    The taillights are tremendously epic. I hated the ones on the last generation Charger, but Dodge knocked it out the park on this one. I agree they are the sexiest taillights on ANY car created.

    I have had these experiences too! Love it! Re #8 thinking I'm a cop, I find that people kind of slow down and seem to be checking me out, then realize that I'm not and speed up. But very often, people get out of my way in the left lane. And yes, the power and responsiveness never gets old! :-D I agree and feel the same way with all your points, too. I think that this is a really powerful looking, sleek, beautiful car. The look is distinctive.

    Watched both your videos on reasons you love and hate your Charger. I've had a 2011 RT AWD with all options since new and would like to add a couple of items that stands out for me.
    I love the location of the next/previous and volume controls on the back of the steering wheel. Never have to look down and don't even have to move your hands.
    I hate the fact that the odometer doesn't have tenths of a mile.
    I also have a 2014 Mustang and although they are quite different from each other, I love both cars for different reasons.

    Dude, I dig your video. We are on our 2nd Charger SXT, and 3rd Challenger R/T. Very well built, and we have had zero issues with them, including an '06 Magnum. The first Challenger was an '09, and weren't real common at the time, and it was insane. People would take pics everywhere we went, and occasionally almost run me off the road trying to get a closer look. Unreal. Anyway, #11, is these cars are all built on Mercedes E-class platforms, and use Daimler electrics and engine controls. Proven stuff. If you take care of them, they take care of you. Cheers

    Again really enjoyed your video. What exhaust do you have or is it stock? It reminds me of my Flowmaster catback but maybe it's just the microphone placement? The one thing I envy about the newer gen Chargers are all the interior features. Don't get me wrong, I like my interior, but the features the new ones have really make mine seem like it's a decade old. Keep up the good work and make sure you update us if you get the Scat Pack! That's #1 on my list of next possible cars.

      +clarisse169 Thanks a lot!! There's a couple videos on the channel of the full exhaust setup but it's two magnaflow mufflers and a resonator delete. If you've seen my recent scat pack review I'm sure you've seen how highly I thought of it. Haven't driven the new SS yet but it's going to have to be damn good to out-do the Scatty.

    • @RPProductions
      @RPProductions  8 лет назад

      +Boss 302 I'd go with the RT. The 5.7 is a beast of an engine and doesn't really have many problems. The power difference is pretty significant (check out my v8 vs v6 racing video) and you'll never be thinking to yourself "I wish I bought the more powerful one."

    • @goldenjimbo007
      @goldenjimbo007 8 лет назад

      +Boss 302 As an R/T owner myself, I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that the 5.7L V8 is the way to go for sure. It's a PROVEN beast (2002-present?) and the 4cyl ECO mode gives you pretty excellent highway economy anyway.

    I have the same blacktop package 2014 charger RT and I absolutely love it... I have had mine for 3 years now, and there is only one thing I didnt like about it when I bought it and that is the stock tires. I only got 9,000 miles out of them before the were worn and I only have 1,600 miles on mine now, and that is a 3 year old car so I don't drive a whole lot. Firehawk Gt tires r horrible. It shines up so nice with a good hand wash and hand wax(which I just done recently.) I love all the looks and compliments I get about my charger. I do baby it though, don't use the power which is awesome(but it is nice to have) never had it over 4,000 RPM. I have just today however noticed a sensor on the back right side of my rear view mirror I didn't know was there. Anyone know what that is? Have been trying to find out on line since I spotted it but no luck. Is that a light sensor since I have the auto dim in the mirror? Please if anyone knows, it us bugging the crap out of me not knowing.

    I had a 2015 challenger rt traded it for a Subaru sti and never looked back. Oh and I really wouldn't buy anything in the Chrysler group if you plan on trading in the future because they depreciate so fast its insane with the exception of Jeep Wrangler

    • @RPProductions
      @RPProductions  8 лет назад +1

      +Dominick Isaac I like the STI's as well but my next car will either be a scat pack or 2016 camaro SS. I was able to get my car for a really good deal. Even with 21k miles and a new body style out I'd only loose out on 5-6k if I were to sell it right now, which honestly isn't bad at all.

