Didn't know most things. I especially enjoyed the part about Godox AD-B2. I think this accessory makes it more affordable to increase light power without upgrading to the more expensive AD400.

My ad200 bulb head is broken when i was using it with softbox, i read somewhere there is a design problem and many peoole had the same problem. It s not the bulb but bulb head. Do you know if they fix this issue with ad200pro?
Basicaly when you are mounting on softbox the lock system, that you tighten can break the electric board in the bulb head.

You will need a remote trigger by Godox/Flashpoint or the V1

how can you trigger the flash on an ec200 if it is mounted directly on top of a camera?
Why would you use the extension cable for a hot shoe if you can control the flash without a trigger? Do they sell the extensions for the specific camera bodies

HI! thx for the info! Can you tell me how I use my 600bm and the ad 200pro together yet set my 200 pro at a different power level than my 600?
Assign them to different channels. Use the remote to set the power level separately for each channel.
Godox ad200 is a goto light for the photoshoots on my channel! It packs a lot of power and is lightweight. Nice video.

Do they yet have a flash trigger/controller that will provide high speed flash with the ad200 that will work with Pentax cameras,like the k-3?
The XPro-P (for Pentax) supports HSS for the Pentax K-3. According to the pentaxforums.com users have tested the XPro-P and confirm that TTL/HSS work with the K3, K20D, K10D, K7, K5, K5 II, and MZ-S.
Hi, Do I need to dump the flash when changing the power setting on my AD200 Pro. I am finding the output in manual mode changes value after changing the power level
Hi MIke, yes most strobes/flashes need to be dumped manually unless they have an auto-dump function. When settings are changed on a flash, the capacitors will generally still have the charge from the previous setting. Pressing the test fire button will allow the flash to be discharged and recharged with the new setting.
Anyone have any thoughts on why all the lights on my battery charger are blinking when charging the battery? I hope it still works?

Question - I have the extension head and I saw that you showed that it would mount to the top of your camera. That's a great idea but then when I replicated this I realized that there is no way to 'trigger' the AD200 since my trigger is usually mounted on my 5DM3. Let me know if I missed an important step in this. Thanks!
Edit - I have a flashpoint trigger that has the hot shoe on top of it so I guess that would suffice. But, I'm still anxious to hear how you are able to trigger the AD200 while directly connected to the camera's hot shoe. Thanks again.
Hey there!
The hot shoe on the EC200 Extension head is just a metal plate with a 1/4" thread in the centre and no pins, this is purely used for mounting purposes, to fire the flash you will need a trigger.
But to their point, you need the triggers with the hot shoe. The X-Pro won't work.
Which would you say is better? The 200 or 200pro? I am trying to make the decision to get one. Thanks!
I'd say if you don't mind spending that extra $50 AUD or so the AD200Pro is worthwile.
How big softbox and octabox size suitable for ad200?
Anything over 80cm / 31.5inches will work
The extension head is a cold shoe, not hot. Flash won't fire except wirelessly, therefore a Godox transmitter is required for it to work in this configuration.
What brand / model of stand is in this video?
We use the Spectrum 43cm light stands on the table top.

Depends on your subject but try one with a fast recycle time such as the AD300Pro, AD400Pro and AD600Pro.
