Hi Kevin - just watched your review of the lose it and fitness pal apps. If you had to choose one, which one would you recommend?

Thank you, this is a very detail review I was debating with Lose it or My Fitness pal and knowing we can add our measurements for our body was the selling point to me. Agree it could be more vision friendly/fun compare to what is out there.

Good video; I was hoping you would point to the best others too ... Lose it was a good example.
I am looking for a diet and workout app in one. I was unimpressed with the Fitbit app, is there a better/best all in one fitness app?

Newbie here. I have premium and when I put the food brand & description in I had to pick the 2 tablespoon (no other option) and I only used 1 tablespoon. How do you adjust the size of the item. ex: 1 tablespoon or like 1/2 C instead of 1 cup?

Thank you for this video! Would you recommend MyFitness Pal over Lose it? I downloaded both but wanted to know your thoughts.

Hi, TheTurnerBot! I use MyFitnessPal out of habit and because I like to track water for free! However, the interface is a little dull compared to Lose It! (MyFitnessPal just refreshed their interface a bit, but Lose It! still has the more fun display). I'd say if the goal is weight loss, Lose It! might be the better choice given how it displays information and calorie ins/outs, however, if you're tracking for general health, MyFitnessPal is great.

I notice when I run on the treadmill the treadmill gives me a calorie burned at a 1000 and most times my fitnesspal will be less than that which is correct

Hey there Will! Yes, sometimes MFP can provide calorie burn estimates that are way off. That’s why I prefer to track exercise separately on a wearable device. I find it more helpful to calculate a calorie deficit to manage weight as well; I describe how in this video here: ruclips.net/video/20-ZOdSU91I/видео.html
