Hello friends, some upcoming videos that you may find useful will be this full process in Blender. Also quite keen to show mocap animation for rigify characters. Alternative suggestions welcome :) (Happy to use Maya/ Zbrush/ clo etc)
@@QuoteTrek Yes! Start with all the free blender documentation on their site docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/ . They also have Blender courses on there (I think it’s a monthly subscription but worth it) . Give yourself time and enjoy the journey.
There's only one problem. Reallusion does not give you intellectual property rights to your characters. They only give you the rights to render them. You can't use the characters in a video game that you sell. You use the characters for freelance work for other people. You can't sell characters to clients. This is essentially, only for people who do 3D as a hobby.
THIS. IS. A MIRACLE!!!!! I've been struggling to make characters and clothing for my game for about 3 months now. Thank you so so much, I could cry! 😂🤣😭💖
Always something useful to be had in your videos, that clothing library sounds like something everyone needs to look into, thanks for letting us know about it!
This is legit way more professional workflow than I expected XD This is awesome, I'll go make some characters. I have to say, out of all the AI related channels I started following from beginning of the year, your channel has been most useful for doing actual useful work that I get paid for. Thank you. Keep doing what you do
Using three different very complex and very different pieces of software to get to these results is way over my time budget. I am always looking for Blender only solutions.
While I've still not got round to actually doing any 3D work, I do so enjoy your videos and tutorials. Keep up the good work and thank you for taking the time to share.
Awesome. I do like that you try and pack in so much knowledge and it's super informative. I have pointed my team to your channel as there is so much great stuff. Keep it up 👍
Awesome video. I’m going to try this week. Hopefully today. More video in this vein would be great. Reallusion + Blender + UE. Im constantly reviewing your character generation videos as I’m learning Thanks for these tutorials
As a noob to creating characters and currently learning in Blender, this has been a really interesting video and insight into how you can create your own stuff....definitely will be checking out some of the software mentioned. Thanks!
To me a much faster way to make a 3D character is to a good sketch of a character front and side views and use primitives to trace the outline. As for clothes, use box modeling over your character, subdivide them a couple of times, apply cloth physics and collision detection and then animate with Mixamo.
"FAST" aside ........Why only mention Blender in the title when it's the only software that has no relevance in this project? most of it was done in CC and ZBrush (both can render that pose and color easily). (no angry tone, just an opinion for something that makes no sense........ofc always personal...........the comments section is also for this....right? )
That Character Creator looks like a cool piece of Software. Sadly I switched to Mac OS. Any chance you can recommend a similar software? ^^ (After I spent so much money to Apple I finally want try to get „productive“ with blender stuff… but I’m a total noob… ^^)
Came here for a blender tutorial but I am kinda getting the feeling the bottom line is not to use Blender... This said, your animation skills are impressive. You make it look like it's so easy to pose that character in a few seconds. But the price of that work stack is too much for my budget.
hey not at all it’s for people who may of tried blender to create characters and struggled. I actually really love blender and think it’s a fantastic tool - but understand it can be a complex process to create characters if someone wants to do animations. I’m actually making a video right now to show the process in blender.. although it’s a bit longer 👍
It's kinda so cool that you can make a character not from scratch, to modify it and stick it back with still having the ability to use face rigging. Is it possible to add custom irises for eyes?
Great video, but I wish you could have spent more time on the texture editing part. I've seen other people edit textures to make them more stylized, but yours look the best IMO.
wow in 1hour.. even i learnt blender .. but how to be as fast as you.. i keep designing random stuffs daily but still not fast enough .. what is the secret to get faster as you .. thanks again.. let me know please
Im a massive believer in the 10,000 hour rule. I have been using various 3d products for many yrs. When I want to learn something new, my personal approach is to have a set goal to what I want t achieve (character / environment or game prop like a gun etc) and find a tutorial for that. Also this approach means you build a portfolio of work which you can be proud of or use for professional use . I think learning without a purpose can feel so intimidating and boring! Reddit / RUclips and the blender website will give you a great reference points. Being inspired by social media is great but also comparison can be the thief of joy. Do not be afraid to kitbash either (bringing in pre-made 3d elements).
Who needs a sculptor when you've got this tutorial turning us all into 3D Picasso's! 🎨💻 Fasten your seatbelts, folks - we're about to take the express lane to character creation in Blender!
Hello, the video is very helpful thanks, but when I create the character in CC4 and import in Zbrush to modify it, at the moment to return the character in CC4 by GoZ I can't be able to modify the character as you show (face, eyes etc are all setup blocked and the character is not recognized as a cc4 character). Suggestion?
Hmmm is it coming in as a white mesh by chance? This has happened to me previously. Try clicking on All (next to go fix button in brush) make sure the import dialog in CC is showing that it’s being updated not creating a new mesh. I hope you find a solution. When back of my pc I’ll see if I can replicate
ok, thank you, but I need to know when bring from Zbrush, the character is stylized look. How you did this?? please any video for steps to do it this character like stylized from A to Z. /thank you
@@promptmuseIt'd be far more useful for me in Blender. I always sigh when I see you pull up Character Creator, because I'm not willing to spend $300 for a piece of software I will only occasionally dabble in. As soon as CC4 is pulled up the video stops being a tutorial for me.
Much praise for the creator for being so attentive to her audience! I absolutely think it’s wonderful how responsive you are to feedback. While I completely understand the desire for a Blender-only tutorial, I personally appreciate the integration of other tools alongside Blender. As a freelancer, efficiency and quality are key, and having access to a variety of tools can be a game-changer in achieving great results quickly. Your approach not only demonstrates versatility but also encourages us to think outside the box. Keep up the amazing work, and thank you for broadening our horizons!
Yeah, would have been much cooler to see without needing CC and Zbrush in the pipeline. Especially since the tutorial relies much heavier on these bloat priced apps than Blender. Should have been called "Easily use every other app to make characters that also load in Blender". (Advert for Zbrush and Character Creator)
thanks for your most helpful video tutorial! i have an question......i work with 3ds max and zbrush for modeling and substance for texturing and marvelous for cloth modeling......can i use 3dsmax for creat smooth rigging and then creat smooth animations or i must to learn blender or something else? because i learned before somebodies had said that 3dsmax is not suitable for creating animations so this so better to use maya or cinema 4d or blender. thanks alot.
You can use 3dsMax to sculpt/ Rig/UVW same with blender etc To be honest it’s what ever you find the easiest and most comfortable to use. There are 5 or probably more ways to create 3d characters. Never buy software because someone said it worked for them, but instead trial them for 30 days instead and ensure it works for you and you are happy with it and the results. Character Creator to Iclone for animation is a very simple work flow - But it can cost quite a bit. Everyone has opinion on what 3D software is the best, but ultimately it’s what works for you, your budget and timescale :)

