I’d say respect is the biggest difference in this channel. Matt respects the dangers in the environment and from the equipment he’s using. He respects the customers and their property even when it’s damaged. He respects his employees and treats them fairly. He respects his viewers and maintains a moral attitude and atmosphere. Awesome job, sir. Absolutely love the channel and your work.
The main thing I've learned from this channel is that if I ever buy a razor I need to immediately upgrade the control arms.
There has to be a weak point or you really mess stuff up plus the thing is not a tank
Unless you upgrade stuff downstream, best keep them stock. Otherwise the repairs just get more expensive. Sacrifice the control arms to save much more expensive components.
Would it be practical to carry spares?
There’s a fine line between driving something hard and abuse, if you cross it it cost money.
Actually, just don't buy one of those piles! Find an older mini truck and use that. Even a used Jeep would be MUCH cheaper.
I like how y'all use different camera angles throughout the video. Most people may not realize the effort needed to edit in videos from different sources, but the finished product is SO much more appealing to the eye then a single source. 👍
Well said. Randy and the rest all seem to pull together and come up with great shots, then do a good job editing them. It makes a difference.
I was just wondering who flies the drone 🤔
thats very true
I swear it feels like even the dog has a camera on it sometimes
@@joseterrazas5500 Tim is the drone pilot
Matt going all Forrest Gump on us. “That’s all I have to say about that.”
As a side note, I called today (02/26/2021) to ask about an ETA for the recovery rope I ordered. To my surprise, Matt answered the phone. He was just as friendly, humble, and forth coming as he is in his videos. A great experience for me as a fan and customer. I just wished I had asked if he was still happy running Milestar Patagonia’s as I’m about to buy a set of 35s for my WJ.
He love them for the sand. Not much of a snow and mud tire but he plays in the sand mostly.
I just gotta say that MORR is apart of a few RUclips Channels that I follow religiously, never miss a video as it’s gotten me through the pandemic with the best content RUclips has to offer! Thank for another great video!!!
I second that. I found you about 10 months ago and I've watched consistently since. You are a very down to earth good natured guy and your crew is great. very professional.

I wonder what that's like.... It must be ignorant bliss.
GREAT job Lizzie getting that thing on the trailer. Wow.
I drove tow trucks, and rollbacks, from 1983 till around 2000. I am really impressed with the quality of people skills that Matt has. And his help seems just as genuine! I have always enjoyed towing, and getting people unstuck.
Matt, I appreciate your calm cool manner. It says a lot about your character. Your channel provides wholesome entertainment and education in an environment where it is badly needed. Thank you
Yes Appreciate the clean language too.
My goodness, that gel Lizzie is a tough cookie, if 11C is 'tee-shirt' weather!!
I watch your videos all the time, I might not comment on them, but I just want to say you and your team do amazing work. I enjoy watching all the recoveries, I know you do it for a living but it seems like it doesn't end, it's amazing how many people get themselves in to trouble! Great job and keep up the good work!
I love all the arm chair quarterbacks telling Matt how he should have done it, heck, I'm sure that after watching the video Matt can see what he should have taken, how he could have done it, etc, but, flying by the seat of your pants is most of the fun watching your vids, keep up the good work!!!
Matt, one statement. You do what & how to get the job done. No matter who says different. Like the way your channel is!
I love awakening to your videos. It’s always a positive and uplifting start of the morning for me. I live in Atlanta and it’s almost a different planet than you guys and I just love seeing there’s another world out there full of great people. Maybe it’s about time to move west 🤣
As a grandpa, I can testify that we love it when our granddaughters come to visit and do out-doors things, working with their hands.
Some people don’t enjoy their work, then there is Matt’s crew. 👍🇺🇸👍
Matt...as a off road trainer for a long time, I love what you show the viewers. All the inns and outs without skipping the mistakes and errors. But...and I repeat....skip the make up...you don't need it. Show the man you really are and that's what people appreciated in you in the first place.
