1st song that sounds like "classic" 3-piece Interpol. Looking forward to the full album, I'm really interested in what they've got going on as a concept this time around; sounds much mellower and slow. Hope there are bangers

Eargasm. Mind, body and soulgasm. Interpol makes love to my eardrums. Their music saved my life during the darkest period of my life..Turn On the Bright Lights came out when I was in high school and my adopted parents were abusing me in the most messed up ways and profiting off of their abuse...I was going to take my own life and had an entire plan...until..I heard this album for the first with my walkman and headphones and the album which I mowed 4 lawns/walked 5 miles to purchase..I felt like I finally found the music I had been looking for, nothing else ever quite did it for me. The Killers started being The Killers because of your music, Brandon Flowers even said numerous times. They are my safe space I always return to when I need an escape ever since..I would bet good money that I am one of your biggest fans for literally saving my life at the time which in turn, saved my life for good. Life after I finally graduated with awards/scholarships despite what I was going through, has been amazing ever since and I never saw my abusers again(don't call them my parents cuz they weren't and that word is too nice for these demons). I owe so much to you. I will listen to your music until I am grey. THANK YOU INTERPOL. Paul Banks, I am yours anytime/anywhere/any place...you just say the word haha ;)

I think this album will be what A Moon Shaped Pool was for Radiohead: a more intimate trip into Bank's life experience. The lyrics are so profound in this one.
People expecting a new TOTBL is like people expecting a new OK Computer - it simply won't happen. Music is the expression of the artist's soul, and so it changes, varies, making it unique everytime. Still, this song is definitely Interpol, it can't be denied.
I look forward to hearing more of the album.

I agree mostly and like all the new songs but theres something a bit off on this, maybe the high vocals at parts and major compression. I have to say I mightve liked this song more when I saw it live earlier this month

Non lo so bro, non riesco a immaginare qualcosa di più intimo di TOTBL. Secondo me non potranno mai ripetersi perché il primo era un 10/10, semplicemente. Ciò non significa che tutto ciò che viene dopo, come quest'album, sia brutto. Ma TOTBL è un altro livello. Semplicemente irripetibile
