Had to watch this match after todays stream and Andrea just canceling their scheduled adoption match because she tried to get 65 seconds against 3 minutes, after they had already agreed on different time odds beforehand. Aman then said he was willing to do 70 seconds but Andrea was like 'nope either take my odds or bye!'.
Thought it was a bit weird and disappointing and I can definitely see amans stance that, even though he won this match, he isn't favored to at all

at 4:56 game 1, why didnt botez play the very seemingly easy to spot ba2 check? Knight forks king/rook if king moves to a1, if king moves to a3 you have a discovered check, knight takes bishop or knight to g2 to take the rook

He’s gotta win 10 in a row to “win”. I don’t think aman could manage that in 30sec vs 3 mins. Naroditsky has played them in this format with 1 min vs 5 mins and he doesn’t always pull it off.
Maybe 1 min vs 3 mins would be a bit closer. 30-45 seconds no way.
Botez sisters kind of prove life is on easy mode if you’re a girl. 2200 blitz male would be like “meh, nothing special at all, no chance at being popular”.

Botez sisters aren't even that great. They act like they WGM title is something to brag about and yet it's actually way lower rated then an IM rating.
Botez sisters really did help with the chess scene, but they need to stop acting like their WGM title means something. Stay humble, promote chess, and have fun, and stop acting like you are a a bad ass. The only people who get to do this are super GM's, like Magnus, Hikaru, Wesley So, etc.
Yes, they really think they're hot shit. That explains why they thought getting absurd odds (aka adoption and almost 3:1 time odds) would be a fair match. They obviously don't think they're way worse than a GM at chess.