Good day, just a thought, if you have a 2x3 square tubing as long as the trailer (storage sleeve on trailer, you would have a good bar to leverage onto the trailer when you get hooked. I like you video's and methods for recover. Can't wait to see your build doing recoveries.
Matt has worked hard to keep the weight down on both the Banana and this trailer. Adding snatch block attachment points and steel pry bars could affect the performance of this combination, especially in sand.
I feel like the “well boys! I think I sent her a little too f*ckin hard!” Is said before each call to you guys. Awesome job and awesome videos.
LIZZY, has come a
Long way. She is doing things on her own. You go LIZZY👊🏻
I started to watch te channel because of her... Pretty good show, i love to watch, especially when Lizzy is on...
Lizzie is always the first to jump in! Got to love her attitude:)
You need a built-in air compressor on the Corvair
Agreed...makes total sense
would make a nice addition! Air & a Winch -- Matt's finally giving in to SOME of that stubbornness of his :)
Don't think Matt will, since he needs lean and mean machines, to float on yhe dunes.. so any addition needs to be weight.
A engine driven compressor would be the ultimate solution and provide enough air for air tools and other air power devices.
@@longliner205a4 I have a belt driven compressor on my CJ7 and it's a monster!
Have you thought about adding some pulleys on the sides of the trailer deck like a roll back has for biasing the pull when it's not going up the ramps straight?
Or carry some blocks made out of Delrin you could jam under busted stuff so it slides better.
WOW. Watching lizzy air up those tires you can see that gal has guns. She's been lifting a few weights. Go lizzy. Go lizzy. 😎
That new trailer hitch sure works great, thanks for taking us along and all the effort you guys take to make an enjoyable video.
that trailer is no joke! Personally loading it backwards makes perfect sense!
Matt's such a humble guy. Don't live in Utah or own a 4x4 but I kind of want to come out and get stuck just to give Matt business lol.
Easier to get stuck with 2 wheel drive lol
You don’t need a4x4 to get stuck!👍
I know quite a few people that watch your chanel. Good job.
Amazed at how unprepared you usually are and how lucky you get sometimes.
I am amazed again and again by the performance of that light (!) trailer.
I think Matt is onto something regarding low weight.
That tire check method I have used a lot. Good Enough, Lets roll.
y'all should engineer some cable points on your trailer so you can drag left or right. Nice work anyway you do it. Usually!
a grab hook from a chain mounted about midway on both sides of the trailer a short length of chain for adjusting how hard you pull in either direction and a cable pully that can be opened to hook over the cable quickly would make the type of adjustments they needed a breeze would not be hard to put together
I just wrote the same thing before i saw this. A couple holes on either side of the flatbed to attach some T-hooks to will allow you to walk anything up onto the trailer and adjust. They would also be helpful for pulling things into alignment before even dropping the ramps into place.
Dang I was just going to say the same thing...
They already have them with those d-ring tie-downs
@@dwal2165 to an extent yes but pull points on the outside edge would allow your to pull things into the trailer even at angles and then straighten them on the trailer. The d rings are more centered I think which makes the angle pretty tough
Lizzy did a really good job backing the RZR onto the trailer. I seriously don't know why people spend big bucks on vehicles like the RZR if they are not built to withstand what they are being used for. To each their own I guess.
Stay Happy, Safe and Healthy Everyone 💕

Personal experience
Utah is the most beautiful place. Its wild to pause for a moment and realize how beautiful this world is, from the forests of British Columbia to the Virgin islands, then you look at Utah and realize Hawaii is a real place to. The world is amazing.
100% agree.
Most folks spend their time staring at their shoes (or phone these days) and never really look up to enjoy what this wonderful planet has to offer. My house is in rural Romania, 750 m elevation (2,460 ft),countryside all around and 2,300 m (7,545 ft) high mountains 15 min drive away. It’s a wonderful place to be.
