1:27:32 on tank gun bore evacuator. The fumes from a fired round get toxic. To prevent gassing the crew they developed this device post WW2. As the fired shell travels down the barrel some of the air in front of the shell gets shoved into the bore evacuator. As the round passes the device the compressed air is at first further compressed by the blast (and fumes) from the burned propellant. As the round leaves the barrel the over pressure from the extractor starts pushing the gasses towards the barrel. The breach will open in a second more or less of time but by then the fumes are greatly reduced.
Oh no! Your whiteboard video's were the reason for me to follow your channel! I loved the deep dive explanations & ofc the real life sonar stuff! You danced on the line a lot of times and you are still here, just keep it up & looking forward to the 2022 story 😎
In the early 1980s, the Air Force Office of Scientific Research(AFOSR) was funding many research programs in the engineering disciplines and physical science departments at various universities, in support of the Defense Department's "Star Wars" program. This program gave senior-level undergraduates and beginning graduate students in Physics the opportunity to participate in applied research under approved programs during their summer breaks and to form connections with possible doctoral research advisors. One of the interesting research areas was theoretical and applied programs in logistics and management.
Her father was the target, paranoid as he is, he switched cars with his daughter at the last moment, what does it say about him as a father who puts his daughter where he himself does not dare to sit.
I believe The_Chieftain has a video on the bore evacuator if you're curious. Basically, fire gun > fumes gather in the evac > breech opens > hot fumes pull clean air from inside and pushes fumes out.
On the tank that square patch is neither armor nor sensor but rather a patch that shows up differently on IR specifically thermal sights. It's for IFF.
Speaking of the CRAM, a guy I was stationed with in Jacksonville FL ended up working on those. He was the same rate as myself, Aviation Electronics Technician (AT).
My first job out of high school was as an overnight door greeter at a Walmart in Las Vegas, NV from 2010 to 2011. It was… interesting… had the police there once a week catching shoplifters, and that’s including the time I had to deal with a… no joke… “seeing eye shake” a guy brought in… manager put his foot down on that one, made the guy leave it in the car. The stories I could tell from being 19 and 20… since 20-22 I can say nothing more than I worked at the Nellis Test Range. …other than when the RAF visited for Red Flag, they were the only people I ever saw eating Lima beans… and HOLY SHIT did they ever EAT LIMA BEANS!!! I’m just glad I didn’t have to share a cockpit with them, or have to be on the radio with them since it would’ve probably sounded like a Monty Python sketch.
I definitely noticed the missing whiteboard videos, very interesting stuff about sound propagation underwater and that sort of stuff. Tbh though i highly doubt that Ireland will ever get submarines let alone try and get me into one of those coffins to poke and prod me for the tiny bit of info from them that I can remember.
I see ...... now I understand why the old Cold Waters and several other playsists from the Sub Brief channel had suddenly disappeared. Right at the moment when I realized that these playlists were suddenly gone, my first reaction: "I wonder if either the FBI or the Naval intel or both had abducted Aaron and processed him through a treadmill of interrogations spiced up with any number of 'special treatments'." Whew! I am glad that you have been doing okay, although I still miss these old playlists. If you still feel very upset, perhaps revive the Russian campaigns, at some point preferably as the captain of an Alfa and turn the North Atlantic and its adjacent waters into a huge NATO graveyard. :P By the way, you think Russia is a declining power? I would argue that the US is also a declining power. What the US has is it had a huge headstart right after the end of World War 2 in which the US was the only power that was unscathed. Bertrand Russell once said, "War does not determine who is right - only who is left." In 1945, the US alone had 1/2 of the global GDP which was a HUGE advantage. However, the US can live off of its past glory for only so long. Meanwhile, there are upstart powers like China and India, but I think the timing is not so great for them. Had they become modernized 50 years earlier when the world economic condition was less malevolent, they might have had a much greater shot at becoming toe-to-toe with the US. Take China, for example. While its rapid rise since the 1990s is nothing short of spectacular, its fertility rate is tanking. Hint: South Korea might serve as a preview of the kind of long-term problems China will face. South Korea now has the world's worst fertility rate. A lot of this has to do with experiencing so much socio-politico-economic changes in a very short period of time. Furthermore, South Korean economic rise is very unbalanced--i.e., increasing disparity of wealth, widespread of exploitation of its workers ever by the American standards, younger generations seeing no future, lousy work-life balance, etc. By the way, China's social safety net is even worse than that of South Korea, even though South Korea's social safety net is among the worst in the OECD. (Although South Korea's healthcare system is good.) This means, China cannot prop up its economy by encouraging domestic consumption the same way the US can. Anemic social safety net means you have to save a considerable portion of your income for both emergencies and retirement. In other words, the more you are forced to save, the less you can consume.
