There is a massive Capcom sale happening on the eShop. I just wanted to let people know. $2.99 each for Ace Attorney, Monster Hunter, Resident Evil, Mega Man, and Street Fighter.
I saw yesterday. It's insane!! Now I can play Ace Attorney games. I would have never bought them at regular price. 2.99 I will get them all
Doesn't cover all the Ace Attorney games though, You're gonna have to buy a bunch of them on 3DS, including the crossover with Professor Layton.
I saw those prices and went to the European eshop thinking they would have done the same. Well no, most of the companies forgot about us and games are still full price. Damn it.
Kind of wish I didn't own them all already. 😅
@@nworder4lifeI think the only games that aren't covered are Investigations, and the Great Ace Attorney. The argument could be made about Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright... but in my opinion it's more of a Layton game, than a Ace Attorney game.
Funny, I actually own Rhythm Thief physically and bought it at a local store that sold it at $15 as well as one of the Prof. Layton games also at around $15 since they kind of wanted to get rid of their 3DS library of games and have been struggling to do so. Might make a pretty penny though, I think it best to sell them at reasonable price once I am done playing them.
If only more people thought like you, and not like collector youtubers saying "Oh well its normal its rare, heres my collection, did you know those cost 200 to 300 bucks now ?" like its normal, like videogames are some kinda long term investment. Same for me, the day I decide (and it will come) to get rid of my collections, I will sell them at a reasonable price, either as much as I bought them or as much as they cost on release. To me, thats the limit you should put on buying a game : never reward someone sellin over the release price.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate these vids man. Thank you so much. Thank you for being you. Long Live WiiU and 3DS!!! Gone too soon
Was just trying to plot out my digital 3ds haul strategy! Love the little chart you add at the side of the screen!
Yeah, even I who have been working with the eshop for the past YEAR, am swamped with stuff to purchase still, so I figured a lot of people must be as well. Great that you enjoy the format and find it useful! Thanks for commenting Bob!
Great list!!! I have been following lists like these since the announcement was made, and been following a lot of the sales. Atlus made some big sales too, I managed to get all the games I wanted that I did not own physically.
I managed to get Yokai watch 2 psychic specters for $40 physically about a year ago, at a small video game store.
Thanks for the video! I don’t mod my 3DS’s so I’m madly trying to get every game I want that I don’t already have. I think I’m all set now, with mostly physicals, but some digital too. Watching your video, I don’t see anything I missed that I want. 🙂
Wow! Thanks for the videos. I’ve been wanting to go through and find any and every worthwhile 3DS game 👌😁
Thanks for doing these videos Arthur. Gonna go crazy today on some purchases since this month is the end of the e shop for 3ds
I appreciate this list, I'm spending like crazy and trying to figure out which games to get physically and which games to get digitally(my memory card has like 75,000 blocks left))
In case anyone's wondering about the lack of Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition, the game itself (I believe you can still buy the DLC) is no longer available on the eShop (got pulled on 27.02) and therefore doesn't count towards this list. Was wondering about that myself until I remembered that. Great list as always!
Yeah I was damn lucky to get the collector's edition. I remember the pre-orders sold out so quickly it was ridiculous.
@@ladynikkie I was lucky too, I don't even remember how I pre-ordered it, but the lady at Gamestop was surprised their store even had 1, and it was mine.
I can confirm that the DLC is still available. Just downloaded Revelations for my physical copy of Birthright. I've also heard that the paths carry over between physical copies, so you only need to purchase Revelations once, even if you own two physical copies. Not sure if that applies to the other DLC or not.
@@jardex2275 DLC is tied to your NNID, as long as you play on the same console (or do a System Transfer) you'll always have it, with as many cartridges you need to use.
Holy moly. Glad I picked up the Louvre guide physically when I visited the museum in 2014.
I'm surprised by the price hike of Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr's Journey. I got it physically two years ago for $15, they were on clearance because no one wanted to buy the game. It was considered a flop because no one was interested in a remake on the 3DS.
