My favorite thing about Interpol is how we get to grow and evolve with their sound. He's like therapy for the broken heart. And watching him play is believing in real pure love.

Yo creci con Interpol desde el 2004 , llegaron en mi tiempo de adolescencia con el increible Antics y me ayudo mucho su musica en ver el mundo de otra manera, fueron mi primer concierto en vivo en el 2005 y ahora que los volvere a ver casi 20 años después en ese mismo lugar se siente una nostalgia increible como pasan los años y de verdad como da gusto crecer y madurar con el grupo conforme pasa la vida, ya estoy esperado que llegue ese dia para cantar, brincar y sentir las melodias como se debe de disfrutar en un concierto, porque Interpol si es música, con cada letra tan profunda en cada cancion de ellos.

It´s amazing how the first listens never go down well with Interpol.
I think even Daniel Kessler said that in an interview, how fans usually take their time to get the sound, and then become addicted to it.
I totally relate with that, i feel like after four or five proper listens, it finally clicked for me.

Sinceramente essa é a minha música preferida, cada instrumento é tocado com perfeição, cada nota tá no lugar certo e tudo evoluem com naturalidade. É tão belo, mas não acho que é melancólico, é paz, aquele momento em que tudo flue na direção certo, nós mesmos, nossas vidas, as coisas e as pessoas, é uma música que me dá esperança, que me acalma.
Por causa de Toni eu embarquei na discografia do Interpol que é simplesmente genial, uma banda que muda seu som a cada disco, mas sempre mantendo a sua essência, assim como a vida é, assim como todos nós deveríamos ser.

This sounds fantastic, I think the piano really makes it. Definitely an overall step up from what they started with on Marauder. And the video itself has kind of a West Side Story vibe. Wonder if that goes with the lyrics. Regardless I now am highly anticipating The Other Side Of Make Believe. Glad the guys still have it 20 years later.
The production is much better than what we got on Marauder. The drums on that record was buried ten feet underground. This sounds kinda like Muzz. And I fucking love Muzz.
I feel like they really returned to the sound they had on self titled record and honestly that is amazing because it was such underrated one
