How to draw faces

This is how I enjoy drawing; finding the lines that feel right, leaving in the searching scratchy lines, then emphasizing the ones that best describe the form I’m working on. The watercolour is similar, though here, I have to be a bit more decisive or it’s a mess. Trick is to use limited colors and keep a range of light to dark so it’s not just made up of one tone.
