1700 rating - 500$ on the line = 1200 effective rating
Not even that
Hahaha!
I just failed a test but I'm laughing, thanks man
Don’t let that test make you sad, it won’t be important a year from now.
@@fjxs Some tests are important years from now.
Me: Two queens. It's over.
Aman: You either wave the flag, or I flag you.
Hikaru: Write that down write that down!
Lol he was humiliating him
lmao all the guys bashing the 1700 player forget that Aman is a GM that is especially good at short time controls, chances are the same 1700 in this video could beat all the 900s in the chat talking shit while down a queen too
@@m4tas0 In blitz time control? Absolutely you wont lol
@@m4tas0 I'm 1900 rated and I'm pretty sure both you and I would get wrecked by Stockfish with only 1 minute on the clock, even with the extra queen.
@@m4tas0 1800 on lichess 😄 🤣 😂 😆
@@add9audio355 winning with a queen up is actually really easy. And with that i mean more easy than play a normal game.
Every exchange is in your favor, so you just need to exchange down in an easy winning Endgame.
Btw against Stockfish it could even be easier because Stockfish does make engine moves, so if the position is losing it will go faster in a lost endgame.
@@Marco..1 just tried it and you're right. I didn't realize 3000 rated Stockfish would willingly accept trades in a losing position. Interesting that such an advanced engine would have such a poor grasp of a basic chess principle like don't trade when you're down material. But then again I guess Stockfish assumes the opponent will play perfectly and evaluates all the lines from this perspective, it seems to have no concept of moves that are "tricky" and might provoke the opponent into a mistake.
Dont troop the 1700 dude he is playing Aman a goddamn GM and he is streaming That is a lotta pressure on that poor guy.
Lol right. I played james canty in a bullet viewer arena and even i felt pressure even though nothing was on the line. I could hear him judging my moves and it made it harder.
@@chrisbeaudoin9818 Canty is strong bro, I'd be intimidated
but he is up one queen from the start and he made some easy blunders which I think should not happen at 1700 level
He did play terrible for a 1700 he blundered loads of pieces
And he blunders his queen after a 5 second think?
I love aman style .
He needs chaos around him to perform at his highest level . Loud music . An audience. Distractions. People cheering . Time crunch . Etc .
And all I need is the slightest excuse to blame my loss on
I don't remember why but I didn't like Aman at first. This guy is an awesome character & one of my favourite streamers now 👍
Same. I feel the chessbrah's are so cringe at first. I started to like Aman after i watched his building habits series, it was so great.
same, first I was like 'who is this guy? I am here for Eric' - and now I love watching Aman's streams
U could say his personality has a strong endgame
@@TXJ2212 I think it was the same for me. I instantly loved Eric & thought "who's this guy trying to be?" But he's so funny I love him more than Eric now 😂 2 great guys!
It's probably cause of those bait comments saying he's a murderer n shit 😂
He went into bullet scramble mode way too early . He obs forgot he had 30 seconds still on the clock and an extra queen . If he weren’t full of nerves he would never have lost this
Ye
4:14 you miss mate ng6#
@@rumenkrasimirov1437yes it is
@@claudiog7692 yes it is
$150 in merchandise versus $500. Well ... that's a damn good deal.
Actually it's $150 in merchandise versus $250 cash. Twitch streamers only get 50% for every sub, the other half goes to twitch.
and all of that is not including taxes
@@blaquerDP But you can't ignore the fact that there is a $150 commitment on one end, and $500 on the other. (Assuming the $150 merch has $150 value, which is probably an extreme overestimation.)
@@kupsef lets Say im better and can beat you 20 games in a row but if you wanna play Queen odds (+9) and 1m vs 3m then its 100 you 1000 me take it or leave it we on zero in the end with this bet fair as it gets... 150 to 500 damn aman you gave that men some sick odds...
@@vrama19 Yeah I get what you're saying, I'm a chess noob (1300 mmr), but I feel like Aman is still favored here. If the odds were Aman:Viewer - 1:2, then I would be OK with it I guess.