    • @n-power-automotive
      @n-power-automotive 8 лет назад +1

      +Dominick Isaac you traded a one year old car. That's the absolute worst time to trade in a car, so regardless of the manufacturer, it's going to most likely be a loss since the second you drive 99.9% of cars off the lot you're losing money.

    • @dominickisaac3692

      +Dominick Isaac Subarus are great cars, especially an STi. If it were a little larger inside it would be a car I'd consider owning someday, but being 6'3" and having two kids in car seats it'd be way to cramped. Regardless I've had great luck with my Charger, no issues in 3 years of ownership and 30,000 miles of use.

    i've never heard anyone say good things about the beats audio. putting the price of beats into aftermarket audio would be so much better if you can do it yourself. and since the battery is in the trunk it makes it really easy to install a sub and amp

    • @RPProductions
      @RPProductions  9 лет назад +1

      +David N The beats audio system already comes with an 8 inch sub in the trunk that kicks pretty good for coming with the car. A lot of people are impressed with it when riding around with me and so am I. When I first bought the car I laughed when I saw the speakers were made by beats but they really did surprise me, one of the better sounding car audio systems I have heard to date.

    • @Senderson1320

      ***** nice man well that works. It is cool to have a sub and not loose any trunk space. I have an 06 rt and not sure what sound system it came with cause I bought it used but it had a stock 8 as well. I still added my Rockford fosgate 10" though and now it fuken bumps

      +WarmSoftKitty shh..stop crying. Oh, & iv owned a Challenger SRT for 5years now so ya, I kind of know what I'm talking about..one is a sedan, & one is a Coupe. No sedan should be called a muscle Car period

    • @hmackprotection1

      +WarmSoftKitty yes, performance sedans have been in production for decades, but the term "muscle car" didn't come into the lexicon until 1964 with the introduction of the 64 GTO..2dr rear drive V8 Coupe with performance specifically heard toward straight line acceleration, distinct exhaust note, & a unique body design

    I have the same car and most of it is bs. People don't come up to me asking me questions, I don't get called out by others trying to race. It's a good car, but it's a car! I've modified my Charger more. I have Spyder smoked out headlights, looks like a beast. But unless I'm driving an SRT8.... c'mon it's a charger people.

    You are so concerned with other people. Reasons you love your car is because of peoples reaction. If people started believing it's a shitty car you seem like the type of guy who would switch to the next cool thing...no dis just ,making an observation...

    • @RPProductions
      @RPProductions  9 лет назад +1

      +Amirnake If you watch my video of "8 things I hate about my car" you'll see that I actually do get a lot of people hate on my car. I've never been one to really care what other people think and everything I do is for myself and because I enjoy it. The fact that people share that enjoyment with me and compliment me on it is cool and clearly makes me feel good after all of the time/money invested into my car. I get countless people telling me to buy a 5.0 but that's not what I want.
      I wanted a Charger. I bought a Charger. I'm happy with my Charger. Simple as that. Not sure where you came up with your theory but it's slightly flawed.

    • @Amirnake
      @Amirnake 9 лет назад

      +RP Productions I agree with everything you say about the car. It is an eye catcher and people who drive "regular cars" (as in not something so beautiful that makes people gawk) really do notice the difference in peoples reactions and looks. This is confirmed whenever my wife needs to take my 2012 Charger RT MAX to work she always makes a comment on the attention she gets. The car is stunning, they messed up the perfect balance they struck though with the new 2015 model. I might have misread your ability to anticipate peoples thoughts and motives (I can tell you're good at it) for being obsessed with them and caring too much about them.

      +forest20 Get over it. Muscle car is a killer V8 engine, RWD and quick in the 1/4 mile. The amount of doors it has is irrelevant.

      I believe you misunderstood. the dodge charger is a ponycar made to compete with the mustang GT or the camaro ss. if your looking for a muscle car look up videos for a challenger

    • @3rdPlaya0709
      @3rdPlaya0709 8 лет назад

      +WarmSoftKitty you're the full blown idiot! A real muscle car has 2 doors! Not this family sedan bullshit with a big engine! The 68-70 charger was a real muscle car! The modern charger is a lame ass attempt. Sure today's cars might be faster and more efficient but they sure as hell don't have looks, sound and feel that the original cars did. So fuck off you whinny snot.
