Thanks everyone for watching! Stay tuned for episode 2 which drops next week :)
please stop with the long introductions
Great content!!
thanks a lot! I have also watched the 1100 Elo plus but that episode has disapeared. Is it deleted? Hopefully more of tis stuff is gonna be out :) Thanks a lot :)
Thank you for doing this opening- it's my favorite.
So will you do only KID or a plethora of other openings as well!! lol for the content!!!
Please keep uploading these! I love these kinds of "speedruns" where you stick with one opening and can really explore the themes with these. I especially love the King's Indian so this is perfect for me.
Man, these 800s have really improved in the last year since Habits came out.
What is habits?
@@anmax Building Habits, an educational series on this channel.
@@notyourdad Thanks, I'm going to watch that
I went from 750 to 1100 in 2 days, that's absolutely insane
@@anmax Love it!
Wow, those were some solid 800-900s.
Where? Lol
I agree. The very first game was definetly very good for that rating. Its allways easier to follow aman while he explains and moves his cursor to relevant pieces. But when you play against that hard of a smurf youre bound to crumble very steadily. I would be too desperate to try and get an attack to work. I think i would flat out hang a piece, even though i should be a little higher rated.
Aman this content is so good, sticking with one opening for the whole speedrun is such a good way for us to get a feel for the ideas, what you're trying to do in the opening, what things to look out for, little tricks like Ng5 etc. Please keep it going, and maybe consider for other openings in future?! Much love from the UK
Aman looks so happy in this. Wholesome teacher Aman is the best Aman brah.
I was relaxing on the porch at my cattle ranch on the outskirts of Toronto the other night when I saw some car lights and heard faint techno music and annoyed cow sounds coming from the corner of my property, where my favorite cow, Betty, lived. I snuck over there and squatted in some bushes nearby. I was surprised to see, near Betty: Eric, Aman, and Yasser, along with two other men dressed in full, skin tight leather with muzzles, wearing these funny hats.
Eric whispered, “Is this theory?” Yasser quietly replied, “push em baby.” Eric then yelled, “My bishops say hi!”
Betty startled, then started jogging away. Aman cried, “I need some speed!” and they all ran after her.
Shocked, I regathered myself and sprinted out of the bushes shouting for them to leave Betty alone. Aman looked back at me and bellowed “Get him outta here!” I was too late, they pushed Betty over and began throwing chess pieces at me. They pushed me over and ran towards their car and drove off at speed. As they raced away, though the pounding techno I could just barely make out Eric howling back at me “I’m probably more of an ass guy but I don’t discriminate!” Don’t support these guys.
Chess has the best copypasta lmao
Hell yeah a new series! I mained the fianchetto only opening you did a series on last time and it has been great fun. I managed to climb from 800 to 1100 with it. Can't wait for the rest of it.
Will the longer streams/VODS be also uploaded to the other channel? Like the Habits stream?
I hope so. I will watch here and there. This content is my favorite
99% sure the answer is yes
Adding support to this. Chessbrah has the best long form videos by far. I just don't get time to watch on twitch
"This guy is like a mixed dog or something" always cracks me up
Super looking forward to this series! This was great, Keep em comin
Heck yeah. I recently started playing the King's Indian Defense as my weapon against d4, and it's easily my weakest opening right now. This is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for to improve. Thanks boys!
"900s ate just 1500s with a heroin addiction." 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
game 1 0:46 as white
game 2 10:47 as black
game 3 16:06 as white
game 4 22:42 as white
game 5 29:20 as white
game 6 37:50 as black
game 7 40:39 as white
game 8 49:25 as black
man i love this channel so much, eric and aman you guys are such a goal scorers.
Awesome video series! I've been playing Pirc since I started playing chess 2 months ago and I'm currently around this level. So many good lessons just from the first episode alone :)
I love this series! The KID is my favorite opening and I learned a lot! Thanks, Chessbrah!
thank you for those videos, they’re really helping me out!🙏💖
I absolutely love these uploads! Keep it up Aman!