@@kupsef yea 1300 a bit to low even with this Huge odds but he had him easy more atacking peaces naked King but blundered the knight then the Queen a nove after and started to tryna flag ina won position but i get it he came to 30 sec and panic mod but bevele me this 1700 player cant beleve he lost that or mybe he troled idk
For those who think that 1700s dont blunder like that he was probably bit nervous as he was playing a GM and money was on the line, also i am 1900 and i make 1 move blunders too😅
Everyone do 1 move blunders, we re not computers
@@aquaticcraft9397 true
There is hope for me
@@fallen_realms ofc there is !
1700s make tons of blunders it's just that these guys are like 600-1500 so they don't see them as often 😂
i was just about to praise the 1700 for playing it perfectly by trading everything... then he decided to drop his queen
and his knight
he already dropped 7pts. by then
Everyone criticizing the 1700 is just showing how blissfully unaware how wide the skill gap is between a 3000 and 1700 in bullet/blitz time environment. EvaxToffee actually played with a pretty respectable 85% accuracy but cracked under time pressure with about 30 secs left after the knight blunder.
You either dont play chess at a 1200+ rating or youre trolling. The 1700 played terribly
@@griffinjarrelldesch what’s your rating?
@@petergriffin8767 1267 and i definately wouldve played better than that.
@@griffinjarrelldesch you’re 1200 you wouldn’t

Amazing vid. Always crazy plays, good shit
Love watching your mastery of the board. Truly amazing! Art in motion.
Those king premoves at the end! Haha
1700 played very well first 20+ moves. Good kingside attack. But somehow crumbled when having less time. Pity. GG both

4:14 Aman has Ng6#
the long hair vibe is back 😍
Aman always makes good decisions when he is drunk
Music at the beginning : born free - melody's enemy
Love the tracks that were playing in the background.
They have playlists on Spotify if you like the style! Not sure they have the exact songs in the vid though.
Credit to the 1700 on one of the funniest chess nicks ever though.
That background music at around 1 minute... I could've sworn he had the Zerg music from StarCraft 1 playing. Anyone else feel the same?
At 3:04 he had 1 min 34 sec, he should have played calm and traded the other pieces he would have won against aman
Man it was so smart of Aman that he did'nt queen the pawn bat won on time. Becauce if he queens there is a chance of stalemate. He knew he would win on time and so he went the safer way. I find it pretty imressive 👍🏻
4:08 Good move bro, really following those habits. The perfect time to move your Rook for the first time is in the endgame. Preferably while your Queen is hanging.
First time I've seen a king running in his bhishops diagonal to block stalemate chances in these sort of positions, I'll remember that, thank you Aman.
4:14 the 1700 blundered his queen while enabling checkmate on g6...
A big blunder for sure but not unusual. 1700s still make a lot of blunders, especially under pressure
This 1700 blundered a bishop and queen in a completely winning position for free lmao
You'd do the same against him
I'm more impressed by the choons. What was the first one? Nice dominator remix too
that was an awful bet lol. $150 in merchandise is already bad compared to 150 cash. But then he has to pay $500 if he loses. And all while he is the big underdog (imo)
"that was just animal cruelty what I did to my guy over here"
They ever posts the paylists?
The track's pure bangers and mash
Insane! Gg man
I could probably beat a 1700 with no queen. Wait, you mean the 1700 has no queen, right?
I’ve never seen Aman get this intense. That was scary 😟 freaked me out
He s a man of his word btw, he rly gifted that respect
4:44 I love this so much
Try to do it in 15+10 rapid chess with increment (or at least draw) but with queen for piece
what is the genre of music?
How is chessbrah at only ~250k on RUclips. This is the most entertaining stuff to watch hands down
maybe if he stops blasting edm at 200% volume
aman is amazingly good at playing without queen, well the undefeated opening gave it away
4:15 is it me or did he miss mate with knight g6?
True.. Even Aman never thought a 1700 will give up his queen like that... But once he had , Aman was dazzled by that hung queen he immediately took it missing mate in 1... Gosh that 1700 sucks (regardless what they say here in the comments)
Close but not quite. The queen/rook would capture on g6 and the position would be lost
@@brokensythe neither the queen nor rook can capture g6, i think you mean e6.