Thank you so much, this has given me inspiration to start 3d modelling again!
Fantastic, it’s easy to get tangled up in the technical work for 3D and lose the creative drive !
Always something useful to be had in your videos, that clothing library sounds like something everyone needs to look into, thanks for letting us know about it!

Amazing! The only tutor I can watch&listen without interruptions
Thats an awesome workflow, character creator to zbrush and back again and character is already fully rigged 🤯! This saves so much time.
Thanks Joy, it might not be a free work flow but it saves time for sure ! 🔥

Amazing tutorial! This channel keeps getting better and better
Thanks so much !
I leave for a few months and when I come back, you've mastered Ultra Instinct. It's been an honour watching your skillset grow
I used to do this in Daz and Blender, but the character creator tool looks so much smoother. Thanks for highlighting it!
Awesome. I do like that you try and pack in so much knowledge and it's super informative. I have pointed my team to your channel as there is so much great stuff. Keep it up 👍

LOVE IT! I use CC4 and blender a lot and though I dont have zbrush, I still got a lot out of it! Thanks!!
CC + Z brush + Blender... invincible ❤❤
This was one of the best videos I've watched on RUclips. Amazingly helpful! You are awesome!!!
Amazing work. Different from the usual workflow but very interesting and efficient one. Keep up the good work

Amazing tutorial! Makes using software other than Blender feel like it’s not that complicated. Thanks so much for this!
Cheff's kiss. Perfection! Thank you for sharing. How streamlined this is! (Especially for hair and morphs).
These are cool, i’ve got a neat little hair plugin generator for zbrush as well.

