Hi Richard. Just watched you paint this wonderful painting. The way you have blended the colours of the cliff and rocks with the reflection on the water is brilliant.A master of your art.Always a pleasure to watch you paint 🎨. Jim from England 😊

Those strokes of brighter colour in the water really catch the eye. I agree with another comment which said you are the master of reflection. Thank you so much Richard for the way you explain what you’re doing. I absolutely love watching you create.

Expressionism with a knife! No mind can paint with an 'impression' of straight lines; but one can 'express' it wonderfully, as you have. Bold colors, even in gray and brown, burst from the frame and grab hold of your eyes, drawing you in to see what is inside these colors and forms. A knife! A blade! A shear line demarcating the world of light and shadow and color from the eye of the viewer I -- Brilliant! Keep it up!

Jeepers Richard, anyone would think I had nothing to do. As soon as you pop up on my radar here, I’m switched straight onto you like magic in an instant. You are one interesting character and would be a fantastic neighbour if you were ever home, lol.
You have done all my hard yards and seen lovely country river scenes, gone camping and put the billy on a hundred times in the same space I have shuffled around my parrot cage and scared the dog. I think you’re neat... and I wish I had come upon you when I had more energy. My truck would be right behind yours 💪😂💪. Once again, the bestest wishes to you. (Nz) 👍

Just fantastic! The tooling is awesome especially on the rocks, but having said that, the water reflection is just world class period. This is a great example of that magical transition moment when the shapes pop into focus and as you say "all is revealed". Bold and chunky - you've nailed it.

Greetings, Richard. - First of all, I would like to thank you for the small shots of the beautiful Australian landscape. This is also something that makes your videos so unique above all others.
Your pictures are also unique, mainly because of their luminosity. Impressionism also plays with colours, and you use purple or blue, for example, where others would have simply chosen brown or grey as a shadow colour. And the shapes of the landscape result from the juxtaposition and overlapping of the colours and the final lights. This technique also brings out the reflections in the water wonderfully. The large format canvas also ensures that, because one should look at your pictures from a small distance, one perceives the big picture. This painting is very beautiful.
Thank you for the explanations that always accompany your paintings and explain why you do what you do. I have a little trouble understanding the Australian pronunciation, but your pictures always speak for themselves. God bless you and may you be able to take us on your travels - or into your studio - many more times.
