I don’t care how many times I see it, I giggle and smile when I see the clip of y’all dancing. It’s just such a feel good moment. 👩🌾💚👒
You are always so informative. I have learned so much from you. God sends you to us, to teach us. You are loved.
@@shellyavila9941 yes she is. I just really like them and their channel. 💛
I love that too.
I giggle every time also. I love it
I don't think spice mixes really "go bad", they just may be weaker. Go by taste.
The little dancing is they best! So darn cute! Should always be in your intro!!!!!
Thank you for the mixes. I make my own spice mixes as well. I find that the lighter herbs (dried rosemary, basil, etc.) will often separate to the top. Tip: I use coffee grinder on my mixes to grind them all together and no more separation.
Luv your channel and recipes 😍 I’m glad you said we can use less expensive seasoning for your mixes.👍
for any mexican dish or spices if you can get hold of mexican oregano instead of plain you will be amazed. It makes all the difference in the world and is that one thing you taste in mexican food you can't quite get at home without. I promise you won't regret it.
Totally agree. It can be hard to find sometimes.
I just throw in cilantro lol
You are soooooo right!
Nutrition Yeast is amazing! I use it in so many recipes especially in my homemade salad dressing.
Miss Lori your recipes always look so good, so being messy must be a sign of a good cook. You and Mr. Brown have a blessed week. Thank you for sharing.
I am way behind in video watching, but boy, I'm gonna have to get caught up! These mixes look amazing and the potato soup looks amazing. That's one of my favorite soups! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. Hugs, Brenda
Well hello hon, have not seen you in awhile, good to hear that sweet southern drawl! My garden is in and I can't wait to see yours!
Gotta watch those dollar store spices and make sure they are not from China who adds alot of not good things!
These seasoning mixes would make really good gifts!! I am really excited to make several batches for myself & maybe some Christmas gifts this year!!! Have a truly blessed evening!!!
I was thinking the same. I frequently bring meals to people in stressful situations. I was thinking the soup mix as well as the veggie broth would be an excellent accompaniment. Some people don't feel like eating or can't and I'm always looking for simple gluten free.
I'm not speedy had to watch three times went to fast with measurements dropped the phone and had to start over love ya
Thanks Lori for these mixes...they look wonderful. I received my cook book and just love it...I stayed up late that night and read it from cover to cover...now I can have loads of fun making the great recipes. Thanks again for all that you do for us all. God bless xox
Thank you
Thank you for these wonderful mixes! I even have the nutritional yeast on my shelf. I'm gonna make these up today!!!
You have fast become my favorite cook. I just love y'all to death. And even as old as I am, I am learning so much from you. Thanks so much.
Thank you so much, we appreciate you!
Miss Lori and Mr. Brown, I just received two of you cookbooks! I was so happy to receive them! I will keep one and gift one to my sister-in-law. I will use your cookbook a lot. Thanks for all your wonderful videos. So glad its gardening time again🥰 God bless you and your family....
Oh good, I’m really looking forward to receiving my cookbook ❤️. I’ll have to try the potato soup mix. There a evenings when my daughter is working and I don’t want to make up a big meal just for myself. Thanks for sharing, it’s always great to see your videos!
Thanks Miss Lori! Here in Alaska, we do appreciate good homemade spice mixes that are cheaper to make than store bought. The prices for food in the rural areas of our great state are expensive as it is fly-in only for anything we buy. Thank you for a great video!! The Polar Bear Club of the Arctic Circle gives your video three paws up!!! ʕ·͡ᴥ·ʔฅ ʕ·͡ᴥ·ʔฅ ʕ·͡ᴥ·ʔฅ Three Cheers!!
Those jars are so cute, great tips. Thank you for sharing Lori. Have a blessed evening stay safe and healthy. 🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤🥰🙏❤
Oh my goodness! Yes! I absolutely love cumin and use it on so many things! We love adobo and I have been looking for a homemade version! Thank you for these great recipes!
I absolutely love nutritional yeast and sprinkle it on stir fried vegetables! It is so good for you, just like you Lori! You make my day!❤️❤️
When she says , she will have a link below for the Potato soup mix, i don't see a link..
I dry can mine and add a couple of oxygen absorbers in each jar and mine will last a year in a dark cool pantry
👍😎👍❤️💕🥰😊🙏🙏🙌🙌. God Bless ! Thank you for sharing. Enjoyed this video very much.
Be Blessed, thanks for all Your recipes. Greetings from South Africa!
I put a clean un bleached cloth or parchment paper on work area. So that I can lift the spills and pour it into jar.
