My QA department was all but 20 people strong and we were able to push patches even during beta mostly bug free. The issue comes from the fact that they really aren't well versed in large scale development (their only experience was previously a unity browser shooter) and their entire game is made up of a cluster of spaghetti code (in Nikita's own words). If they wanted to hire experts they could, but most of them are outside of Russia so they won't do that. Stop being coy and running defense for them, people pay them money for the product, upwards of 240 dollars for unheard edition which is ridiculous; and they have a right to be critical, we are consumers not beta testers. Putting 'Beta' before the title doesn't make the practice kosher

Arena leveling was the only reason I bothered maxing last wipe. I always stop at around 39 because tasks get annoying and take place on maps I do t bother playing anymore. So for some people arena link is kinda needed.
People with little time have to be able to grind effectively without wasting hours trying to accomplish a mission with all the inconveniences of pvp, from bugs to cheaters alike. If you go for last hero in arena you get to lvl 30 in a few days, a player that plays few hours a week and is an average would take months unless very lucky. Also the rewards from arena are a big boon, especially for this wipe. The second i'll feel left behind, i'm switching to arena to fill the gap and unlock traders.

That same sound glitch happened to me on woods at usec camp too. After I won a 3v1, the last one nading himself and then the sound went off. I got geared to the teeth, new edition player super scar, good armors. The works. Then I lay down somewhere to disconnect and come back. Then I accidently abandoned raid and lost it all. This game sucks.
It’s the same old game with a new coat of lipstick. I randomly got kicked from my scav the other day. When I restarted the game I couldn’t re enter the raid. It ended my gaming night.
Without flea market, everyone that has lvl 1 or 2 traders can never put a competitive kit together against those with max traders running around with LPVO scopes, M80, and lvl 5 armors. The flea is the equalizer.. If they removed all lvl 5 armor and 40+ pen ammo from traders across the board, then we could discuss the trader/flea balance
Usually it does not surprise me when a buggy launch occurs with bsg. But even in pve mode, the level of broken, performance, and bugs wise is pretty nutty following this wipe. Never seen it this bad, not even close (only played since 2020, but still).

Loot lord not living up to the height leaving that bag, m4 and azimut from the PMC. Could’ve easily ditched the insured rig, run his azimut, put the day pack in your bag and bring the M4/mp133 in the bag. Especially considering these are all valuable stuff this early (m4 all the time tbh) Mp133 doesn’t run out of stock anyways now too. Waste of an m4. That and the 2nd raid's big bag when yours is insured. Those are super valuable stuff, guess more for the scavs lol
I'd like to dissent, overall feels like i can track sounds reasonably well, but stairs are still a big blunder on bsg side. I got butchered by a dude in G0 that came up from under the dshk building stairs, i heard him only when he got a single floor below me, and i didn't even had the time to realize if it was coming from out the stairs or below. Also saw lvndmark had a pretty worrying interaction on custom, where a dude sprinting 15m in front of him outside the warehouse with the chemical van was making no sound.
10:00 I think it would be kind of cool if there were different difficulties you could pick when creating your character. So there'd be normal difficulty where it's just as it is now, and then a hardcore difficulty where flea is disabled for you but you get better quests rewards and better stuff from traders. That way both sides win. Want to be a loot goblin? Go ahead. Want to just grind quests and not really worry about money? No problem.
Speaking from a pure design perspective, they game-ify the systems for the sake of "Balance" but it makes no sense and only hinders users with less experience with the game, in a game that already requires hours of experience OR a wiki page to progress. Same for the "Can't drop items in raid" thing, which is stupid in a game where you are encouraged to work with friends to accomplish your goals. Does my toilet paper dematerialize when i take it out of my MBSS? If the FIR thing made any sense it would be better. There's no logical reason for items being "Found in raid". They should make some thing that at least makes sense in the "Hardcore realistic" way the game is portrayed to be. If anything, found in raid should NOT be useable, since they're technically more run down, dirty and pre-used. They should instead have some sort of... "import" feature where you can buy or trade any item for "pristine" versions from traders, which could then be used for tasks/hideout. It's stupid for traders not taking in items not looted on dirty scavs, as opposed to stuff you already had on your body for a single raid or that you bought from another player. And more stupidly, i doubt your PMC would be like "Oh no, toilet paper not found in raid, not using to wipe ass". "Want to build christmas tree but decoration bought on flea. Is no good, not enough christmas spirit since not found in raid" Rant over, love you daddy!
Almost like the only thing keeping this game alive is the twitch/youtube content, even after all of the objective fuckups and controversies. Gamers will never learn, and content creators will always be looking for the easy popular game. Not to imply that the gameplay was bad at all, but how many more "Tarkov Wipe" vids will people get before they realize.
Tarkov is not my favorite game anymore not the last 3-4 wipes i only was interested playing the first 2 months but i love watching youre tarkov videos aqua partly because i like the game but mostly because youre a funny guy keep going strong my lord Maybe this wipe is better for me cause it progesses slower My favorite thing would be to remove the flee completly

124% of my deaths are from cheaters im getting killed in the hideout they even stole my christmas tree and told prapor i snitched on him, now the traders hate me and usecs told me im not part of the crew anymore im stuck as a perma scav

