Just realized at 1:17 AM that all the Aftons and Emilys are going to be alive in this game, since it takes place in 1979. That includes William. He really does always come back.
If this is true then this was probably during the time before the bite which is obvious but this could indicate that William began his whole plan even before the storyline first begun. This could Legitimately be life changing for the fandom and could change everything we thought and knew about the Fnaf lore

This teaser is actually so good I'm not even lying: The use of the puppet's music box music with the consistent rattling of it being wound up really adds to the tension, especially when the box actually opens up, not to mention the detail of the floor being reminiscent of 70's patterns and the recorder showing the year 1979. I can't wait for the game release and what's gonna be in store!
I think this is a very smart move, before moving forward with the franchise, take a step back and explain the Mimic more, which will help set it up as the new antagonist of the franchise, and prhaps persuade people who were skeptical about it. Very smart move Steelwool, I am very excited.

I agree. I was worried that the mimic would only be explained in the books which takes away from what made Afton such a good villain. With Afton you didn’t need the books to understand who he is. Now sure the books explained minor things like how he was one of the founders of fazbear entertainment but the games explore the major things like his family, his sick twisted crimes, and of course his immortality. With the mimic he’s a bit more of a mystery and thankfully he’s now getting an entire game to build him up properly.

I followed this game for 9 years, and seeing that another game is going to be released is icredible, this franchise marked my life and marked the lives of many people, here in Brazil the game has a great community, i hope they continue to release games at last until 2027.

This is definitely going to shed some light on the first Fall Fest. When the trailer starts before it becomes clear that It's a carpet, the pattern looks like the tents from the fall fest posters. The music box reminds me of the Puppet and not to mention the animatronic inside the music box, presumably the Mimic looks like the Puppet as well as Sunrise and Moondrop, just more Fall Fest themed, this definitely Isn't a coincidence and the Mimic is way older than we thought if those 3 animatronics are based off its appearance before it was ruined and we see it in-game. Key: 1.) There are currently 2 Fall Fest's, the one that takes place in 1983 as seen in the first Help Wanted Curse of Dreadbear DLC, and the second is a Fall Fest dating back to 1970 that can be found in Help Wanted 2. This trailer could be linked to either of these two, or it could be a third, completely new Fall Fest. We'll just have to wait and see. 2.) It might be worth brightening the trailer frame-by-frame, I know it might be an old method that doesn't really work anymore in the more modern era of environmental storytelling but It's best not overlook any possibility in this franchise.

Guys i found the secret if you slow the video 0:25 you can see the number 1979 so this means this is past and i believe that the mimic was the first pupet of hole story and i think that the Puppet's music is taken from Mimic's music and this is the fredbear family dinner restaurant so maybe the game is at fredbear family dinner and i have another theory that i think we are playin as crying child from fnaf 4 I have another theory too " To see the future sometimes you need to understand the past " I think this sentence is related to the death of the crying child, why does the crying child have to die, why did the older brother do this, maybe this game will show that the death of the crying child was not without reason.
Id like to state that these theories, imo, have a high chance of being true. I dont remember where i heard this but i do know that somewhere scott had stated a while back that there was so many hints that we had missed in fnaf 4. This game might be able to point out, restate, or connect to these hints to make them obviuos. Also, in Dawkos recent interview with scott, he had also said that sometimes he makes these hints (that the theorists couldnt find during that time), however he just lets them go and doesnt give an explanation; as well as sometimes waiting to long. I know this statement really has nothing ot do woth this, however connecting the possible thoughts might just help to prove the point/theory!
Dude this looks like it's set during the Fall Fest or some sort of circus attraction, so the Mimic probably goes back 60 years to the 1970s compared to when we see him in Security Breach (like 2035). But alas, this is not the case in the franchise itself and does not make sense for the developers themselves.

I don’t know if anyone noticed, and I saw a video about this recently. The carpet that we see in this trailer is similar to the carpet that’s in “the shining” movie and in “Black ops six”. Apparently that’s supposed to mean some sort of horror element. I’m not exactly sure what anymore though, but there will definitely be parallels shown in this game probably

so this means this is past and i believe that the mimic was the first pupet of hole story and i think that the Puppet's music is taken from Mimic's music and this is the fredbear family dinner restaurant so maybe the game is at fredbear family dinner and i have another theory that i think we are playin as crying child from fnaf 4

Id like to state that these theories, imo, have a high chance of being true. I dont remember where i heard this but i do know that somewhere scott had stated a while back that there was so many hints that we had missed in fnaf 4. This game might be able to point out, restate, or connect to these hints to make them obviuos. Also, in Dawkos recent interview with scott, he had also said that sometimes he makes these hints (that the theorists couldnt find during that time), however he just lets them go and doesnt give an explanation; as well as sometimes waiting to long. I know this statement really has nothing ot do woth this, however connecting the possible thoughts might just help to prove the point/theory!

Dude this looks like it's set during the Fall Fest or some sort of circus attraction, so the Mimic probably goes back 60 years to the 1970s compared to when we see him in Security Breach (like 2035). This looks so freaking awesome I can't wait to visit the past again AND learn more about the Mimic (hopefully it will wander more questions than pose them.....) THANK YOU STEEL WOOL AND SCOTT

From what I’ve seen, we have a music box that sounds similar to The Puppets Music box, and the character at 0:22 is hard to make out to who it is? Maybe a new character or someone else. Regardless, I’m excited to see where this game is gonna go, and I’m excited to see the lore that this will offer!!!!! 😱😀👍

But alas, this is not the case in the franchise itself and does not make sense for the developers themselves.