I can't wait to try the Adobo for sure. I Love it on Chicken and Pork. Its all I use on it and it's delicious everytime. Thanks for Sharing. Take Care and God Bless.

Hey Mrs. Lori. I love ya'll and I tried ordering a cookbook when you first annouced it and I sent an email that I am guessing was lost when you said your email crashed!
Would love to get a cookbook. Please put me on your long list!
Thank you so much.
MS. Lori can I dry my herbs in the oven ? No dehydrater. Love your channel. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us.
Where do you get your nutritional yeast? I love Cumin too ❤ could you put a 1 lb pkg of Cumin in your store...I can't find it in there? Also Paprika, smoked paprika, I couldn't find the green chili powder in your store but I am still looking for it
Hi Ms Lori!!! I received my COOKBOOK today, May 27th. ThankYou SOOO MUCH. I am READY to cook up something GOOD. There were a couple recipes I didn’t remember seeing you make,,, so I’m excited to make. 👩🏼🍳👩🏼🍳😋😜

Miss Lori, my Dad and I continue to enjoy your videos. When we get together we compare notes LOL. I noticed your pig on the shelf, and darned if I don't have the same one in my windowsill! He made me smile before, but he surely has an added shine now! Looking forward to more videos!
Sausage Spice - This is enough to turn 3 LBS of ground turkey into some very flavorful breakfast sausage OR keep it on hand, in a jar, to season whatever foods you'd like.
It uses ground herbs & spices. If yours are not ground into a powder, you can grind them yourself in a small cheap electric coffee grinder, that is used exclusively for spice grinding. (don't reuse it to grind coffee beans, or it will make your coffee taste weird)
There is no salt in my spice blends because I find that blends containing salt are very limiting. Without salt, I can add as much to my food as I want. With salt, I'd have to limit how much I use, or risk making my food too salty. So, I leave it out, preferring to salt my food, rather than my spice blends.
4 tsp ground sage
2 tsp ground fennel seeds
2 tsp ground thyme
2 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp garlic powder
2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp ground oregano
1 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp ground cloves
1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
All these sound good I need them in my pantry.. Ty 👍❤️
I’ve never heard of a pinto bean season… I’ll be making this one for sure. The potato soup mix is amazing. Love it💗 Now that these are all savory, is there a sweet seasoning you could make?!
Thank you for great ideas !
I love making my own mixes and seasonings! My only lament is I cannot find a replacement for McCormick Mild Taco Seasoning and Italian Dressing Mix. Otherwise I have made all kinds of mixes and seasoning. Love nutritional yeast too. And I put almost all of my mixes in tiny 4 oz canning jars. They fit almost everything for spices
Thank you for this. Got to have seasonings to cook. Love the flavor
Miss Lori you need to add cumin to the last recipe because you didn't and said in the video..oops..Blessings to you and Mr.Brown..❤️🙏
You must have that gene that makes nutritional yeast or brewers yeast taste good to you! I've had friends like you who like it. Both taste awful to me, lol I don't understand, are you making stir fry mix or fried rice mix? I just use salt pepper, soy sauce for fried rice.
Thank you for sharing this with all of us. I love watching your videos I learn so much. So nice watching the family of God. By the way I love your hair looks very young such a cute style! God bless have a beautiful day!💖🙏😊
I can’t wait to make all your season mix’s . I’m going to spend one day just making mix’s and dry rub and bbq sauce . Thank you so much for sharing 🥰🙏🏻✝️
Omg I have a boocoo of jalapeños that I need to do something with. They will be going in my dehydrator in the morning. Thank you!!!
I find it funny that spices alone last forever but as soon as you put two together...suddenly they only last a few weeks or months. I like to speak to these "experts". 😉
I'm like you, I will use them until I can't anymore.
Thank you for sharing your mixes. I can’t wait to see what you have next. I love your videos. You have such a kind voice 😊
Gosh you have books ??? Yippee yeah !!! ❤️❤️I am interested ❤️❤️❤️
Miss Lori, I’ve never heard of chili powder in adobo. What we do use is turmeric. Chili is more Mexican than Caribbean.
My question is, if these ingredients are shelf stable apart why would it only last 3 weeks? I'm new so I'm just asking.
Clarification please. For the fried rice seasoning: The video says 1 teaspoon of salt, the amount shown in the ingredients list is 1 Tablespoon of salt. Also the amounts of salt and pepper for the Adobo mix. How much cumin was it for the pinto beans seasoning mix.
You've become so wonderfully relaxed in front of the camera.