Great video from all of us saving time in Character creator!
wow. super awesome. You're inspiring me to give CC4 another shot.
Awesome, there is a 30day trial to give it another go 👍
@@promptmuse I own it. I just hate Reallusion so hard. lol. You make it look too easy.
again animator here hahaha pretty cool to save time, learn all the ways to do whatever you want to in animation/modeling/etc and use it
I would LOVE more tutorials on CC4! ❤️
Could you make an in-depth tutorial?
Lol you didn’t use Blender at all to create the character.
For blender. Not "in blender"
awesome! super useful. thanks for sharing
Thanks for joining ! Thank you so much- hopping to go into detail in any sections anyone has trouble with!
Thanks for the knowledge once again!👏
My pleasure , I love making the vids ! Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment 🔥
this is cool, ive been trying to decide if its worth buying CC4 for awhile now, and your video has helped me to see how easy it is
Really Noise work. Loved it
A really good and In-depth tutorial! But easy is not the right description 😅
"FAST" aside ........Why only mention Blender in the title when it's the only software that has no relevance in this project? most of it was done in CC and ZBrush (both can render that pose and color easily).

The output is specifically for rigify rig in blender. So for Blender… the output is specifically for blender as states.
so much knowledge puhh.....amazing
What a fantastic video!!
Thank you for this, subscribed.
A hair tutorial would be excellent 👌
Great! 🔥
I Love the video thank you :)
Nice video Bu ... but ... blender can do all of this without relying on any other apps ... specially zbrush.
Great Job, i loved this video tutorial.

Although I do use plugins for blender as well 😂 But these is so many ways to make 3D characters this is just one 🫶
Nice workflow. I really wish ZBrush wasn't required and you could do all of this with just Blender and CC4.
Tbh you could just use blender for sculpting the CC model ! I use zbrush for the ease of coming in and out of CC 👍
@@promptmuse Good to know. Thanks and love your channel!
I really like this
Great guide
Thank you so much
It's kinda so cool that you can make a character not from scratch, to modify it and stick it back with still having the ability to use face rigging. Is it possible to add custom irises for eyes?
This is like six tutorials in one.
keep up the awesome work homie. Awesome vid.
You are an insane animation she monster ... damn! Love to see what you can do with Cascadeur and Marvelous Designer.
I've never seen this pipeline before. Using Generative AI as a baseline sure is helpful.
Thank you
Good workflow

creator such a beautiful
Great video 👌
Thank you!! Absolutely love this channel. So much great information
Thank you for watching and commenting !!! Much appreciated !
Loved the tutorial ! All made perfect sense. Can you do the same with quadrupeds? A tutorial on that would be masterful, maybe a cat 🐱
i used cc4 1 year ago and why i dont know its can made a stylized character like this.thanks for this
Great work.
Absolutely awesome ..You rock

It's good to see other great women in our field.
Have you tried doing the same process but instead using Character creation- using metahuman? I would love to see that workflow!
God I love British accent :D
This workflow is worth the $10 pateron cost alone. I just deleted CC and zbrush out of frustration.
Nooo, what were the issues?
Can you create a tutorial on the process of the skin in photoshop? Thanks, great tutorial
this is fun. I wish it worked on a Mac. Would you happen to have a work around for this?
excellent video
Thank-you so much
Awesome
uh noice, m using cc4 too for my stuff lol ✨
It’s a great speedy tool, I use to be a bit sniffy about morph sliders haha
When I import into blender, the Rigify Rig is in the T-Pose and the character isn't bound to it. Any idea how to fix this?
Thank you. How you use it the Photoshop to make the character like cartoon. Any video step by step?