One quick correction, as far as I can see, Dragon Quest VIII is not $19.99, but $39.99 on the eShop right now. Not sure if there was a sale at time of filming but I can't find a current one. It's factored into the price difference, so I assume it was just a simple typo! (fingers crossed that it'll have a sale before the stores close down)
Yes, it was a copy paste gone wrong. Will make a card that shows up in the corner to correct this. Thank you very much for pointing this out ESC, really appreciated, and thanks for watching! :D
@@FromTheVoidGames You are welcome! Great vid btw, this series has been really helpful to clear everything up and prevent FOMO.
I WISH that game was twenty bucks on the eShop though. 😩
Also noticed the Add On DLC for Mario World Golf has been removed from the E-Shop in the UK/Ireland 😞
@@colmmccallion9204 Oh shit, really? I was kinda thinking about that dlc. Damn, well, that sucks but thank you very much for this information otherwise I could have been fooled.
Thanks for this! There is a sale right now for capcom games you might want to cover!
So glad you covered Shantae and the Pirate's Curse. It's thee most underrated indie title to currently exist and deserves all the recognition it could get.
Wow, well done on this dude, this looks to be a really solid video. Good thing I’m able to get most of the more expensive ones except from SMT games apart from the ones that went on sale I suppose because 1. Getting them all would not be possible before the closure without sacrificing other things or having some miracle Capcom EU sale and 2. My interest is placed more in other series, like Professor Layton and Yo-Kai Watch. I am happy to report I am on the epilogue of the Professor Layton Vs Phoenix Wright after 20 hours or so. I shall most definitely get the free dlc then and after that I’ll make sure to get the daily puzzles for all but the latest PL game on 3ds which was ported to Switch. I shall definitely follow the rest of your dlc guide to ensure I get any other free dlc that is within games I definitely have or plan to get.
Not sure if anyone called it out: all of Capcom’s games except VC titles and Monster Hunter Stories are on sale for $2.99 each on the US eshop.
All of these lists have been a REAL help these weeks, thanks for this hard work, really
NOW, that you have covered almost all the catalogue, now that you cant change or edit the videos... it would have been great if you said wich games have 3d compatibility and wich dont. For example the 2 Dragon Quest games. DQ7 has 3D, but sadly DQ8 is only in 2D, choose your devices accordingly!
Thankfully Aside from (Metroid) all the games that I wanted off this list I already have.
Thank you for the video.
So glad I have most of the games on the list only like 3 or 4 if I you count the louve (I hered you can tour with louve 3ds that why the game was made lol) I'm glad I had this channel as resouse to feature out the games I want from the eshop before it closes with no regrets
Hey From The Void Games, thank you for the coverage of the closing e-shops, these days. I wished I found your channel sooner, so informative. If you have to take an educated guess, when the switch is gonna pull the plug, what games will skyrocket in price? I do hope to see a video of yours about that, some day...
Thats a great idea for a video! Will start thinking on the games. A lot of 1st party stuff will skyrocket, but more interesting will be the indie exclusives. The switch surpassed al other consoles in terms of indie support, so many developers decided to release only on switch and steam, nothing else, and then they released physical copies or switch in limited quantities which will be great candidates tfor price spikes. A few off the top of my head: Baba is You; Everhood; Itta; Kunai; Panzer Paladin; Songbird's Symphony and Steel Assault.
Great that you liked the coverage, Chunny! Will keep talking about interesting and lesser known games!
It's interesting to see the price differences in America compared to Europe.
I'm from Australia and a lot of the PAL game prices are only around $10-$20 AUD more expensive, hence why I'm not buying those digital and I'm buying DLCs now. I have plans in the future to buy those games physical (Like Mario Golf, Ever Oasis, Kirby's Extra Epic Yarn to name a few)
By the way Shantae and the pirate’s curse is now on sale in Europe 50% off! That is amazing, specially since I bought this game 2 days a go full price…
I don't get the argument that running "unusual" software on your 3ds causes it to break faster. How does this even make any sense? There is no overclocking going to cause any addition wear on the system, software is just software, be it official one or hacked one, it doesn't matter to the system itself
Yea I would like more info on this personally. My 3DS has been hacked for over 2 years now and I've had no problems except with PS1 emulation being sluggish.