It is not always the case that i am able to tell but when i go to view profile and bro is 20 hours in with full kit and 100+ pmc kills already you know he is rage-hacking. Those accounts have all killed me in obvious ways and they account for litterally 75% of my deaths out of the 36 pmc raids ive played this wipe(i hit lvl 15 btw). I quit playing this game 2 wipes ago because the cheating was so bad, and the bugs, and the horrible server quality. I decided to play this wipe because of all the nice little quality of life changes and the new game engine update. Servers even seem a little better. The cheaters however feel like they make up a quarter to half of almost every single raid i load into. I have never ever expierenced so many BS deaths in my time. Ppl have god mode, loot hacks, esp. Its basically unplayable. So continue to be sarcastic, go ahead, that just tells me your a timmy who will learn eventually or your a cheater yourself who likes to ruin the game for everyone else. Both the quests and the flea both are ass and this game gets worse every wipe if you disagree you’re delusional an extreme minority of the players will get max traders by end wipe even less kappa and still least of all the light house keeper and most gear is locked behind all of those things less than 1 percent of players will even experience using the gear or items that are fun the games plagued by cheaters shitty servers and a mundane grind that people with real lives and responsibilities will never be able to complete this game sucks balls and I’m ashamed I payed for it.

I'd like to dissent, overall feels like i can track sounds reasonably well, but stairs are still a big blunder on bsg side.
I got butchered by a dude in G0 that came up from under the dshk building stairs, i heard him only when he got a single floor below me, and i didn't even had the time to realize if it was coming from out the stairs or below.
Also saw lvndmark had a pretty worrying interaction on custom, where a dude sprinting 15m in front of him outside the warehouse with the chemical van was making no sound.
10:00 I think it would be kind of cool if there were different difficulties you could pick when creating your character.
So there'd be normal difficulty where it's just as it is now, and then a hardcore difficulty where flea is disabled for you but you get better quests rewards and better stuff from traders.
That way both sides win. Want to be a loot goblin? Go ahead. Want to just grind quests and not really worry about money? No problem.

Speaking from a pure design perspective, they game-ify the systems for the sake of "Balance" but it makes no sense and only hinders users with less experience with the game, in a game that already requires hours of experience OR a wiki page to progress. Same for the "Can't drop items in raid" thing, which is stupid in a game where you are encouraged to work with friends to accomplish your goals. Does my toilet paper dematerialize when i take it out of my MBSS?
If the FIR thing made any sense it would be better. There's no logical reason for items being "Found in raid". They should make some thing that at least makes sense in the "Hardcore realistic" way the game is portrayed to be. If anything, found in raid should NOT be useable, since they're technically more run down, dirty and pre-used. They should instead have some sort of... "import" feature where you can buy or trade any item for "pristine" versions from traders, which could then be used for tasks/hideout.
It's stupid for traders not taking in items not looted on dirty scavs, as opposed to stuff you already had on your body for a single raid or that you bought from another player.
And more stupidly, i doubt your PMC would be like "Oh no, toilet paper not found in raid, not using to wipe ass". "Want to build christmas tree but decoration bought on flea. Is no good, not enough christmas spirit since not found in raid"

Almost like the only thing keeping this game alive is the twitch/youtube content, even after all of the objective fuckups and controversies. Gamers will never learn, and content creators will always be looking for the easy popular game. Not to imply that the gameplay was bad at all, but how many more "Tarkov Wipe" vids will people get before they realize.

It will never happen but my biggest wish is for them to do a wipe focused on bug fixes and optimisation.

Im getting 60 to 80 fps on customs and woods and i have. 4090 13900k its crazy im reading on reddit 7800x3ds are getting it too.
Well at least now i know a large amount of players i will meet will struggle to even track me on the reticle while i hover over the 30 fps mark.... most of the times 😂

I did 1 raid and got absolutely rage hacked 10 seconds after spawn. Dont waste your time on this piece of shit
99% of my deaths throughout the years are due to cheaters. In fact, the only way i could ever get killed is by a cheater.
124% of my deaths are from cheaters im getting killed in the hideout they even stole my christmas tree and told prapor i snitched on him, now the traders hate me and usecs told me im not part of the crew anymore im stuck as a perma scav

It is not always the case that i am able to tell but when i go to view profile and bro is 20 hours in with full kit and 100+ pmc kills already you know he is rage-hacking.
I posted this comment because its been REALLY BAD this wipe. Those accounts have all killed me in obvious ways and they account for litterally 75% of my deaths out of the 36 pmc raids ive played this wipe(i hit lvl 15 btw).
I quit playing this game 2 wipes ago because the cheating was so bad, and the bugs, and the horrible server quality.
I decided to play this wipe because of all the nice little quality of life changes and the new game engine update. Servers even seem a little better.
The cheaters however feel like they make up a quarter to half of almost every single raid i load into. I have never ever expierenced so many BS deaths in my time. Ppl have god mode, loot hacks, esp. Its basically unplayable.
So continue to be sarcastic, go ahead, that just tells me your a timmy who will learn eventually or your a cheater yourself who likes to ruin the game for everyone else.

Both the quests and the flea both are ass and this game gets worse every wipe if you disagree you’re delusional an extreme minority of the players will get max traders by end wipe even less kappa and still least of all the light house keeper and most gear is locked behind all of those things less than 1 percent of players will even experience using the gear or items that are fun the games plagued by cheaters shitty servers and a mundane grind that people with real lives and responsibilities will never be able to complete this game sucks balls and I’m ashamed I payed for it.
