For $500-530 you can get a Sony a6000 + a Sony 16-70mm f/4 if you shop around on FB and eBay. Want smaller and lighter? For $500 you cannot beat the Olympus OM-D E-M1 - $350 + Lumix G 14mm f/2.5 for $150 or for $100 more the Lumix 20mm f/1.7. The weight of this set up is 497 grams for the camera and 55 grams for the lens or less than a pound. With the 20mm total weight for the camera and lens is 19oz.
You need to mark the times on your videos so people like me can skip ahead with no problem

Great picks.... if You travel to your neighbor. Canon and Fuji picks are antythesis of travel gear, XT5 is larger than Sony Full Frame (not to mention A7c) and build like chinese toy especially compared to tank called XT3, its dead if You drop it. I would suggest x100 but its too expensive (no fuckin clue why, but whatever) and traveling with one focal lenght is the stupidest thing I can imagine. Canon have G7X - really good APSC compact or something like R/Z 50 would be better.

I am an amateur newbie that I just want to upgrade my social media posts … I have an iPhone 15 but I think of buying a photo camera to have better video quality … and also to have specific better nicht shots also . I am between the Sony Alpha 7 III and fujifilm XT 5 and that’s because I saw your video where you were saying that it has better physical colours .
I am not a guy that I know many things about editing so I thought maybe the Fuji film is a better option for me , but I don’t know about the low light performance if it’s going to be good like the Sony, Which do you recommend ?
The Fuji line up offers multiple cameras that fit in the Travel Camera category and more. I personally prefer other Fuji cameras for travel like the XS 20 and the XT50. I personally do not know people who travel and vlog. The Fujifilm in camera film simulations are fantastic and make these cameras fun to use.

Best camera for travel is lumix gx9, body and some lens inside small bag.
Recently picked up the GX8 and the PanaLeica 15mm to test out. Debating between taking that or my A7Cii to Japan. So far the ISO performance is my biggest deterrent to bring the Panasonic. You need to boost the ISO a lot more compared to full-frame.