I started playing this straight after watching Aman’s lesson and the KIA and KID makes so much sense the way Aman teaches it!!! I’m looking fwd to more lessons but this video is pure GOLD!!! 🥇
I just continue watching this series over and over. Lots of learning opportunities here.
Entertainment and education - The one stop chess shop - Chessbrah!
love this series, love it love it! long time KID player i'm so excited for this
You are such a great teacher. I've learned a lot just by watching this video. I think I could already start playing it
i have been waiting for good tutorials with actual game play on this opening. thanks !!!!!
great series man, thanks.
this is an amazing video, when I play kings indian it almost never goes my way (LoL). love your vids guys thank you. watching all the way from Chicago!
You are the chosen one, for some reason I finally can play King's Indian after watching You Play. Thanks a lot brah.
38:05 so excited to finally see a Kings Indian and then shomaklein plays the game of his life.
Yes! Habits! Love these series...
Aman once borrowed 20$ from me. Instead of returning it, he asked for another 50. Don't support these guys.
my dude with the sub thanks and intertwined the blunder shoutout lmao. I need to watch more of your streams!
Aye cool I caught this one live! I remembered the knight blockader trick very useful info thx!
Great series!
“These 900 are 1500 that need to get off the sauce” 😂 so true I’m 1300 in rapid and 900 in blitz
I loved the building chess habits series. Thank you for all the content Aman
Love this instructional content.
Awesome that there is a new series, but I hope that the building plans also continues.
about time too...thank you....also do one only with gambits ,like eric rosen did....ur streams are the best cuz of your playing style n commentary
Psyched for this new series!
Yo Aman brah you're so funny, those last couple of games had me in hysterics, keep up the Canadian comedy 🤣
I’m pretty sure this is the fourth time watching this series. Thanks for the great content.
Glad you enjoy it!
oh nice, i hope this series goes on, i'm stuck at 1400-1500 with kings indian
I’ve been back playing about a year. I didn’t know what any opening was (literally - the French lived in France, and I had no idea what it was in the chessboard). So now I know what they are and I’m comfortable facing them all, but doing the KIA from the start would have been soooo much easier. 🤷🏻♂️
I only know kings indian and london opening, got me to about 2000 elo on lichess. I dont have the slightest of clue what are my opponents openings but it dont matter lol
@@Ism0Lait3la same lol
@@Ism0Lait3la did you master the gambits and tactics against those 2 openings
@@TheAuditorMoment I havent memorized any certain move orders but I have good understanding of the ideas in most positions
“Thanks kazuthegreat for the free knight” has made me laugh every time I watch this
Oh this is a perfect followup to habits. More awesomeness from Chess Brah
Lumping the knight in with the donos is savage
How do you play the kings indian atck with white when you start e4 if they go for the Scandinavian defense sir?
How does he have time to break down these positions, explain tactics, talk about general opening concepts, interact with chat, and still manage to not flag? Also this is insanely informative, I don’t really play fianchetto openings but it is very helpful to understand the tactics for when I play against them.
53:27 lmao thanks not just for teaching but for the laughs Aman 😂
Bro, when are you gonna upload new episode of this series?
He’s been clean for two moves!👏🤣
i am a chess player ...now a days i have a coach who is GM....who has stick to teaching me one opening for white and black ...plans in thr middlegasme of that opening ...how to manuever pieces in the opening ...how to execute the position ...and all that is free of cost ...salute you my GM coach Aman
thanks for this!
My favorite chess channel does it again! These series are so educational and also very entertaining.
Do a Hambleton defence spedrun!
Whomever is starting this series, this is the first opening i'm learning because it's versatile and usable on both sides of the boatd and I've already climbed 200 ELO with Aman's tips
Chillest chess content
Much love Bruhs, Aman, you're my favorite chess internet sage. Eric is badass and he's grown a lot too. But I like learning from you Aman. Top Notch my dude.