Some of the scenery in these videos is breathtaking. 🇷🇴🇬🇧👍🏻
@@clivehorridge I recently saw a picture of Ceahlau NationalPark on my Windows10-Background. It looks like a beautiful scenery, that I would definetely like to visit on vacation.
Is it easy and save to travel to those rather rural places when only speaking english?
Best wishes from Germany!
Matt, with all of yours and Rudy's fabrication knowledge you might be able to build up a razor dolly of sorts that lifts the front end up and you can use it to roll up onto trailers with ease.
I grew up in a small town. (Ely, Nevada) When I watch your vides I miss my home town. I feel sorry for people who can't see the beautiful sage brush, juniper trees, sand, ect. You are wonderful hard working people don't change.
Lizzys weather reports are getting better !!......however....Ed is still the Master !!.....great recovery Matt !!
M Matt I really enjoy watching your videos and some other rescues you make. I noticed that a lot of Razors seem to bust their “A” arms or other front ends. I was wondering if you ever considered building a carriage to help you get razors like the ones in this video up the ramp a little more easily. Just a thought. I look forward to seeing the Corvair wagon on the road.

@@Bananahammock88 some people just have to make it political...
For someone that does towing/recoveries I am continually surprised how unprepared Matt is. It appears that he doesn't even carry a tire gauge as he was pushing on the trailer tires to get an idea of how much air was in them. I've had a tire gauge in my glovebox since I got a learners permit in 1979.
And yet it seems to consistently work out for him.
@@JwLincolnTC Matt has a lot of experience. I bet he's within a lb or 2 when he guesses.
he knows by looking at the tire if it has enough air for what he wants to do.
You guys have the best CGI Department. The desert background looks so real in every video.
you test the limits of your trailer every time out, taking a trailer off-road is always an adventure
Seeing how much Randy (and often also Rudy, when he is recording) runs over all kinds of rough ground, just to catch great video of the recovery, MORR could also stand for "Matt's Off Road Running".
At least it keeps the camera crew in great shape! ;-)
Appears Elizabeth did a super good job. Thanks. Still believe young ladies belong at home.
Great rescue. Never see a trailer go mountain climbing with a four wheeler on it back. 👍
You got a Great crew, your son knows what to do, and you’re lucky to have Liz she seems to know what to do.. keep them coming the videos. Carl
Mornin fellas thanks for all the adventures!!!!!
Matt, it occured to me that setting a snatch block on the side of the trailer deck (similar to how you load stubborn rigs on your roll backs) might reduce the amount of shoving you need to do?
I eagerly watch every entertaining episode and have learned so much from you. It's been fun watching your channel go from a single handheld cell phone camera, to a professionally produced show (documentary?) that remains authentic, unscripted, and unstaged.
Keep up the great work!
as many of these vids that i have watched you would think that folks who have these things would invest in aftermarket, stronger "A" arms! think that it would be money will spent in the long run. keep the vids coming! Really enjoy all the interaction! hope to meet you all next time in the area, not for a rescue but just to say "HI"!
It's nice to see the summer gear coming out again❤️
The small town stuff makes me smile stopping at Lizzies grandpas for air love it gotta know the resources you’ve got eh
As many crippled SxS's you rescue with that trailer I feel like it should have a huge Burke Bar mounted on it some how!
Enjoy watching your adventures!
You know, I’ve watched a lot of your Razor recoveries and I’m amazed you don’t have a 70” Digging Bar from Grainger. They’re great for picking things up and sliding them over.
I think a lot of these side-by-side owners grew up watching Dukes of Hazzard...🤣🤷♂️
I'm thinking they are all driving someone else's atv.
Always surprised that you don't have a good air compressor with you. Seems like it would be absolutely essential to have.
air comps are rubbish,,you need a power tank. quik, simple.last all yr. arb are chinese garb. trail recon vids,he had 2 duds.. i have 3 5 gal tanks on my f250,1 300 psi comp,to fill them,so i have air. we dont have p/tanks in aus,,considered california syndrome dangerous.. nanny country..