I'm glad I purchased almost all these games when they originally came out!
I looked up most these games a few days ago after hearing the E-Shop closure news.. never have been so depressed seeing those prices... digital and physical.
hshop, friend.
That Louvre guide is apparently still being used to this day for the site itself. Sis went to Europe for a vacation and she told tale of wandering about the place with 3ds in hand.
I remember buying the collector's edition of persona Q2 and SMT strange journey redux. Those was definitely one of the last 3D has games I ever bought. But 3DS was truly a gold mine for RPGs
I am not sure when this video was made or when it went on sale but as of this message shantae and the pirate's curse is currently on sale for $9.99 until the eshop closes on 3/27/23 which is 50% off from the price you originally stated in this video!
OMG I love you thank you so so much!!!
NOTE FOR AUSTRALIAN VIEWERS: SMT Overclocked is delisted in Australia digitally, only the patch is downloadable
Another great video. About the modding and pirating games. I bought my Majora's mask 3ds when it came out and I pretty much own all the games in the video physically, from buying them in stores over the years (PAL copies since I'm in Belgium), I've bought quite a few digital games on that one and all the dlc I need for these games and others. But.. I did just buy a Metroid 3ds which I modded. Mostly to play games that aren't available to me like Gotta Protectors and fantranslated games like Inazuma Eleven 3 which I also bought physicals of. Other then those I did pirate some virtual console games and some DSiWare things, because it is not feasible for me to still spend over a 1000 on those games which barely go in sale, especially here.
I heavily recommend the Yokai watch titles, especially considering psychic specters, 3, and blasters, oh, and I also did get Mario, golf, and kid icarus uprising
Let me tell you, getting fragrant story was so difficult to find out as I found out through a random article and it just so happened to be releasing at the time. Suffice to say I'm glad I got to it.
One thing to consider with Persona Q is that it has a lot of faulty carts that no longer work. I actually had to buy a digital copy after my physical died. Fire Emblem: Echoes and Pokemon ORAS are other games that have the same problem.
You might want to make a video of the games on sale for both Wii U and 3DS.
I definetly will! The sales caught me in the end of the production of this video, so I couldn't pivot. But that's what I will do now. Thanks chaossmash!
Can you make a video explaining which 3DS and Wii U games require playtime to unlock DLC function?
I did! You are in luck! It's the most recent one before this video, here's the link: ruclips.net/video/mZBuCKeC2zM/видео.html
@FromTheVoid Games I appreciate it, thanks!
I remember getting a physical copy of stella glow for my b-day ages ago. had to BEG my mom to take me on a roadtrip to another state to get the darn thing cuz delivery wasn't an option and you legit could NOT find it in SC!
Genuine question, with what's known of the new update coming out soon, do you think Fragrant Story will be worth picking up? I know its only $4, but it releasing with 15 minutes of content still irks me, even if the reason *was* to release physical copies while they still could. :P
Edit: Apparently they lowered the base price to $2, which is interesting.
Paper Jam looks fun.
For Azran legacy, I had to buy the game near release second hand and had a pretty hard time finding it back then so it was pretty hard to get.
Fragrant Story was such a con. $40 for a 15 minute game should be a crime. I called this out on a video from a "hard-core collector" and he swore up and down that it was a smart purchase and the game would be worth a bunch if money. They actually gave me a lot of heat for saying they got robbed. Interested to see what the update brings, if anything.
Thanking god I managed to get a copy of strange journey after the news of the 3ds was shutting down was announced
Considering that both Eleven & Eight were in Super Smash Bros Utimate, I would love to see both Dragon Quest 7 & 8 remake on Switch just like Dragon Quest 11 with full voice acting and DLC included aswell for having the choice for choosing remastered, original or classic themes considering that it’s hard to find and get, DLC is over and lacking of space data in the SD card.
Last I saw, Fragrant Story is on sale digitally for half off at $2.00.