I'm up from 400 to 550/600 because of this video.
yes good style of video very informative with one opening and at my elo range
😆OMG what a first episode! Don’t get me wrong, though. Not putting down players pretty much my own rough estimated rating. Wonderful insights among the humor. Thx GM Hambleton🙏
that first game the lad put up a hell of a fight.
Thanks- brilliant!
Thanks, only recently found the series. Must say you should do a Chessable course on this , short of that , can I get the pgn file for the whole KIA series- so that it is easier to annotate while watching the videos. I would also analyse them in GM mode when sitting on the toilet seat 😂
16:04 this was my favourite instructive game for the first 5 moves or so
Thank you Aman for great content!!! 👍
I just started learning the KID 2 weeks ago, this is right on time for me
Nice idea for a speed run, I just wish it was QG with white and sicilian/nimzo or queens Indian with black..
43:10 So I'm guessing Nxe4 hopping for dxe4 d3 attacking the queen opening up the dark square Bishop with pressure on the tender f2 square. decent calculation from the 900 🤷🏿♂️
"Thanks kazuthegreat for the free knight" I'm fn dead 🤣
In this first game why not play Nxe4 instead of pawn takes? This way the bishop you are planning to put on g2 will be open later when you move your knight.
20:28 when your inner German conquers a new piece
The "knight is the best defender"-explanation was really helpful actually. This channel isn't known for its educational content but that was nice
building habits is the best educational chess series I’ve ever seen
@@zanedurante3709 You aint seen nothing then. Check out Naroditsky
@@mouwersor yeah I’ve already seen his as well-but I prefer the habits series since it’s more easily digestible and you can follow along very easily. Naro tries to explain too much and it’s unclear what you should be focusing on improving at a given level.
Where might a fan be able to meet the chessbrahs? Do you guys ever come to the states?
30:32 lol they thirsting for that H3 pawn like some hot supermodel
Brother, what happened tho the music ? London system style, unleash those headphones :}. Excellent upload.
Question: will you be uploading the full versions of these on the Chessbra Extra channel like the previous Building Habits series?
we didn't & don't plan to cut out much in this series so what youre seeing is our full version
The mate on JamTastesGood was beautiful especially considering he probably assumed he’d win on time.
Super excited about the KIA run!! 👏👏
Super slick forking at 36:45 👏👏👏👏👏
This channel and Danyas have helped me go from 1100 to 1400 OTB in 4 months.
Ive been chillin in 800-900 for some time now.
47:30 What about Be4 to protect the pawn? Bishop boii can't be attacked there, very solid defensive structure, doesn't make the enemy queen target the rook, the rook can now be used for something more worthwhile, etc.
Hell. Fucking. Yeah.
That’s what’s up
“Thanks kazuthegreat for the free knight” really got me
Bro! This video was so good. You talked through every move and the thought process behind it, gave some hat tricks to counter a lot of pocket moves players make, while simultaneously making fun of heroine addicts and giving me an ab workout from the sheer entertainment. I’m your new fan!
He doesn't talk through every move or the thought process of every move....idiot
Top quality content this 👍
Why doesn't Eric (pronounced in Quebecois accent) do any of these building habits and training vids? Not saying I don't love Aman, I do, but just wondering why Eric doesn't
Aman looking like he's about to ask me to prom
Just for whoever...the true comedy comes at 49:30 and beyond.
Best part of the video
"HE WAS CLEAN FOR 2 MOVES....HES RELAPSING!!!" LMFAO
Jamtastesgood here, knight takes e4 was a mouse slip but the timing of that move was impeccable
Why is 3: d3 considered such a bad move? It reinforces the center at least.
‘900s are just 1500s with a heroin addiction’. Lol aman is genius!
Top quality content
I miss educational content from this channel. Building habits was amazing!
Yall Canadians are some Lowkey hilarious ppl
"900's are just 1500's with a heroin addiction."
No double fianchetto. Everyone is playing it against me.
Aman you’re r the goat of chess streamers and Eric your the goat of rapid Chessbrah. Both of you are awesome.
They should allow speed runners to be one color for every game. Then I want to see a speed run where you play The Hambleton every game!
