I got a lot of titles that were on sale, but I wouldn't have paid full price for most of them. With so many great games and not enough time and money, it's just impossible to get everything you want. Companies are only missing out if they don't do sales everywhere. Come on, it's not even a week until the shops close.
@@awetistic5295 I’m also hoping for sporadic sales… ya never know. I’m one of the bunch who loved the consoles growing up but life got in the way and I haven’t played for years. Big regret now that I can’t afford every single title and have to choose for not one but TWO double whammy console shutdowns 😭
I'm looking forward to the full interview, this guy sounds like he gets it. It is definitely a rare sight to see developers take the time to do things like this. Amazing stuff, I really like the game selection shown here. I don't think I'll be able to play them sadly.

I'm only guessing here, but I think the problem, why we have to miss out on these games in Europe, might be to get the games through the PEGI (and USK for that matter) rating process.
They might take substantially longer than an ESRB rating. There might even be some prerequisites from Nintendo concerning language support etc.
Unfortunately we'll never know, as I guess answers to this will be under NDA.
I'm going to miss having a developer space just for weaker titles. The 3DS is the last handheld that isn't mostly in parity with the consoles, developers had to make unique versions of games for it. It was an entirely different platform.

This have happened quite a few times by now, but in this video every single thing I'd wanna pick up is "Only Released in The Americas" ; Ouch. This 50% normal video & 50% Interview style of video is like a time capsule before the Eshop apocalypse.
Man, you really are the MVP! That interview was very surprising! I love to have some insights and that's why I just bought the two Silver Falls games on the 3DS that are available in Europe. It's really frustrating that we didn't get all the new releases. I also bought the physical version of Fragrant Story, but I won't ever be able to update it or to play it on my PAL 3DS.
Hearing that interview was beautiful, now I gotta get the game and adding it to my triple a titles folder
On a side note, in Gaiden Deathly Delusion Destroyers, did you try changing mission difficulty? The *Casual missions are selected by default and are easy and simple to allow you to quickly grind for items. There are many other difficulties for missions that are extremely complex and varied, and require you to build whole new teams with specific equipment, elements, and skill setups for every day of the week. Try the buttons at the bottom of the screen on the mission selection.
Thank you for another great video! The Silver Falls games seem right up my alley, I gotta check them out. The first Silent Hill is still my favorite, so I guess I have a high tolerance for janky controls.

I LOVE the coverage of Silver Falls! I gotta say, though, you're selling Deathly Delusion Destroyers short. Idk if you didn't notice the difficulty settings, but with the challenge, daily, weekly, Titan, and multiboss missions, it's definitely not shallow. There's a ton of strategy and challenge involved!

I hope these Silver Falls games become available on Switch or other platforms, and in Europe! I was ready to buy them all, but only two are available here, and one doesn't have the final update :(

There is a selection of Nintendo games called Nintendo Selects that cost $19.99 that I think should be mentioned, considering that's the lowest price especially for Nintendo games.

Im curious if a netgear wifi adaptor/Ethernet lan adapter will help the Wii console connect to wifi (and yes, I know wifi is built in), so again has anyone tried wifi adaptors and how effective are they at substituting for a Wii usb adaptor?

this is probably a dumb last minute question but when you buy a game on the eshop does it download automatically? or can you just buy the game then download whenever like you would on other platforms? cuz even tho i got a 32gb sd card some of these fuckers take up a ton of space especially all the jrpgs

You really shouldve highlighted in what state silver falls 3 stars down is for european players....so all we now know is it never got the final update....so how bad is it in its current state? Playable or not? Is it like armored core 4 and 4a that never got their final updates but are perfectly playable or does it still have actual game breaking bugs without the final update?

I had honestly never hear of the Silverfalls series before watching this
I was actually kinda ready to jump in and get them but I have to admit that I was kinda put off by the fact that only a fraction of the series is available for us European, and the one that was , was kinda expensive and did not even have all the fixes that the US one had so I sadly decided to skip on it, which is a shame. I feel there was a lot of potential here. Don't really understand why Europe wouldn't get many of these?
Yeah, it is a bummer, but it wasnt because the developer didnt want or tried releasing in Europe. The developer was in contact with both Nintendo of America and of Europe to release all games in both regions, but the deadlines for releasing games in Europe was cut short by several months most likely because of the war on Ukraine... the developer doesn't know the reason for sure, but it happend right when escalations were going on with nuclear talk... sucks. Putin is a monster.

Hey man, would you be able to do some investigating on the Mario golf dlc not showing up in Europe? I've been in constant contact with Nintendo with no result so far
I have been struggling with getting the DLC myself. I wasn't aware there was an issue for Europe, I just thought my game was broken
@@bayleyinc there seems to be some kind of issue with the DLC, people who have previously purchased it cant redownload it. The issue is the people who haven't downloaded it yet can't. If you look on the eShop it even says no in game add on content available for this title. So the eShop doesn't even know it has DLC, it's like someone's switched something off
It's a bit ridiculous - the only thing I would hope is that they could technically bring out the dlc as an update instead. Of course, would be nice to be told this!

The developer seems to be a great guy and very ambitious, but every marketing person who hears about his ideas and how the games are connected with that code-linker system probably gets a seizure.