I had to complete my Yokai Watch collection, already own the 1st and 2nd game (Fleshy Souls) as physical copies and the third game as a download. I also bought the Psychic Specters ver and picked up the Blasters game too. There’s no way I was gonna pay those ridiculous prices for em
10:42 Wait, Mario Golf World Tour is expensive now? Guess I got lucky with my 10€ Copy in December last year...
Here in Spain I went two weeks ago to Game (something like Gamestop) and they gave the third game of Yo kai Watch 2 for free! They give that game free for every sale higher than 10€ on second hand 3ds games. It looks like they have a lo of unsold copies in stock. And it turns out that in the US they sell it for more than 100 bucks! I can't believe it
Metroid prime blast ball is or was free(cool multiplayer), definitly worth the download. Something to cover if you still have time (not too much time for big research for stuff), is the games that has download play multiplayer(1 cartridge/copy of the game to be able to play multiple players). The best function for DS and a bit underutilized on 3DS. Also spotpass content like i think bosses in bravely default, useful items (spotpass renown)in fire emblem etc.
Regarding Go! Go! Kokopolo 3D and it being the last physical game released for the 3DS, apparently it will not be! Limited Run Games tweeted today (3/29) the following:
"Good night, Sweet Prince.
Yesterday, the 3DS and Wii U digital stores went down. Days like that remind us why we do what we do and why we'll keep on doing it.
We have one last 3DS release to give you-more news to come!"
So looks like one final game to be released! Title unannounced at the moment.
Wow! Thats great information! I know, from developers, that the deadline for officially licencing physical 3DS games is now passed, so this sounds like Limited Run produced whatever games those are months in advance planning ahead to release once the eshops closed, thats really cool! Cant wait to see which games they are releasing! Thanks for sharing this, Eric!
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is currently half off, $9.99 USD, on the 3DS.
Cave Story I bought off the eShop today for 10 bucks
great vid but i would have included fire emblem fates - birthright, conquest, and revelations special edition cartridge. correct me if im wrong but, just the cart loose is worth ~$400
@FromTheVoidGames Shantae and shovel knight are really cheap at the NA eshop and other great games like RE revelations
Hey do you reckon Nintendo will do some sale before closing? Im kinda holding out to last minute buying all the exclusives in hopes there will be sales.
No sale for these exclusives yet. Knowing Nintendo they probably won’t, I’ll be hella surprised if they do tho. However it is the last 7 days now
Isn’t Pirates Curse on sale for $10 in NA right now?
Yes it is! Unfortunately I got it at full price a few weeks ago, because I figured it wasn't going on sale and the physical copies are getting pretty pricey!
Holy hell I'm thankful to own some of these physically. I remember wandering into a store when Rhythm Thief came out, and saw one lone copy on the shelf, and bought it. Same for Layton vs Phoenix, I never thought I'd see the day where they spiked this much. One of the reasons I've been buying Switch games physically too, since they have a nasty habit of being abruptly delisted digitally. Another oddity to mention is Alien Chaos 3D, I don't know if it's on the eshop, but the physical copies are absurd, even for cart only copies. And Heavy Fire: The Chosen Few is all over the mark also.
For etrian odyssey u might as well buy the first 3 on switch
I bought a few copies of physical games already off ebay and never received them. Beleive me they were not cheap either...
I got most of them on physical already over the years. I will just rip them as roms and paste into other 3ds's i got
Don't forget to link your 3ds and Switch accounts, so you can add funds to switch and spend them on 3ds. Until March 2023.
Shovel Knight Treasure Trove is on sale for like $4 right now too. If you like high-quality retro platformers, do yourself a favor.
It’s always great to buy a game if it’s still possible
But if you’re carful with your modded systems they’ll last as long as you don’t do anything dumb
Agreed. I've had my share of consoles broken by having them modded by "professionals". A PS2 completly fried, a PSP that turns itself down and a Xbox 360 that got red ringed. So I am always reluctant to mod consoles nowadays. But would definetly do it to gain access to delisted games like what's happening to so many systems recently.
