No, they knows us very well, very well from other people. They know they can mess up with us because we are empaths. Narcissists hunt for empaths, good hearted, ambitious, intelligent and strong people. How could we become a narcissist supply if a narcissist doesn't knows us. A narcissist wants to ruin our life because this asshole knows that what we can achieve. A narcissist never let us live alone & freely because he knows that once we get independent, we can easily show them his place. So in my opinion, narcissists know us way better than any other people.

Keep going strong there & be brave to cut contact with them. So that they no longer can use you for any bullying & scapegoating purposes anymore! Although they're family by blood, peace & meeting your own needs is more important, in your case - they have & won't let you choose anything for yourself without their permission & will give you chaos so that your suffering gives them "peace". I wish your words were true for me. My covert ex narcissist husband forgot me. I never wanted to leave him, but the pain pushed me away, far away. I feared him. I love him and pray for his salvation as he needs Jesus, he is lost. I realize he chose me because I was a door mat. He told me if I leave that I will take the salt from his life, yet he remarried and moved on. I never dated nor remarried, he was my last. I broke contact with everyone in my life except my children as they need me. I bond myself with God as he is my only protector and best friend.

The guy that you want doesnt want you to want to carry everything on your own. He wants you to be happy.

Just because he "moved on" doesn't mean he forgot you. It's like the movie Ever After when Cinderella tells her stepmother, "From this moment on I will forget you. But I'm sure you will remember me for the rest of your life." Evil doesn't forget what good they lost and they despise them every day for "winning" and leaving. Your ex may play the part in public, but deep down they are miserable. I think that's part of their punishment in remembering every day what miserable bastards they are. They know, and remember what they did, but they will never let on that they do. God knows and sees all. He is just and fair and won't let them get away with it in the long run. Keep your head up high and keep your eyes on Him.
You deserve better. I can relate to having to go no contact with most people because the narcissist gains many supporters through his flying monkeys. It's a living Hell.
I left a very abusive relationship with a man who manipulated the legal system and took my children full time. He is also hurting them and no one will listen. There are some things worse than death -- in knowing your children are being harmed and nothing you can do to stop it.
You are lucky to still have your children. I pray that they will also see what he is someday.
We don't need any other relationship. I believe that's where God wants us to be, to where we can rely on and trust completely in Him. I believe He is the only one who has given me the strength and the endurance to take one painful breath and day at a time. Suffering I believe helps us understand what Christ went through for us and to be able to be with Him someday, something abusers will never understand. God bless and take care. ❤

I suffer from extreme PTSD from that kid and what he’s done to us. The first year of cutting him out of my life, I slept with a knife next to my bed in fear he’ll come for revenge on me and my daughter. He was not raised this way at all, and people automatically attack and blame me for his behavior!! My son dug his heals every step of the way and downright refused to allow anyone (even me) to help him. A therapist can’t help someone who won’t talk which is what he did. I spent $975 on this test only for them to dismiss it and not wanting to go through the process of his lawyer trying to flip it around on me and blame me for putting something in it. #2 ~ I dumped him with a big fat door slam. Good riddance. I have no feelings for him whatsoever. The last thing he did was to drive my car 92 miles per hour down a very busy highway at night. We were taking my dog to an Emergency Vet, an hour from my home. That was the final straw. It took everything I had not to react. I went No Contact. He's still driving by my house. Fool. Came to the house on my birthday and kept knocking but I didn't answer. He sat in my driveway and then in front of the house for several hours. He honked the horn of his car, but I could hear that he hadn't gone. He left a gift and the funniest card I've ever received. It wasn't meant to be funny, it was meant to manipulate me into calling and thanking him. I'm sure he thought he was slick. But I've always been able to see right through him. It used to freak him out. He wasn't used to someone who stood firm in her boundaries and would call him out on his BS. We were only together 6 months. During that time I had Covid twice and three autoimmune flares. It feels so good to be free.

I recently ended a relationship with a narcissist. Since then he has been trying to contact me and recently he even wrote in an e-mail that he "dreamed about me". Bloody hell... The guy was my client for 7 years. I've been running a tattoo parlor for the same amount of time. Last year I realized that he was no longer my client but a parasite who intimidated me, came to tell me his pathological life stories and gave vent to his sadistic fantasies. When I discovered it, I started observing it and after a year and a half I managed to get out of this sick system and dependence.. Now he is trying to contact me outside of my professional life by e-mail because I switch of my business Phone to get rid of him and others. Thanks Danish! At the time he was in total denial for the first 24 hours and figured I would come crawling back like I had in the past. Thinking I had nowhere to go or move to....little did he know I was ready to move and leave if his behavior continued. After the initial denial phase, he tried to be fake nice, then that eventually transformed into passive aggression and ultimately rage and him transforming into a full blown alcoholic. After 5.5 years of being verbally, mentally, emotionally, and financially abused he utterly lost his ability to control my life and ended up resorting to crying for the first time ever in a utter ajaring and sudden sideshow on my last day there before finally leaving for good and never looking back.