@@phantomwalker8251 I dont think so I have a quality one for around 70€ and it work very well. It isnt very fast but it stop automatic when it reach the right pressure.
Back in the 80s I installed a reciprocating air conditioning compressor with an airline oiler on the inlet on my F250. Compressed air at the flick of a switch!
This is so much better than anything on Discovery Channel. No drama no fake stuff just great cinematography and honest work.
The way I see Matt you do not have to explain yourself or your actions to us the viewers you do what you think is right and get the job done and completed as safely and quickly as possible you have a great crew as well
Grafton is where some scenes of "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" were filmed.
Thats kinda cool. Thanks.
You need a tire pressure gauge. If it was a Winder towing branded one; I would need one also.
and a 12V compressor
God already gave you the Winder tire pressure gauge. A pen marker is all you need to make it a "Winder" one. ;)
I loved that Lizzy's grandpa has a compressor in his garage. Compressors are so useful if you are even a little into DIY. Things like but runners and ratchets are all cordless nowadays but stuff like bad nailers, and just blowing the dust off, is where air tools shine. It's a shame they are so noisy, but if you are into DIY it's easy to box them in to bring the sound down.
Naw, the "MattoMeter" said there was plenty of air!
It would only need to go to 15 psi for Matt
Dang. Lizzy's hair is _perfect._
I'm jealous.
Lizzy is turning into quite the asset. It's cool to see her getting better and better every day. You'd better be careful Matt or she is gonna be telling you which way to turn the wheel before too long. :)
Hey Matt love your channel, have you ever thought about building a clamp on “Splint” if you will to temporarily make a rolling razr when the a arm is broke? Wouldn’t have to be perfect but since you recover so many broken a-arm Razr’s seems like it would make you recovery a lot easier...And who knows maybe it could be a marketable item...Get with Fab-Rats, you guys could do this...lol
I love it when grandpa had 50ft of airhose and air tank.

Love the way Matt checks his tire pressures! 🤭🤪😉
Pancakes and a new Winder recovery. No matter what happens today, it sure started off good.
Matt needs to make a wheeled dolly that goes under the utv's with broken front ends to make loading them much easier just like the tow trucks have.
even a couple of skid plates would work miracles in my humble opinion
When vdid you get the wireless remote for the winch. I keeo saying to myself he needs a wireless remote. You can actually get hands on and take it in. Well done.
Another very excellent video. Thank you. You had 3 cameras and 2 dogs watching you crest that camels 🐪 hump. 😎. Keep up the good work and great videos.
Way to go, crew. Slick recovery from a sticky wicket.
"We'll get you out."
So, how many tire pressure gauges are you gonna get in the mail after"guessing" at the trailer tires? I'm gonna say 8-10
Matt was born with a built in pressure gauge...
8-10lbs over filled because he didn’t use the tire gauge I’m sending tomorrow
He seems to prefer the eyecrometer and the handgauge.
Between this and Rudy waiting with that silverado in the ditch recovery, I think it's time Matt invested in a 12v compressor
The most appreciable thing with your videos is that you find a way, with what you have to work with!! Thanks for that!
55 and sunny (low humidity) is T-shirt weather for me too! Great working weather!
Love the channel. You can give it a like before you ever watch it. Because you know it’s going to be clean funny video.

I like thin Lizzy's shirt. "No mistakes just new moves".
Glad you switched from the ball to the pintle. Much better!
You need a set of recovery wheels to set the front end on, on those broken suspension utv's
yup,2 wheeled triangled dolly. triangle stops it pivoting. more mount/strap points. also,a hitch post, with top wheel, run winch cable over it,to front of rtv, lift it,then fit dolly. if made big & strong enough, like 5 metre long, good for lifting roof trusses, pivot at truck bar.
These videos make me think I could make a Killing selling RZR suspension components lol.
