Congrats with the new nephew/niece. My hearth still melts when i think of the first time I saw my niece :) Seing your brothers/sister being in total happienes over their new born child, is moment you wanna save for eternity :)
If I had your equipment, I would definitly use your flash but using it as a bounce flash and or I would set the flash to -2/3 or more to make the photos look like you did not use a flash. I just used my D750 last week at a wedding and I wished I had dedicated Nikon flash; all I could do was reduce the flash intensity. Good luck, have fun.
My second granddaughter fromOzz and her fellow had hoped round,and they agreed to let me take some pictures,,I don't know them so I had get them relaxed in my little photo room,i had a soft box and speed light set up already !!shot a dozen,manaul focus tricky but got all keepers some a little soft but turns out ok, always a nervy situation if you don't do enough photography ! !

I've been looking on Amazon for one myself, but I can't find the one you use in this video, since there are alot of them called 'basic backpack'. I'm looking for one where I could attach my tripod.
I know she'll probably be shooting RAW but there's a WB setting in-camera, like "Tungsten," "Florescent," etc., that I'm wondering if she was going to use. I use one of the in-camera WB settings on my Canon for indoor shoots and it seems to save me some time in post-processing. :)

all you really need for a baby shower is a Camera (FF) + a 50mm and your feet and probably a flash

That is IMO one of the few times when a superzoom comes in handy, e.g. 18-135 or even 18-250 on APS-C, or equivalent field of view for full-frame.

WB presets are for people that don’t know what they’re doing.
