In this video I show you, how I changed the rear right suspension on my 2011 BMW 535d GT. The car has already 240'000km (149'000miles)

Thanks! I appreciate your making this video! There are not enough videos out there for the 535 GT. I had the dealer replace a bad strut and they charged $800 but I did not have the time to do it myself ... So, now I know how ... Thanks again!

Great video! Thank you! After the replacement both sides Air springs (Arnott A-2780) for my car (2014 BMW 535 GT) compressor did his job and inflated Springs, but now my car’s rear position is not even: left side is about 1inch higher compare to the right side. I wonder what’s cause this? May be I should look deeper to the Sensors (??).
you can calibrate the ride height using ISTA

Interesting video would u recommend me to buy one 530d gt 2009 are they reliable and what I need to look for ? And repair I should prepare?
Ive had one 4 yrars and just got a f11 the f07 is much better in my opinion. I do all my own repairs engine cassis etc. Factor in shocks will need doing 100k and bottom ball joints as they squeak. Also lower wishbones and drop links . Brakes wear quick as its heavy but easy to work on. Good can and super spacious. Check the boot seals are good. Intake manifold if diesel have to be cleaned often to keep swirl flap faults away. Airbags on the back go but change for arrnot type. I miss her but ive sold to my sister so get to see her now and then. Also i miss the soft close doors....look for extras as lots with, also steering wheel paddles are a nice option. Lci or anything after 2011 has better engines especially the 535d. Aldo these cars had all the cool adaptive headlights and high beam assist....mine had 145k miles when i let it go absolutely mint. Go a profile size up on tyres drives better. Little remap helps the power to weight as these are heavy.
@@fixityourself1111 Thanks for responding the 530d i was talking about is super mint under 100km and fully loaded but i was hesitant and scared of the reparation cuz it's bmw parts are hard to get plus they aren't cheap sorry for my late response i didn't receive any notif but right i actually bought a cx5 mazda 2014 this thing is amazing