@@victoriengarrigues5572 Yes my mistake, you indeed spotted the mate in one
@@brokensythe Look at that, I guess that makes me better than a 1700 rated player.
What was the second song playing?
Human Resource - Dominator (Rebūke Remix) .... credit to @
mEdnAzz (mijkolsmith) for putting it in the comments above
LEGEND
as 1200, i would absolutely destroy Aman in those odds
Bait
If you can keep yourself together, I agree.
But this alleged 1700 had to be having a fucking stroke to lose like that or he is not close to 1700. Queen odds and 2 extra minutes on the clock make way for a looooooooot of admissible blunders, and "admissible" means "not game losing".
nice troll, made me laugh
The flag. Man of culture
Ayyy that song goes hard Rebuke is nasty
i love watching you and Eric, I wish you'd make a second channel without the music, really not a fan lol
Ng6 is mate at 4:10ish
Why was it not worth doing the bishop fork? When Aman said I thought it was because he didn't want to trade down any more, but then he traded off a full rook and bishop 3 seconds later
Who discards an opportunity to make 2 queens but instead run the king around the board? Entertaining content Aman.
was a no queen challenge m8
I come for the tunes
A fine gameplay from Aman, though it's a pity black blundered the queen.
BTW the biggest feat was not the win itself, but having withstood the awful noise, which some, for whatever reasons, refer to as music :-)
DAMN, that's some sharp play. GG,
This had to be rigged. That was insane blundering.
You'd be surprised when there's money at stake.

Ikr, that queen blunder was sus. But still i think moset of us would blunder like that against a GM lol.
@@amineching8792 I didn't question this game at all till the queen blunder. Like how would anyone miss that.
Interesting Bet
coo tunes brah
Idk whenever I face 1700 they play like GM...
When I play noobs I often end up 95%+ accuracy but against high rated people/engines there just are no obvious weaknesses and I hardly can come up with plans.
@@tomriddle2257 true...🙏 😂
True, playing like karpov, 95% all time
I demolish stockfish with that kinda odds and even beat strongest stockfish13 without knight
0:25 Aman pauses briefly to mentally premove the whole game and realize that he can win
i was curious if he was going to queen the pawn(s) or "no queen" means you can NEVER have a queen
Guys what’s the second track?
ok of course it’s the rebuke mix
At Q odds and 1 min to 3 minutes how many games would the 1700 win? I think 6/10
4:14 after Re1 isnt there Ng6 mate?
Martin Karma
I wonder if he is the one and only dominator??
He threw so hard
Get him out of here 😅
can you also show sone losses sometimes? seems you always win those bets
Aman bet $150 worth of merch. Not $500.
so like $20 in value vs $500, what a gamble
1700 threw so hard
Tbh a 1700 must win this.
This 1700 he was just nervous.
That deal is one of the worst deals I’ve heard
im guessing EvaxToffe got a good looking bank account
In defence of the opponent. Playing someone who pre-moves every move accurately with only 3 min on clock would automatically make me play at -300 rating points... If not more.
This 1700 just felt the pressure pretty badly
Wth was that opening and mid game?
1700 became 170 real fast without a GM even pulling any ridiculous tricks. He just threw the game because he can't play under pressure.
Poor plebs, always underestimating the power of the GM.
5:16 did he win on time because he was afraid of stalemate?
I am 1700 but with 20s no increment I start to blunder everything.
I always came here for eric but aman is slowly blending in too . I also want to know if is a punjabi ?
4:14 Ng6 ?
Amazing
Blunder or not that was a 900elo opening from the other guy lol
I used to think Aman had a weird haircut. I still do, but I used to as well. It's part of the fun
I was able to beat stockfish NNUE (minus a queen), so I don't get this.
You beat it in 3 minutes?
@@supreme5998 Nope. Maybe 10 minutes
The 1700 didn't play badly, but entering a bet with a GM where you stake $500 and the GM stakes $150? That's the real smooth brain
I think it would have been cool if you had sent him some stuff anyway.
Boy isn't it hard shame for 1700s
holy fuck
I will demolish you with that kinda odds easily 100 out of 100 every time
Impressive
In...f..in...credible.
3:14 - why didn't the person move the bishop?!
that drop at 3:20 NUT
