GREAT, GREAT VIDEO and homage to Rocky - something wonderful that will be in my guts forever. But - here's why YOUR video is superior to so many other 'film location' vids: 1.)Your pictures are slow - we can actually SEE in detail and soak it in. 2.)You show the original footage and perfectly morph it into present day reality. 3.)NO idiot commentary and blabbing. Just the theme song, and the great pics. Great job, thank you.
Wow I just relived my youth. I walked by Rockys house every day for eight years to go to school. Grew up in Kensington and walked all of those streets. My husband and I were in the first Rocky, the scene where he picks up the drink and takes him in the bar. We were all outside the Bar hanging out but sadly got left on the cutting room floor. Thanks so much for this walk down memory lane.
This is how you know Rocky is on another level! Multiple People have done this. People come from all over the world and run up the art museum step and wait in line to take pictures with the Rocky statute! I live here i hang out at the art museum step at the bottom on my motorcycle! Iv done it multiple times and I have picture's of the Rocky statute and every motorcycle iv owed!
Wow!!!....brilliant job....memories....And a few tears, ROCKY was my father's favourite film, and brought back wonderful memories of us watching it together.....lovely times
I’ve lived in Philadelphia for decades and never went to some of these locations except the Philadelphia Museum of Art! Nice job! Hope nobody mugged you! Lol!
I live in NJ & have only been to Philly about 10 times. I live closer to NY so there isn't much reason to travel all the way to Philly. I had 2 friends meet up with me, one from Ohio & one from Virginia. We were meeting to go to a conference so I decided to take them on a mini tourist trip around Philly. Neither have been to Philly so I just did the basics. We started at the Liberty Bell. There us a very nice visitor's center there. I asked the clerk, "What do tourists ask information about the most?". Her answer was "Where are the Rocky steps & Rocky statue?" 😁...... I wasn't expecting that. There is even a Rocky statue by that information desk of Rocky in his sweats outfit & that that he wore running up the steps.....We past Gino & Pat's subs, went down the market street with the barrel fires, saw Ben Franklins grave ( you barely have to get out of your car unless you want to read what it says), and sat in front of the Museum steps. We sat for about a half hour just people watching. It was a beautiful day, and tons of tourists were running up and down the steps, raising their arms & jumping like Rocky did 40+ years later after the first movie. It was so much fun just to watch. The Rocky statue is off to the right in a tree covered area. Again, people were lined up to see our beloved Rocky. What a fun day. Wish we got to see more sites but we were limited on time. And an fyi, the benches that Rocky jumps over are right by Independence Hall which is right by the Liberty Bell. 🥊🥊
I came across this again by accident again as I commented 2 years sgo. Loved watching every second again. Half of the fun watching this is seeing the DELIGHT on your faces. I even got teary eyed! 😁
Rocky Unites ! He is / was so humble - at The 1st ROCKY ! GREAT that They have the scenery the same ! I am quite sure that there many youngster who would like to be like ROCKY ! Actually We are ALL ROCKY - You in Toronto and Us in Europe !
OMG !!! WOW !!! ONE OF MY FAVOR MOVIE .... I LOVE ROCKY HE WILL BE FOREVER IN MY HEART AND SOUL ... I MISS THIS CITY OF PHILADELPHIA .... I HOPE TO COME BACK AND FOLLOW HIS TRACK HERE !!!
Супер видео!!! Молодцы ребята!, Так здорово ещё раз посмотреть на те места где снимался легендарный Рокки и мой любимый Сильвестр! Большой привет из России! Мы тоже его обожаем!
Man, they really cleaned things up a lot since the 70s. I bet if you went to New York and did a taxi driver tour, it would probably be very similar in terms of how it looks.
I live in imperial valley, ca, ...glamis is a huge sand dunes in our backyard, they filmed Return of the Jedi there, only a select few know the actual location.
I tried a lot to bring back those days when I was completely taken by that fever but now I think I should move on but I still get that kicks which want to go back to the street
The apartments look similar to 1818 South Front Street, Philadelphia, PA, United States but that's not it. If it was filmed in Philadelphia. I think most of it was. You can see this in Instant Street View.

How many guys still live in Rocky fever?
I'm a 64 year old female & I was a fan from the beginning. Rocky will go down as one of America's most beloved film characters.
Yo, Rocky !! 🥊🥊

El exito de esa pelicula es la sencillez del personaje y la gran musica de Bill Conti ,ooh esos violines te hacen llorar

Wow! I'm enjoy with this video!
Great Job
I tried a lot to bring back those days when I was completely taken by that fever but now I think I should move on but I still get that kicks which want to go back to the street
5:39 so much nicer looking with less cars. Too much traffic always ruins places
I love Rocky .....
Should have took the 390 south to the US.15. A much nicer run with less traffic and nicer scenery through the mountains.
Cool vid, thanks!
It’s been a while but, when Mickey goes to see Rocky. Rocky lives in an apartment walk up. I wonder where that was.
The apartments look similar to 1818 South Front Street, Philadelphia, PA, United States but that's not it. If it was filmed in Philadelphia. I think most of it was. You can see this in Instant Street View.