1:18 Sounds like a user issue rather than a console issue.
Federation Force is great. I don't get the issues besides the Chibi style.
i wish i grabbed mario golf a few months ago now its like 90 bucks cib
You have to check the sold ebay listings! not the asking price..
In the uk smt games are generally super expensive some well o we £100+
Atlus is re-releasing Etrian Odyssey 1-2-3 in a couple of months or so... for 40€ each. So get the 3DS version if you want a cheaper alternative
No it's a collection 80$ its more expensive in the shop lol
Why did your modded consoles break? What happened? Is there any documentation of this happening to modded consoles?
Interested to know this also.
Sorry it took so long to answer, have been swamped. So I had a PS2, a XBox360 and a PSP modded, all by professionals, didn't do it myself, and never modded anything else. All 3 broke on me, which I think would lead anyone to at least be skeptical about modding. After years using the PS2, the optical drive broke completly. At first it stopped being able to read pirate disks and later even original games.
Next was the Xbox360. Again after years using it, I started noticing that wennever I used a pirate disk, it was getting insanely hot, the fans got ultra loud, and it would shut down by itself sometimes. When running legit disks it would clearly not heat up as much. So I stopped using pirate disks and for a time it was ok, but the console was clearly not the same as before, taking longer to load, and it was declining fast. At some point it simply stopped turning on.
So these 2 made me decide to never use pirate media again, I only modded a PSP later because my intent was to use digital games in it, and I thought the problem with modded consoles was the pirate physical media. But a simmilar kind of problem happened even though I never used a pirate UMD in it. The system started taking longer to boot, both digital and physical games would not turn on sometimes, and at some point it started not being able to load any games period.
I have replaced all 3 of these systems with non modded ones and they all work perfectly fine to this day. So yeah, it may be that even if I had not modded them they would have broken just the same, it may be that all 3 instances were because of poor mod jobs, but it seems too much of a coincidence to me, considering that much older systems that I have, like my SNES, that I used much more than the PS2 or the PSP, are still alive and well.
I think it would be too difficult to conduct an experiment to prove that modded consoles die earlier than non-modded ones. The simple fact that it could easily take several years to arrive at a conclusion is already an impedement, and there are many other variables like how long the gaming sessions would have to be. But it definetly makes sense in my head that forcing an electronic to work with a hardware or software it was not meant to, could be a factor for it breaking sooner. I mean, thats probably why PCs break sooner than most other electronics in my opinion, because they are meant to run anything, and therefore not really tailor made for anything. Consoles are different, they are tailor made for the software and hardware the manufacturer developed for them, and using something else could likely strain it until it breaks, sooner than it would otherwise. Its just a logical thinking that my experience had led me to believe, but I could definetly be wrong, or partially right. Maybe some modded softwares are so simmilar to the original or so well made that they dont contribute to the system breaking earlier, I dont think anyone will ever know for sure. So Im not taking any chances anymore. If I ever mod anything else it will be a second system that I will have only to play games from other regions for instance.
This got really long, but one last thing, Im not against modding, I just had too many bad experiences to want to do it again. I regret making the statement like I did, cause when writing it it felt like a probability, not a certainty, cause I use the word "likely", but I wish I had made it clear that it was a personal feeling based on logic but impossible to be 100% sure of.
Damn gonna say I'm surprised Conception 2 didn't get a mention, kinda weeby but I thought was worth a mention but then I looked it up and don't think it's in eShop 😢
So mad that Capcom never discounted Monster Hunter Stories. Wanted to start the series with that one sadly I don't wanna waste $40 when I still need YKW3
Sega/Atlus probably won't have another sale either which sucks because I missed the last one 😔
For some reason Nintendo is the publisher for Monster Hunter Stories. That's probably why it never goes on sale with the other Capcom games. It's too bad really.
@@classicpctinker5070 makes perfect yet unreasonable sense 🙃
They did once. I bought Monster Hunter Stories at the eshop during Black Friday 2021 sale for $19.99, 50% off.