No kidding...must used crushed up butterfly wings to make them...
Lady and Max waiting at the RZR...they know the routine : )
To all those who say Matt needs to have snatch blocks along the sides of the trailer to redirect like on a rollback, I would like to point out that because what he is winching on weighs so much more than the trailer, that would just result in pulling the trailer sideways. Matt owns and operates a rollback. If he thought this would work with the trailer too, he would already be doing it.
Pulling the trailer sideways is good too. As long as the two line up. He surely got a snatch block with the winch and has anchoring points along the trailer, so it's not a bad idea. He probably just doesn't think it's worth the trouble. Those things only weigh ~1000 lbs.
@@fascistpedant758 The one he is dealing with in this video weighs around 1900 pounds. If you watch enough of Matt's videos where he is loading one of these things with a damaged front end, you will notice that they often start on straight, but end up crooked by the time they are about 1/3 of the way on. Once it is that far on, having the trailer shift sideways could be disastrous and potentially injure someone. At some point you have to realize Matt has been doing this far longer than his channel has been around. He has tackled recoveries under circumstances that few people in the world could handle with the equipment he has available. I just hope he films and posts the recoveries he is not able to accomplish; I just love seeing a Sikorsky Sky Crane in action.
"That's all I have to say about that" Forest Gump quite!
Max and Lady are thinking "There they go again, doing some of that hooman stuff. Why would they do that when they could be running around and sniffing things?"
I just love Matt's tire pressure gauges. There so precise! 😅😂
Hey Matt,
Adding some D-rings on the side of the trailer and using a snatch block will save you a ton of hassle. I do it on my car trailer all the time, I just use a Shackle to attach the snatch block and run the winch cable through it. It allows me to suck the car to one side or the other. It would have allowed you to pull the rear of the side by side over. Just some thought for the future!
Good morning all. Have a good day.
Good morning happy Friday stay safe
Good morning have a great day
Give em the kick and a "that's good" that's how I air my tires too 😂
I’ve watched a number of recovery videos you guys are great! I would suggest a couple d-rings along the trailer bed rail for maybe a soft shack and a small snatch block allowing you to pull a “dead tow” left or right to help line it up on the trailer. I don’t think it would add much weight and would give a few more loading options.
It would be nice to have a d ring with a snatch block to line the machine up a little easier. Good job Lizzie.
Manometer: useful for measuring tire pressure.
Matt: I use my hands.
Mormons don't drink... They always have 2 free hands!
Mano: Spanish for hand. Manometer: Use of hand to measure air pressure (or really anything else).
I wouldn't be surprised if Matt's hands were spot on.

Matt’s gonna love all these great suggestions. Not sure why he never thought of them.
@@shawnbrennan7526 Yeah, high lift jacks have become a fashion accessory for Jeeps -- so many have them, but have no idea how to use them safely. TrailRecon showed a jack that was pretty cool, basically a lightweight bottle jack with extensions called a Safety Jack IIRC. I know Matt is trying to keep it light out on the dunes, but there are times he and/or Rudy could carry a few key pieces of additional equipment that would make their life easier. And wiring quick connects for the winch would make his life much easier...
Love how big these things have gotten. At a certain point, just buy a 4Runner, Jeep, etc.
These are way lighter and built to be taken offroad with huge aftermarket for upgrades. Vehicles are made to be driven on road and capable of going offroad with big aftermarket there too.
@@elijahcavin2408 Built to be taken offroad with the exception of the front suspension, it seems. If this channel is any indication, the front suspension is responsible for 80%+ of the breakdowns.
@@rmcjr5206 Over 90%.
@@rmcjr5206 I think rentals and excessive speed are responsible for most of that. No one drives these the way they would drive an SUV, so it's hard to make a direct comparison.
@@rmcjr5206 Yeah I believe excessive speed and driver incompetence is more to blame than the machine. You plow the front suspension of any vehicle into a rock or the ground and something's going to break
