You can do it way quicker if you don't pull all those panels off.
I need to do mine and now I know what to expect. Thank you!
I just checked my truck, and you can pull both steering wheel panels without pulling the big panel underneath..

Awesome video. I cannot thank you enough. Some clown tried to steal my truck… and in the process they jacked up the cylinder . Rather than get ripped off by the dealer …. I found your video and saved a ton of money. Thanks again

If the lock cylinder is worn out how is moving the old tumblers to the new lock going to help?

Great video. I removed all three panels as in the video. Now I put the key in and I can start the engine without wiggling the key and steering wheel.

What if the new cylinder came with new keys and the new cylinder has tumblers in it already? Just install the new cylinder and it will start right up with the new keys?

I went thru this process however I’m having issues with the theft system. Went thru the relearn process (which takes 30 minutes btw) and got the truck to start. Put the cover back on and then went to start it again and the same message about the theft system popped up. Any ideas?

Does anyone know the length of the 10mm bolt for the parking brake lever? I bought a used truck and the bolt is missing on the parking brake. Thanks in advance. I will try to find the answer and post it if I can somehow find it.
