This video is a lifesaver really. I hate the looking of hair when I import into blender. It would be nice to see a CC4 and blender tutorial to prepare a 3d print ready character. This is another issue also. Thank mate you made my day
Fantastic workflow. I am having some issues with the face symmetry with facebuilder. I want to refine the model further in Zbrush after getting likeness in facebuilder, is there a way to achieve symmetry of the face through blender?
There is no symmetry as an intended option in FaceBuilder as it was meant for reconstructing people's faces which tend to be asymmetrical. You can achieve sort of symmetry with FaceBuilder though if you create and drag pins either on right or left side of the head. You'll notice that the opposite side will kind of mirror the deformations. This is not what we usually recommend doing however.
@@keentools thanks for your reply. Still, great tool! I'm going to buy it soon. I hope keeping symmetry will be made possible, as it might make it easier to add details or do further adjustments, manual.
I want to work for a beauty clinic. Is there a way FaceBuilder can help determine, for example, how much filler should be injected to achieve a more attractive chin? I would like to simultaneously adjust the material and UVs while modifying the vertices to quickly see the results of the changes. Is this possible? Your guidance would help me make an income through this
You can create a 3D head in FaceBuilder from a single photo. Obviously, there will be gaps in texture. You can fill them in either manually in editors like Photoshop or generate skin texture inside CC.
In geo tracker the lightsaber is placed on the object correctly and the tracking was perfectly well in render view the object is correctly placed on the mesh after I rendering it the object was displaced in render pls give solution
Hey! Unfortunately, it's hard to say what might go wrong based on your message. Would you mind recording a screencast and sending it to us at team@keentools.io?
After following this steps it make perfact face with depth and look I faced one issue after adding texture into this file and export with skin texture in fbx format, after that i open this file into blender, till that nothing is problematic byt after this step i converted this file into stl formate but my texture are not visible in stl format so what i can do😢 basically i want to 3d print that face with skin texture and roughness
Great workflow and features KeenTools. I have a question; in this round-trip workflow, is there anything that doesnt survive upon import/export with Blender or CC4?
Thank you! There's a lot manual adjustment involved at the stages of generating and fine-tuning the model in Headshot 2 and CC4. So it really depends on you as an artist how much is going to survive that export/import.
@@keentools Im a bit confused as what was the point of bringing it back to blender, in the end you didn't improve or modify the Character there. Unless that step is meant for someone that intends on using blender as the final compositing tool for their story/film etc.
Not as straightforward as in this video, but once your 3D head is ready in FaceBuilder you can then wrap it with the Daz topology and then use it in the Daz Studio. Try Wrap3D and check out tutorials on retopology like this one: ruclips.net/video/wdB2bmqrArc/видео.html
Hey! If you encounter a "couldn't locate face" error, you can manually position the mesh over the picture by creating and dragging red dots (pins). Simply right-click with the mouse to place them.
WOW this is too good. I believe this is pretty expensive. I am not a professional. I wonder if somebody can help me to construct 3D image of my LATE son. I can can send a couple of photos of my son. Please let me know if you can help me with constructing the 3D image of my sons face. I can pay for this.
Ridiculous .A Subscription model for a blender addon that’s not even that useful . Keen tools is Charging 18 dollars a MONTH for this precious face builder .The reason people use blender is to stay away from greedy developers like this.
Amen! Just charge me a one time fee. This greed is a turn-off. unfortunately he is not alone...lots of places have figured out this is the model to the big life. Thankfully, as of yet, DaVinci Resolve remains old school. I didn't need Resolve's pro version, but I rewarded their old school approach by just going ahead and buying the pro version.
what a stupid solution to have in terms of character creation just miserable unmeasured sliders, if u want to create doubler for cgi or even monster it's a way better to operate with real life measurements
Thanks for the awesome intro!
Love this so much...thanks Keentools
I cannot thumbs up this enough. Bravo.
I have tried different techniques, I hope this one works for me because the result is too good
My mind is blown!! I love animation!
6:18 I can’t find “Eyeball iris scale”
I can't wait to try this out 🤓

Thank you. Any chance of doing this with Human Generator 3D (by Oliver J Post)? It would all be done completely in Blender.
Thank you for your suggestion. We'll explore that possibility.

Let's talk about it: team@keentools.io
Is there a zbrush version?
How to make the character talk a specific text in cc4?
that's done in iclone not cc4
@@DimiArt oh, ok thank you

WOW!!!
question why is my body different in texture from my face, a line is visible. Tell me how can I fix this?
Either adjust it using CC4 texture editor or adjust FaceBuilder texture in a Photoshop-like software
what if you only have a single image? How can i generate reference images out of that?
You can create a 3D head in FaceBuilder from a single photo. Obviously, there will be gaps in texture. You can fill them in either manually in editors like Photoshop or generate skin texture inside CC.

how can I change the hair? I need long curly hair
There are plenty of hairstyles available in CC4

me too facing same problem while exporting a file , texture is not included in it
Pack the textures in blend file
Or bake them

Why not introduce a perpetual license?
I’d love to see a reply to this.
We don’t do subscriptions. Subscriptions hurt the development process of software.
Would this also work on a human skull? No face.
Yes. Auto Align might not work for side views but you can always adjust everything manually with pins.