@@ZSleepingDragonZ Lucky. Didn't know they still did major 3ds sales till the middle of last year so I missed a decent chunk of games I wanted on sale. Hoping Sega/Atlus can pull through soon but I doubt it's gonna happen since they canceled in Japan.
@@cosmicXtropics Capcom games often go on sale, but Monster Hunter Stories was published by Nintendo, that's why it never went on sale until that one time. I was surprised too since no other Nintendo published games were on sale. As for Sega/Atlus, yeah it's too bad they canceled the "final" sale in Japan but their last sale in NA was around April 2022, when I bought everything I wanted from them.
Well as I was just saying on a different video from 7 months ago. Ever oasis you know I waited and waited. Ever since it's released that hopefully it would show up on the switch. Unfortunately so far it has not. Last year after having not seen it around so much anymore physically. I finally saw it again. I caved and picked it up. Don't think I have the box but that's not the point it's just you know I wanted the game but I like a lot of games I end up waiting too long because I don't have the money to buy it right away or I don't feel a point buying a game when I'm not going to play it for a long time. Yet over the years lately I've come to just accept that You know what buy it now or it's going to be extremely expensive. Then you can play it whenever you can if your system is still alive
Gotta say, I’m happy that I understand japanese.
These prices in the US and Pal are ridiculous.
There are expensive physical games in Japan too, of course but not that many and not at those insane prices.
Ninja Jajamaru & Toshin Toshi come to mind
JRPGs on the 3ds are bound to get more expensive before the eshop closure. Why? Because they don’t make tons of copies
The thumbnail girl is from perfect chronology?
31:32 I have a physical german version.
Wow. US prices are nuts.
I just picked up the Phoenix Wright games and the story DLCs for $35. They’re all massively on sale right now at like 90% off.
edit: and some of the Monster Hunter games for like, $12
Do you have to play the PW games for a bit in order to reach the DLC menu?
@@BroadcastsFromPoorFarm actually very little. Just start the game and save after the opening cutscene or whenever the save button on the bottom screen appears. Then you can quit to the title screen and access the Extras.
On the points you made at the beginning, I agree completely. I own both a modded and clean 3DS. Rn I'm doing my best to support and buy the releases I care about most on my clean 3DS. The modded one is there for games that I might've still missed or for cool fan-translations I want to check out. Generally, when I can download anything at no extra price on a modded console, it kinda cheapens the experience for me and don't want to play on a modded console unless that's the only option I have.
Claiming a CFW 3DS breaks easier is a ridiculous stretch.
@@LVNeptune personally, I don't think cfw breaks consoles either, especially not for the newer hardware out there. Only in extreme cases do I see potential harm, like trying to run software that pushes the console beyond the reasonable limits set for it. For the most part, not many people are doing stuff like that on their 3DS, and neither am I, so that's why I don't mind having that modded 3DS. It's still cool, but not my main 3DS.
Really wish this version of corpse party was discounted.
What is the name of the game in the intro and thumbnail?
That's Radiant Historia. Must play RPG if you like those! Thanks for watching Niko!
@@FromTheVoidGames Ah i see you are welcome!, I loved the 3ds back then myself ever since I was a young kid, now I am a teen watching these vids to know what games I should get from the eshop, thank you so much!!!
Well the roms aren’t going anywhere
Mario Golf's dlc menu is bugged btw, cant load anything, cant buy anythin, been seein plenty of people on reddit like me. Sometimes Nintendo does everythin to push us to mod.
Oh no, that sucks! And now? What a terrible timing. Hope they fix right away.
I was rewatching this and I believe another expensive game you forgot to mention that people should probably buy digitally before the 3ds eshop closes is culdcept revolt which is on sale digitally for $7.49 which is 75% off its original price saving people about $72.51 since physical copies are selling for about $80 or more! Another fairly expensive game that people may want to buy digitally is Hatsune Miku: project Mirai DX for $19.99 because the physical can cost them $40 or more!
I too would like to save thousands
I can't.