Yet my kids spend quality time with their dad and his mom, even vacationing together, and the grandkids spend time with them. The best way to take revenge from them is by focusing on your own self-growth. This includes your career, health, loved ones, and your own well-being. Even more importantly, be happy and fulfilled in front of them. When they ask how you have been, which is basically their way of asking how you have been since they gave u hell n caused you pain and mistreated you, answer them with the belief that God is with you and say that you are absolutely fine with a radiant glow. This will make burn them like hell without actually dying🤣

and 6 months ago. My life IMMEDIATELY improved. Last year she sent me a VERY complimentary e-mail saying, "my friends always thought you looked like
Catherine Zeta Jones". I did not reply. I wanted to.. . . . something mean, but I stayed away. And yes, I am not telling everybody I know who she knows.
Interesting my husband has an older sister who was the exact same way. He refuses to talk to her. She got the message and returned to him all photos she
ever had of him from baby to adult, erasing him from her life. Although he didn't give her the supply that my (once) sister got from me (I didn't understand).

(why I still have maintained a little contact) But one of the last things he said to my family about me is that I'm "so selfish and just don't care about people." I volunteer taught disadvantaged children for years and I volunteered as a firefighter paramedic for years. But I'm selfish. I don't care about people. I guess he is All people in his world.
One thing people should know is narcissists have no memory, you can provide for them for years but they day you are out of attention, time, or money is the day you become their enemy.

I did research before I presented her initial lie to her less than two months ago. I asked her a simple question-she lied-I asked her a follow up question-not only did she lie-she actually sent a photo. Then I was fed up and didn’t argue-I told her I’m not playing any games became silent and then finally admitted the truth. But my problem was the argument we had 2 months ago that she lied then-then the bword said it was a surprise. For the 1st time I told her that I hate her and she felt it. This is her 7th lie-and I finally got the courage to leave and let her know I talk to other ppl.

I love the fact that he may never forget me. Maybe that is my revenge. He was so abusive mentally, emotionally, and publically so abusive that even those in our social circle were embarrassed for me and wondered how much more abuse I would take before leaving. Narcissism is truly a sickness. Ten years, a survivor!

They have no idea what you've had to put up with. Sooner or later, they will see what the narcissist is really like.
Just get away from all of them, they'll see sooner. But it's best to just stay away.

I find strange that he prepared in college to work as a high school guidance counselor. The weekends he had visitation with our son, a grandmother took care of him while the father went out to play baseball or tennis. I finally understand why he was not interested in parenting. His wife initiated custody proceedings to take my son away from me at age 7. Now I realize that my son (53) never really had a father figure in his life to show him what it means to be a parent. He was a 7-year-old who found himself in a new household with two teenage stepsisters, a stepmother, and a father who did not love him.

I still often think about suicide because of my narcissistic ex-partner (due to the flashbacks mostly), but this video of yours reminded me of the way she behaved towards me and other people when my brother helped me implement no contact with her. Thank you so much, as I believe it is helpful to reiterate or learn about certain mechanics to facilitate the healing process of narcissistic abuse.

It's 2 years no contact with former friend. Occasionally, I'll get a call from his ex-wife. They have a kid and grandchildren, so they'll always interact. He really put her through some crap. I take a call to offer support knowing what she and their daughter went through. Sometimes, I do wonder if the call is her digging info on me for him. Before ending my friendship with him the phone calls to me from her were help not hi.

Got out off relationships with narcissist over 4 years ago, took a long time to process the trauma and there’re still times when I ruminate over my ex. He used to say that he is the one that always breaks up first and his exes always “beg” him to come back. 😂 How good it feels to know that I won and definitely he’ll remember me.

No doubt. They never consider anyone to have the audacity to walk away from them. It's in their own audacity that they will reap what they sow. They make you believe you are alone. But, when you walk away you'll find that there are others who are victims of these cruel, vile, vulgar creatures too. You will find that you aren't alone. The good and decent people will walk with you.
In a world that has Amber Heards', be a Johnny Depp. You'll never walk alone. ✌❤

Danesh, what do you do with the love you still might have for them? I decided to keep it in my heart, but never show it to them. That is my 'business', not theirs. No contact gives a burst of joy, with an accompanying sorrow, about the dream once dreamed. Life does really go on though. Life is for living.

I think of them like I think of a rabid dog. If I had a dog that I loved, and he got rabies...I would have to put him down. It would make me sad; and I would still have love for him. And I would grieve, and let him go.

How about love the person but not their illness. You did not cause it. You cannot control it. You cannot cure it. Pray for them. For your own peace and sanity and even safety, they have to stay away. Let go and learn to love and be happy with yourself. That is the difficult one.

@@butterflyb.9135 I guess that it is the spark of life and their long-forgotten tiny child spirit, looking up from the bottom of the dark, hollow, echoing hole, which I see, but they cant. Imagine practicing singing songs, with a Sociopath and flying kites, with a Narcissist. I too had to give them up, to their fate, hoping that God would intervene, in their world for which a 'do not enter' sign applies to me. A sad visit with them, spoke volumes.
