Half the point of these cop shows are to show the point of the police and how they interact with both suspects and the general community. You clearly are missing the point of it. I so agree with this...I just came out as non-binary and prefer the they/them pronouns. I am still biologically female though (and I don't plan on changing that physically) so people use she/her all the time. It doesn't really bother me all that much, because, as I said, I am still technically a female...but I can see how it annoys people who are trans (or transitioning like our eldest child, now 23 and going FTM) to be dead-named and/or misgendered.
