Have you tried boiling water with a lid?

I can see it would be a bugger to pitch in rain unless you throw the flysheet over it. I have one and I wouldn't recommend it. A one person tent should be quick and easy to put up. This is neither.

Can you recommend some gas for this as I'm bit confused got it online from go outdoors but Says "Only to be used with Butane-Propane Mix Gas Cartridge 230g." So just wanna make sure I get the right one 🤣

This is the only model to buy. It is the only model which is galvanized and has a baked on powder coating. Other models / colors are paint over non galvanized metal. Nice video.

Literally just bought the Bistro 3. They must of taken your comment on the door compartment to heart. Bistro 3 door opens the reverse to the one you demonstrate in the video. How long do the canisters of gas tend to last, please?

Just recently bought one and after 1 use the next time there was zero flame, there was still heat but no visable flame. Any idea's the problem? Cheers for any help

My burner flame reduces exactly like that. It's done it on at least 8 original campingaz cartridges, and now on a 3rd party gas canister. Does anyone know why? Thanks.

Great tent only 1.4kg if you swap out the cheap pegs. It's been bombproof in all conditions and is as good as my Msr and DD not to mention how low profile it is great tent for the Uk and a real bargain.

Boiling speeds up 2x when using a lid.

The boil test was a fail because the hot point of the flame is not even under the mug, you are just wasting gas this way. You have to put on a container large enough for the flame to be AT LEAST 1/3 diameter from the outer rim to ensure better heat transfer

Went online last night and saw it in the sale for £27 so nabbed one immediately for pick up today.... Now just seen your review from two years ago?!?!

I didn't understand the bit about the notch at the top of the cannister as the video didn't mention that. Otherwise it was a good video

Nicely put together review. One point i should mention, in the 1 litre boil test , if you use a wind shield ( or inside etc), and a container with a larger bottom surface area , it boils much quicker ( 9-10 mins)

You can boil 1 liter of water in 10 min If you want to make scrambled eggs, you can do it in 4 minuteI really recommend the equipment that is compact and eaysy to use so if you are looking for a quick solution for camping cooking 😁 it is cheap and reliable in a tent

Has anyone else had an issue with the smaller pole feeling too big to fit into the fasterners? i feel like I'm going to snap it everytime I use it.
