of concrete then clean the dust. The grinder should remove the paint too.
@@StoneCoatCountertops Thanks for replying! I really liked your videos. I'd love to get some of your products, but my basement floor had some of the old adhesive on it when it was painted and I'm not sure if that would come up with sanding. I just don't want to waste my time or money.
Can you apply this over tile? I have 1960s tile
Hi, thanks for checking in! You can go over tile with a few prep steps.
1. rough up the tiles with a 7 or 4 in diamond cup wheel. You can get a dust shroud to eliminate dust in the air.
2. Apply a polymer bonding primer designed for the Level Quick and apply it to the tile and let dry get these products at a hardware store.
3. Mix up and apply the level quick to eliminate the grout, let dry overnight
4 . Apply the moisture seal epoxy primer over the level quick, nice and thin. 1oz. per square foot of floor to cover, apply with a floor squeegee
5. Apply the metallic or dye tinted epoxy flooring midcoat with colors you desire.
6. Apply the Ultimate topcoat in the sheen of your choice.
Let me know if you have any questions, I'd love to help get a project started with you
@StoneCoatCountertops what about plywood subfloor
@@StoneCoatCountertopsyou are such a nice human being wow I thank you for answering the questions so detailed as it useful for us too 🙏🏽🙌🏽😊
Can this process be done on sidewalks and driveways?
Yes
How do you clean out oil stains
You can use a concrete oil stain cleaner from your local hardware store or Amazon. It's a liquid paste product that pulls the stain up to the surface before you start to grind the floor.
You saying sand but what grade?
Hopefully you will respond. My floor is saltillo and uneven?

Great job! I want to do it ! But I’m a Coward 😢
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I can give about 1 million reasons why having the guard on that grinder is crucial.

too nice to walk on
WoW ♥️♥️♥️ (I.T.)
Thanks for stopping by! Do you have a floor to fix up this DIY season?
Can you use this in a shower floor?
if you want to slip and die
just a joke 🙏
Can you be hired?
should really use a Hepa filter mask when grinding/ cutting concrete, Silica is no joke 😷😷
Dude died of silicosis a week later.
What are you saying it's not safe the product
@margaretdetraz3525 LOL no it's not.... high VOCs it can cause brain damage without a respirator. Originally, I was pointing out prepping the concrete in a small space without any sort of protection.
No me gusto xq no muestras los productos k usas 👎
$3 per sqft? Meaning it would cost $15k to do my 5,000 sqft shop myself? That’s ridiculous.
Agree, it can't be that expensive. Tiles would be way cheaper in that world
But if you bought all the tools you could definitely do it yourself
I don't like the color. It looks old and dirty, Black and white would be nice.
