Me too. Found them about 2 weeks ago. Precious people need more like them. I am learning alot from Ms Brown and just Love Mr.Browns stories. We all need to learn to slow down and enjoy the simple life.
I love the idea of a cookbook, but I sure do like to hear Lori talk! I'm from the South too but I just love to hear her tell stories, give little tidbits of information and advice. It's inspiring. I have made her sauerkraut, canned pears, pear perserves, tamale pie and lots other things. I am such a fan.
I am so glad to find someone that cooks the way my mother taught her 3 daughters. We were taught the old-fashioned way. I truly believe that the way food taste, is from the love and the time spent in preparing it. There's no short-cuts to old-fashioned prepared food and the way that it is made. Thank you and your husband for being so down to earth and being genuine to your roots. The younger generations need to watch your channel, you teach of just everyday survival in a really messed-up world. God Bless you and your husband.
Thank you SO MUCH!! i love ranch dressing but can't eat any of it even the powder mix @ sams club due to the MSG. makes my joints swell n ache something FIERCE!! TEE HEE!! i can have ranch dressing again!! BOOYAH!!
I’ve used this recipe over and over and love it! I also love being able to keep the mix handy because I live in a very small town in the desert in Arizona. The stores here have a rough time keeping things stocked, especially in the winter when the snowbirds arrive. Often you can’t just run and pick up what you need or want!
Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.I stopped using the ranch package because of the MSG in it.MSG us a Neuro toxin and causes me to get horrible migraines.I can't use the Campbell cream of chicken soup either as one of the ingredients is MSG.Now I can make my own mixes and make those casseroles that call for cream of chicken and celery.Your a great teacher!
Me too! After a few times of using homemade spice powders, I can taste the chemicaly difference when I go somewhere and they have store bought dressing. I don't want to ever go back to store bought mixes. I need more recipes, though. What ones do you have?
Hi Lori, What a Great dressing mix to keep on hand. I used to keep the buttermilk powder on hand and I have completely forgotten about that. Thanks for the reminder!! The dressing looks creamy and delicious. Love, Mary ❤️😘❤️
Don’t get sick! I’m gonna have to see if my recipe is different. I also use the ranch dressing mix for Mississippi Pot Roast with my homemade onion soup mix. It’s so good! Oooh! German Chocolate cake is my favorite! My grandma had a special set of cake pans to bake hers in. And LOVED hearing Mr. Danny!

Danny, when my husband was living, I was always cooking too. He would ask me "Are you trying to make me fat". He enjoyed eating and I enjoyed cooking for him. Be blessed.
You should have dumped him as soon as he said that!!!!! Southern ranch is our lord and Savior and I hate to break it to you but your husband is now in a very miserable and unhappy place :(((!
Good ole southern country cooking. This was how I was raised although we lived in the suburbs. We always had home cooked meals and rarely ate out. Nothing beats a home-cooked meal!
Mr. Brown that's great! Thanks for sharing that tid bit at the end 😀.. Gotta' love it! And Lori I am definatley going to make that mix to keep on hand. Such a great idea. Thank you. Your videos are so enjoyable.

hymaintenance1 I have stored it both ways. I didn’t pay any attention the very first time I bought it and just kept what I didn’t use in the cabinet. When I opened it to use it again it was hard as a rock! I still used it 🤷♀️ but I literally had to shave it off with a knife! The ranch powder I mixed up didn’t harden anything like that though. I did store my next batch in the fridge and it stays more powdery in the fridge! So, either way is fine like you said just my 2 cents! Lol!

My husband thinks he has a new wife, because I am becoming a much better cook, and I am saving money. I already ordered the Buttermilk powder.
Thank you for sharing this recipe for ranch dressing mix!!!! I am soo thankful, because we don't have ranch dressing over here in Denmark. It was my favourite dressing when I lived in Canada. I grew up in Canada, my family and I moved from Denmark to Canada when I was 4 years old, in 1979. We then in November 1996 we moved back to Denmark. There are a lot of stuff that I really miss, besides my friends. Sending you lots of love from Denmark!!!💕💜💕💜💕🇩🇰
Ms. Lori, don't feel bad. I forget to plug in stuff all the time! Thanks for this recipe. I used to buy the Suddenly Salad mixes all the time, but I always had to take out the dried bacon bits for my hubby. I finally started buying regular ranch dressing mix and boiling the small macaroni, mixed mayo with the dressing mix an voila- -same as Suddenly Salad. I like to also toss cooked, deveined ,tail off shrimp in some Old Bay seasoning and mix in with the macaroni and dressing mix. Yummy! Now, I'll save even more with this dressing mix! Thanks again!
I will be making this healthier, money-saving dressing. Thank you, Mrs. Lori for sharing your recipes, time and Love. Thank you, Mr. Brown for your camera work, uplifting and sometimes funny words. Love You Both. You're the Best! God Bless!

So I want to say in closing keep up the good work and I thank you for what you do again. Your Canadian friend Shawn.
I made this up about 6 months ago and just used the last of it yesterday. I'm making more today. When I make my dressing, I mix mine with mayo, greek yogurt and a splash of milk. One time I got crazy and mixed an avocado into one of my batches and it was all gone in 3 days. Best stuff ever! Thanks again Lori.

Mr Brown You sure have a good woman! We all just love her. God Bless you both. She makes me think of my mama always when I watch her. My mama always made us home made bread every Wednesday. She cooked every day for eight kids and still had my daddy‘s bathtub ready when he walked in from work and dinner on the table. They don’t make women like that nowadays. I am so much like my mama and my friends all tell me it’s not right to treat my hubby like that, but I enjoy it and will continue doing so! I love cooking and like Mrs Brown has said. It is good for your mind. You find Peace within yourself when doing it. 🥰🥰🥰🥰😘😘 love and hugs to you both.❤️❤️✌️🇺🇸🇺🇸🙏🏼🙏🏼