Where does he talk about why he removed the old CW stuff? What is the timestamp? I heard it was removed by some angry karens or something according to comments on other videos. Thanks for the help.
Airline tickets .... I'd missed connections overseas (I won't say where) and had to buy on short notice a new ticket ... business class ... it was something well north of $2000 ... that was about 30 years ago.
Building muscle mass to burn fat is a thing....my brother in law was proposing this to folks for over a decade. My feet and ankles went out b4 I got out basically can't run have trouble enuf trying to walk...the weight gain has not helped. Getting ready to diet again and will have to stay on it long term as I've a short term goal of losing 40# and longer of losing 90# ... gonna suck no matter what plan I go with
Thing about Dugin's daughter, first off most likely was committed by some political force inside Russia rather than Ukraine as Dugin has been on the outside looking on Putin's inner circle since circa 2015. The Foundations of Geopolitics had some influence within the Russian inner circles and certainly used for internal propaganda during the 2000's, but once he published The Fourth Political Theory his star has diminished within the Kremlin up to the point where he was removed as department head at a University in Moscow. But the assassination attempt would fall under the rules of the Spy Game rather than the laws of War. A spy is just a criminal with a government badge with a mandate to go to other countries and break their laws. Usually the rule is wives or children under 18, but there are exceptions to that rule. Here, though, she wasn't a child. She was a full grown adult engaged in propaganda activities. It's not like she was 12 and was killed on her way home from school.
Navy ET school is top notch some army might compare and some USAF but mostly not. Reason if it breaks at sea you mostly got to be able to repair it at sea and circuit board level repairs aren't taught to everyone sadly.
About costs of flights, it's all about gas costs. US use an extremely cheap avgas that isnt compatible with the rest of the world. So, as long as you fly within US states, it's cheap, when you start to go abroad, it's $$$ AF ! BUT ! Outside US to Outside US is relatively "OK" Paris-Melbourne (or Tokyo) is around 1000€ (even if the flight is longer)
I don't think that's possible with the game's AI maybe, but I've had many instances where your sub is immediately detected and fired at when you load into an encounter. It just takes a minute for the torp to go active as it closes.
At the start of the video, you activate silent running, and i think saying, deploying towed array. Does this game have and towed array you have to activate ? it seems i can not fint it in the shortcut layout in the options.
Dugins daughter was the same breed of ultranatiinalist as her father. I would have preferred her in court. But dead us better then still spilling hate.
You are very naive if you think families are off limits. My first inclination would be to go after the family as opposed to the primary. The psychological value is invaluable. One of my experiences a few years ago was dealing with a group of 20-something’s with big mouths and a bit too pushy, physically. They wouldn’t back down so I smashed the head of one of the girlfriends into a wall, knocking her stone cold. The big mouth boyfriend freaked out, I excused myself and walked out. Never underestimate doing something your antagonist isn’t expecting, the shock value gives you the out.
Bro, keep that shit to yourself. That's loser behavior. Targeting family is for cowards. Justify it however you want. If that is really how you view the world then go help Rhodesia retake their capital.

If this wire breaks we are screwed …

Watching you over the last few years. I can see that you have made progress already. Keep up the work outs you're doing great

Cold Waters is oddly comforting lol
Finally Cold waters again! 🤗
Finally? He's posted videos for three weeks now loool

I flew my 3 person family to Singapore and back for 1500 about 5 years ago, deals can be found.
Watching this reminds me of Sgt Schultz on Hogans Heroes, "I know nothing"
I used to work at Walmart until they started to try to get me into another job that I never would want
waiting for the fun run vicktor 60kn run lol fire all tube run fun
If you can't run, go on a fast march! I do 5.3 miles daily.

Might be a mod
Towed array is deployed automatically at low speeds. Don't remember quite but keep your eye on the LF Towed value to double check.
You need to fire torps straight out, not at 90 degree angles
Dugins daughter was the same breed of ultranatiinalist as her father. I would have preferred her in court. But dead us better then still spilling hate.
Please do some dotmod.
Get a regular bycicle, way easier on your joints. Best of luck.
