Great tent only 1.4kg if you swap out the cheap pegs. It's been bombproof in all conditions and is as good as my Msr and DD not to mention how low profile it is great tent for the Uk and a real bargain.
Great review! I just bought one for stealth camping when I'm not on Dartmoor! Go Outdoors has them on sale at the moment for £50! With my discount I got it for £45 delivered 😮
great video mate, one of the best guides i have seen for this tent... Thank you, i just picked one up
For such a low sub count, the quality of this vid is awesome! Keep it up 👍
Thanks for the feedback bud really appreciate it! I try and keep everything 4k and strive to give good quality.. all the best mate!
thank you mate i just went out got 1 of theese . added your channel
Brilliant!! As you can tell by a lot of the comments it's a great 1 man tent 😁 I hope you enjoy it and thank you for the support bud. All the best and stay safe
just got myself one for 50 quid! cant wait to use it
Smashing it with the bargains! You'll absolutely love it mate 😁 hope it treats you as well as mine has me! Thanks for the comment bud. All the best, Adam
Only downside with these tents , is that you have to put it up inner first , my Vango goes up as one piece , so no wet inner on rainy days , good channel mate have subscribed .
Hey Bob 100% right on that point I tend to leave the outer draped over the inner whilst putting it up that way I don't get rain inside but it's great when your tent has that option. Thanks for the feedback mate glad you're enjoying the videos more to come very soon 😀
Excellent no-nonsense guide. Thank you ☺️
Top quality review!
Really great video. Super high quality. Exactly the information and camera angles I needed. Just ordered one of these! Thanks! :)
Hey Mike thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! I'm really glad the video helped you and gave you what you'd been looking for. Hope you enjoy many adventures with the little beauty! All the best,, Adam
I'm tempted to get this tent as a slightly more luxurious option to a hooped bivvy, while still being very stealthy. Nice review, thanks for sharing 👍
Definitely more luxurious than a hooped bivvi! Couldn't recommend this beauty more if I tried 😁 thanks very much for watching mate.
Good video keep up the good work
Thanks very much bud! Really appreciated 😁
Bomb proof tent. Tested in stormy wet conditions and it's brilliant. Bargain.
I couldn't agree with you more bud! Thanks for commenting 😁 glad you're enjoying the tent too! Stay safe
@Andy B I'm 6.1 and fit in the new phoxx 1 with my alpkit numo sleeping pad. Its longer and has much better materials. It also seems slightly higher than the original too.
@Andy B you'll fit in the phoxx 2 no problem.
Nice little look at there , cheers 👍
Hey mate thanks a lot for the kindle words! Glad you found it helpful 😁
Your welcome. I got that tent and will hopefully be using it soon. Take care mate 👌
Very good review
Thanks pal! Appreciate the positive feedback 😁
Great video, thanks
Thanks for watching glad you enjoyed it 😁
Just bought it.
@@grzechorachon legend! Hope you enjoy it bud 😁
@@ArbourOutdoors cheers, off to French Alps on motorbike trip 😃😃😃
@@grzechorachon hope you have an awesome time! 👍👍
Thanks for watching this video! What are your thoughts on this tent? Let us know if you have one or are thinking about getting one below....
@@Lee-sj8tj Sorry about the late reply bud, you tube held your comment as spam! really glad that you like the tent and tomorrow we have a video of it used in a wild camp! all the best. Adam
@@Lee-sj8tj have you tried using the spare door section as a storage area?
@@Lee-sj8tj the only way you could possibly get around it would be setting up a lightweight tarp tent with some walking poles and using it as a storage area obviously at the expense of extra weight.. either that or like you say go extra ultralight! Thanks for the comments mate hope to speak in the future
@@Lee-sj8tj If you use a black rubbish bag to put your backpack in you can leave it outside the tent (just make sure it's sealed well), this is an old bivi bag user method.
@@Lee-sj8tj Glad to be of help.
Hi, very roughly could you tell me what the length and diameter of the packed down tent with all pole and pegs is? It looks bigger than I expected
Hi Justin, I have gone and checked this out for you and the size that I last packed it down to is 30cm by 15cm that's including the pegs and poles wrapped inside I think it would be a struggle to get it packed any smaller than that. Hope this video has been of some help to you, thanks for watching and Happy Camping!
What about the tie off bits on the inside of the outer to attach it to the poles? Does this not have them as the phoxx 2 fas?
I wish these were available in Canada, none of the UK suppliers seem to ship here. Thanks for the review tho, it's a great design by the look's of it
Mate I wish they could be shipped to you too! Such an awesome tent ⛺. However I have to be honest with you there's a lot I can't get shipped to me from Canada you guys make some killer outdoor equipment! All the best from England.. 🤙
Got mine for £49 delivered from Blacks 3month ago.
Great purchase mate!! Hope you enjoy it its worth every penny 😁 all the best, Adam
I was lucky to pick up this tent at GO Outdoors for £35! Bargain
Hi Ben that's awesome!! You got an absolute steal 🤣 have you used it yet? and if so how are you finding it? All the best and stay safe
Arbour Outdoors yeah its a good tent for the £££ ive used it twice and always use it with a tarp over the top and a small tarp infront
On the door so i get a little porch for changing and eating.
@@bensetter7894 yeah that's by far the best way to use it! just so you have an area to get your boots on in the morning 😁 really glad you're enjoying your absolute bargain of a tent! ⛺ and a huge thank you for watching.. All the best mate
Has anyone else had an issue with the smaller pole feeling too big to fit into the fasterners? i feel like I'm going to snap it everytime I use it.
Definitely.
I actually snapped mine trying to get the pole out of the fastener. Be careful!
Got mine for £50 from blacks just the other day.
Brilliant what a bargain! Hope you enjoy it bud 😁 let me know how you get on with it. All the best and stay safe
I can see it would be a bugger to pitch in rain unless you throw the flysheet over it. I have one and I wouldn't recommend it. A one person tent should be quick and easy to put up. This is neither.
It is unless you're disabled !