The Hshop
I like that are being the comments section is getting mad that people are spending money instead of hacking their system. Like there's a game developer on RUclips who painstakingly makes these game and you could see him putting in a lot of hard work and he finally released the last games on the 3DS. Pretty much pirating his games is pretty much well not giving him money in return for his hard work. But really every RUclips video that's telling you what games to buy there's always doesn't the people acting all Superior that they're not purchasing their games. Why should you care that hundreds of people are spending their own money buying these games while you're not, why do you care?
I’ll personally just do both. I bought all the games I could for my 3ds the other day cuz let’s face it, these eshop prices are insane considering this month is it’s last sendoff. After the shut down, I’ll just emulate the rest and call it a day. My money ain’t gonna be going to the devs after this month, they’re gonna instead be going to greedy resellers, which is why I’ll emulate the rest after this month.
Seeing these prices just sickens me. Games were meant to be played now people just want to buy games for bragging rights and keep them sealed of a shelf. This is all going to be worthless plastic one day
What pisses me off is that yokai watch can get away with it
The memory these games take up is 27000 blocks EACH, making physical the best way to play these, as that much memory , even from just one game, basically takes up an entire ds
I want these games, and I have the money to afford it, but I'm restrained by the memory, leaving the physical copies the only god damn choice 😭
Buying a 128GB SD card once is cheaper than buying physical Yokai Watch games solely bc they have huge memory.
What’s the game at 33:39 ?
Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright.
@@Ochtendgloren1 nice. Thanks! Bought it, gunna play it asap
@@docMETA_ Enjoy the game, remember that you need to finish it in order to get access to the free DLC!
Do modded 3DS' die quicker? I'm not finding any other claims of that anywhere other than here. Anyone able to confirm or deny?
They don't, that's just a dumb argument from unexperienced users or people who are actively trying to get you not to pirate games.
Support the homebrew community instead of creating urgency to buy games on a dying online service
You broke 3 3ds consoles by modding? Jesus you must of done it awfully wrong you are the first person I know to break a console over modding 😂
No, I broke zero 3DSs. I also didn't do any modding myself, I got professionals to do them and they worked for years. I said I had 3 systems broken after modding, those were a PS2, a Xbox360 and a PSP. It doesn't seem to be a coincidence to me since those were also the only 3 systems I ever got modded. Much older consoles than those still work fine, like a SNES, a gameboy, N64 and so on.
Ahh....Europe... you thirsty bro? 14:35
Once again, I'm becoming more convinced that we Americans are too dang consumed with capitalism because the price difference between us and those in PAL territories, for the most part, are so dang drastic that it's not even funny.🤦🏾♂
or.. you know.. just download the roms.. lmao.. such a simple solution, not sure why people want to reward nintendo for such scummy practices smh my head
Cough* 3ds hacks guide *cough
1:14 please don't spread this sort of bullshit...
You were probably thinkering with stuff you shouldn't.
All of my 4 3DS systems have been modded for years and they all still work fine.
I also had a modded PSP for years working fine until poof, just broke. Look, I cannot prove this, thats why I said its likely, not surely, but since all my 3 modded systems are the only ones that broke on me, while my unmodded gameboy from 1989 is still working fine, its too much for me to consider a coincidence. They were all modded by someone else, I didnt do anything myself with them. But hey, again, I dont think anyone can prove this beyond doubt, and Ill definetly be careful in the future to make this more clear if I ever touch on this subject agai, so I thank you for your input on this.
@@FromTheVoidGames Were they hardware modded or software modded? It could be possible to fix them.
@@FromTheVoidGames Sorry, but it just sounds like you made a bad decision by taking your 3DSes to that person... 3 times. Specially if they charged you any money.
It is always recommended that you do the modding yourself and it is not recommended that you follow outdated youtube tutorials but rather the most up to date writeup/written guide.
While my consoles are modded I do buy games, both digitally and physically (I know the ban risk is real on Switch, but that hasn't stopped me from making over 150 eshop purchases).
However.
I don't deny doing some piracy now and then either.
(I do A LOT of emulation too).
TL;DR, things aren't black or white, they are grayscale.
And in my opinion, piracy is the only real way to make sure video games are preserved forever.