I have made just about all the dry seasonings and probably these too, but Ms Lori you forgot fajita and salsa seasonings. I love Mr Brown and you. Y'all are family.❤
I havent forgot, gotta more to do!
Miss Lori I just love your hair short and styled like you have it! You are so purdy! Also loved this video, but had to mention the hair first! Lol. God Bless. Xoxoxo
Error in written recipe. You have 1 tsp. Cumin, but in the video you put 1 Tbsp. In your mixture.
Hi Lori and Mr.Brown hope you both are doing good today.God bless you both.Love seeing you both dancing it awesome.Thank you for sharing these .God bless you today and always.God bless
Thank you for another great video. You guys are awesome.
I have a question about your pudding mixes. Can they be made with non-dairy milks such as soy or almond milk. I can not have dairy and want so much to use these mixes. I really appreciate the time you have spent creating these for us.
I think I'm going to cut stems off Cauliflower, slice thin and dehydrate, we don't eat potatoes.
Ty for the mixes. As someone who suffers from migraines I can't use nutritional yeast but, I sub out shelf stable parmesan in its place and it works well.
I would thank the seasoning would last as long as the earliest expire date on the seasonings . That's being used . Did a seasonimg company say they would only last three weeks . I wonder . Now if you have a window
In your pantry the sun light can cause your mixes to expire . Beans sounds so good .I have every thing to make it .
I don’t get the three week shelf life. I keep my spices for months (and even years sometimes) - nothing in the dry mixes is perishable so I’m wondering why the mixes shouldn’t last for months as well.
From my Mom: thank you for the seasoning recipes. Wish you had some of the seasoned spice mixes like rubs and salts.
Thank you so much for all that you do for us. And have a wonderful holiday season. 😘❤🤲🙏🏼
Nail polish remover will remove sharpie from glass and plastic as well as alcohol wipes. Anywho thank you for even more homemade seasoning mixes I have loved them all!
As a lazy cook, I. Use Montreal Steak seasoning for my beanss, yummy.
Can’t wait to try the soup!!!
Do you have a beef stew seasoning mix? I have to eat GF and some of the mixes may have wheat flour in them, so I have to be careful. Thanks in advance too!
Yum 😋 can't wait to try these spices Miss Lori 😃❤️
Spices n mixes change taste of our food . its a good things. Thanks Mrs. Lori!
I love your cream of whatever soup. And use it all the time. And the taco seasoning.
I'd love a whiff of the Adobo spice blend! I've never used any before.
Hello Lori, thanks for these recipes. Be well.
To me it's kind of silly to have expiration dates on homemade seasoning mixes.
I think along the lines of, the ingredients I put in have no expiration and I'm not putting anything that isn't shelf stable, so why would it suddenly need an expiration date?
If you're not adding fats or anything that needs refrigeration then it's safe as long as you keep it dry and in an airtight container
I just love watching you guys so much! Thank you for all the lessons yall teach your viewers. I'm coming to Williford this weekend from MS. I know yall live close to there. Hope yall have a great memorial weekend!
Thank you always! Can’t wait to make some of these. Thank you for the update on the cookbooks! I can’t wait to get mine.
Miss Lori, I add oxygen absorbers to all my spices now. No more bad spice mixes!
I went to amazon and there are several different yeast products, can you be more specific as to which one you are using?
I make all my mixes also...three months later mine are still good..I just keep my lids tight...
We love watching you bake, cook, gardening and make your mixes so thank you so very much for sharing what you love to do...God bless you and Mr. Brown
I have a question on your Fiesta Dip recipe. On the original kind it has tomato powder and some kind of corn powder. How do we add this to get that taste?
My youngest son likes to put the bean seasoning in his black eye peas, and his greens (turnip greens , and collard greens).
If I wanted to add some of the spice mix to the pint jars before pressure canning, how much per jar?
I rewind and watch it again! Lol!
Thank you Love from South Africa. Xx❤
Y'all are too cute 🙂 thanks for sharing!
Thank you couldn't get in on cookbook sight was down then you stop taking orders can't wait until you start back up
Hello dear♥️ I love making my own seasoning mixes. So yummy! I love my nutritional yeast. The littles say, “mama, make some cheesy popcorn.” Love y’all♥️♥️katie
I can't handle the heat either. I grow nadapenos. They have a very similar flavor with no heat.
I love that hold the boat hold the boat and as much as let you like human that would have been a something we call in our house a failure ism it's one of those terms we use no disrespectment to anybody but it's one of those if you know better why love you Lori these look really good take care and God bless
I was going to ask you if you did a cookbook and how could I get one. Does it have the seasoning mixes?
