Thank you for great info Glen 😊 I do have a question for you or anyone on here who might know…I’ve been doing research and can’t find and answer. I have a 2011 bmw 750 li. Never had ANY issues with suspension. Alternative gave out, took it to a shop to get replaced, and now the airbags are not going up. Mechanic says bmws are know to have either suspension failure or other possible engine failures after alternator switch. Does anyone know how true or false that is ? I was recommended to this mechanic by a family friend 😢
Im begining to h8 my bmw with the problems i keep getting with the suspension its had 2 pumps replaced electric wire now its back in garage for the same problem
My X5 went down overnight. Left it outside on driveway that has slight angle. It has been somewhat intermittent over the last 4 months. It wouldn't pump up at all this morning. Now I turned the car on and waited and it pumped up. The fact that it dropped overnight suggests the valve is leaking, no?
Great video - but my F85 has all sorts of black rigid hose lines under the compressor. Is this an F85 X5M and not F15 thing? how did you get those 5 or so black lines out the way to drop the compressor?
Can you provide us with the Amazon Link for that Compressor ( Vendor, manufacturer or Amazon Store)… There are multiple vendors on Amazon, but seems to me that you have picked the Good one. Thank you!
I have a question so I disconnected the lever to simulate a load on the car and my pump only made a click sound but the more I did it the pump stopped making sounds. I believe I should just replace the car but i was just trying to see if you knew what else it could be
@@Glennfix thank you sir, I have a 2016 740i, how much should i expect to purchase a air compressor for my suspension and is their 1 or 2 compressor per car? Thanks in advance
There is just one compressor. You can find them on Amazon for around $300. BMW wants about $1600. I got the Amazon one. It works good but is a little bit louder.
@@AC-gk8dx That is a sign the check valve in the pump is bad. It can be hard to find a leak. The airbags can leak also. It can be a process of elimination.
I did on a E-39 4.4 V8-- ruclips.net/video/DIwMyAt1FRw/видео.html or I did the timing chain guides with oil pump --ruclips.net/video/XcmuxaXi6s8/видео.html

It is hard to say but sounds like it. Make sure you check all the wires for shorts.
@@Glennfix Ok.

Still working but it is a little loud.

Pump still working??
Still working good.
how exactly do you remove the clips?
You can use a flathead to pop them out and then use pliers to yank them out if they are really old and stiff
my compressor just clicks and thats it . piston does move up and down like it should but wont run . any idea ?
Most likely the pump is bad.
greatly appreciated @@Glennfix
I just bought a Amazon version also. Crossing my fingers it works.

How many hours to replace
Not a bad job, under 2 hours
