when randy and rudy both fell on the road.. priceless
testament to the steady cams, because it was so smooth. i didnt realize randy fell until i saw his foot.
And Matt dusted him off right on his sore spot. Why do we laugh at other people's discomfort? I feel bad, but I can't help myself from smiling at Rudy's pain.
@@TrevorDennis100 I was dying when they both fell, especially hearing Randy still laughing away lying on the ground lol.
I had to stop the video cause i was laughing so hard... the combo of the Rudy's hat flapping and falls... priceless for sure..
And Rudy's ability to keep the camera on target when he fell.

Randy it may be rarely verbalized but we all appreciate it much more than you know

It's at pretty high elevation I'd wager too, makes it even more impressive
I always feel bad when Matt yells at him when he tries to help and Matt (and reminds him he is just a camera man) isn't in a big enough bind, but he will hire the camera man and put him in the drivers seat when he needs him.... The channel is a lot more upbeat with randy and the footage is better (Randy goes all out to get the shot) only a fool would ball him out in front of customers and the camera!). It is Matt's channel but business can turn in a heart beat from youtube views to towing... I hope Matt sees this and learns to treat others the way he wants to be treated... He treats Ed well and any pretty girl... Employee of customer!!!

This is one of the best channels on youtube without a doubt, the content, editing, personalities, attitudes, and consistent videos make this a great channel.
Everyone on this channel is pure class. They could ridicule and make fun of most of the people they pull out. There is never a negative word. As frustrating as the situation may get, they just knuckle down... and get em out! Most of the tine smiling! I'd love to meet these folks.

God this stuff is wholesome. Just a buncha guys out there doing their side gig with friends in tow, having fun and providing a service for their community. If only the rest of the world could be this tranquil.
I got to tow a bunch of people whose vehicles were stuck due to a recent snow and ice storm. Lessons applied that were learned from this channel: (1) There is no place to attach my tow rope - get your tow hook out - what do you mean you don't know where it is? (2) Disengage your traction control - what do you mean you don't know how to? - read the owner's manual in your glove compartment. (3) Keep your wheels right there - why are you randomly steering in goofy directions? (4) Just give me a little help - why are you flooring it? (5) Is your emergency brake on? Are you in drive? (6) Don't run over my rope. (7) Take your foot off the brakes. (8) Don't run over my rope. (9) Keep the rope tight. (10) Don't run over my rope

I’ve owned a couple of Saturn vehicles over the years, great cars. It was a shame GM shut it down.

I agree. My parents had a plastic saturn. I drove it when I was 16. It was a great car to get you around, but it was a cheapo throw away car, anything but a classic lol.

Definitely appreciate the effort Randy! The "vehicle is hooked up and we're pulling it away" shot is critical to the formula here, can't have a recovery video without that shot! At least you can save on a gym membership. ;)

Everyone forgets that when you get there your tires are warm and melt the snow, which creates ice by the time you get back. After unloading you should move your vehicle so you won't be on ice when you go to leave. Of course turning around unloaded is the smart thing no matter what.
No to mention you wouldn't be loading the snowcat, steel-on-steel, while facing uphill.

I wonder if they forgot to get the larger fuel tank when it was ordered. Most have larger options but It might be limited based on the WB configuration. My dad has a F-350 diesel crew cab long bed and never complains about the size of the tank.

@@Kevin---kx3jy About 50% (35 gallons to 26). Makes a huge difference. Although years ago I ordered a Suburban with dual fuel tanks - 52 gallons in total. People used to look under to truck to see if it was running out onto the pavement.

Wow, I never realized just how much time is spent doing these rescues. In many of them it is already dark by the time you get back home, sometimes before then, even when you start in the early morning... but I guess it makes for a satisfyingly long day when you get the job done and everyone is happy!... But I know it's also a lot of hard work, some of which doesn't get to be filmed!... Keep up the great service to the area guys, you do a great job!
