1:11 I imported a custom model as a creature but when I press the Characterization button there's nothing like an entire skeleton created, instead it's just one diamond shaped bone. I thought that's becasue this model as you suggested was from sketchfab so it already has bones??? I have contacted to a customer service but she said this program is supposed to create bones for any characters without any original bones. I just don't know where I did wrong or which tutorial I should watch.

if I want to create character in cc4 , am I only limited to human-like characters ? can't I create something fantasy like , for example undead or orc or elf or something like that ?
@@RonnGarris When I imported my FBX model and adjusted it in 3DXchange I was able to see some of the facial sets but not all then again I imported it as a No-Standard Human and not the Creature Import. All model with no bones do the same so I don't understand what you are talking about. I even imported the FBX and after setting it up I was able to get things working and NOW with these NEW tutorials I am going back in to try it all over again. This is fun. Some people pay video games but at 62 I just have fun creating.
@@TheSunMystic I’m not using 3dxchange. Character creator 4 did away with that need.. or so they said. I import my fbx file, set textures, assign bones, but there is no way to assign the facial bones to animate facial expressions. It’s even from the same model pack that they used for the coyote that comes packaged into CC4. Everything works fine except I can’t assign the bones in the face..
Hii....can you please let us know .how can i convert fk to ik animals or T-Rex...i couldn't found youtube even a single video.please help. All the tutorials are about human ik not the animal or dinosaur ik.
Hi @raviranjan1116, It may be challenging to convert a non-humanoid, like a T-Rex. For standard humanoid characters, the process is straightforward: courses.reallusion.com/home/character-creator/pipelines-and-render/blender?v=cc-accurig-character-with-blenders-rigify-%7C-character-creator-4-tutorial
I think this video somehow has the wrong title - in the thumbnail, video itself and on RUclips. :) This video is about NON-Humanoid characterization. Not about Humanoid characterization.
Thanks for the suggestion. We use the term "Humanoid Character" to mean any creature who's body resemble those of a human with a single spine, 2 legs, 2 arms, and a head (putting aside extra attachments like ears and tails). This can include anthropomorphic characters such as the one you see here. But how do you assign the facial bones for expressions?
This is what i am stuck on too. Bone rigging or facial morphs? It needs to be a CC3+ character if i try?
Next video shows how to use the new Facial Profile Editor.

is there an option to add bones directly on CC or iclone?
i did a custom rigging, and my fingers curl up not sure why despite it showing green during implementing the rig to my bones.
