- The DJI Transmission has found it's way into my FPV workflow and it's now something I can't live without. It's really been so powerful for me to be able to do better and better fpv filmmaking.

Dude, you amaze me. I was building drones and watching you years ago and all your stuff has always been cutting edge. Being 65 now I still have tons of interest in FPV but have dropped off with 53+ builds now and have a couple Lambos, Sur Rons, and many other sports to keep me out of FAA jail, but I will always come back for more Nurk... From before the crazy train, keep flyin bro! ;-)
Love seeing this with a FPV setup like yours. I'm in love with my DJI transmission! I film reality shows and use it with my two fx9's and they make life on set so much easier because now producers don't complain about video going in and out like with Teradeks. For price, simplicity, features and most importably dependability... DJi outdid themselves .
how did you manage to get that job? sounds like a dream come true
hard work, who you know, being nice to people and lots of luck!!! Been in the reality tv game since I by luck got a MTV internship in the early 2000's and made it so they would'nt let me leave! ha! @@jaxonbmx2699
Badass, I'd love to work with equipment like this one day.
Love my DJI Transmission system! For some reason though I have issues with 2.4 not being very solid. Time to dig more into it. Thanks Nurk!🤙
Keep kicking ass man, this is sick!
Thanks Nurk!
nice setups!
these can be used so many different ways and I feel like we haven't even come close to their full potential yet
Mybad brother I didn't know you had a 1k transmitted but can you make a tutorial on a at9s pro for long range flight drone the explorer280 with fail safe rtl ect please show the remote settings please
In yes I'm just getting started im upgrading slowly but shortly please help brother
In I'm a new subscriber 😊😊😊❤❤❤
Does anyone have experience with this system in the public safety world?
Especially firefighting, rescue, SAR or HazMat work, where situational awareness is the goal.
We traditionally take an HDMI wireless link system (FeelWorld, HollyLand, Terradek, etc) and feed the controller output to the transmitter and attach the receiver to a bulky field monitor (generally mounted in a heavy “Pelican” style case).
The drone operator then transmits what he/she is seeing to the incident commander or command post.
Having loved the DJI OccuSync system compared to Autel, etc, I’m convinced this product will be just as good in terms of range and penetration. Especially on a heavy RF traffic scene.
The question is… how clear, bright and RUGGED is the remote handheld monitor with integrated receiver?
Would it hold up on a fire scene?
Thanks!
How did you activate the mimic mode? I'm struggling to find a tutorial on this.
still rocking the stock antennas ? I have ordered a set of high gains for the receiver. Also just flashed from CE to FCC but there's no way to tell for sure if it is now giving full power before testing.
Will test long distance when I receive the new antennas later this week.
Love this video wonder what Micheal Izquieda is doing with this transmission system
great job Mate, i have buy a dji transmission, with a monitor but without handles, maybe i could be buy.....
Unless I'm missing something, how did you get the fpv goggle feed to the transition screen?
Great video. How doea it work with inspire 3?
Do you use blue loctite when mounting that lowes angle mount?
Considering the size and price is it better than herelink?
On the X8 cinelifter with the Ronin and fx6 mounted on top it looks like you are running maybe 4-6s@4000mah batteries in parallel? What are your flight times with that camera setup and battery combo? (Or is it 12s with 2- pairs of batteries in parallel?) Keeping up with charging for an hour or two of filming has gotta be a mega pain in the …!!!
Im planing to rip the guts out of the Tx and make a nacked one to be able to mount it onto my smaller lifters. For example to the le pigeon or the Lumenier qav 5 incher connected to the BMPCC. Curious...
IS THERE ANY WAY TO RECORD THE PATH JUST FLOWN AND REPEAT IT independtly of the wind etc like real time way point just like the dji drone
💪
don't know if this ties somehow into this topic...but DJI just released a new firmware with a new zone database, and for germany all geofencing restrictions were turned off. there are still some "warning zones", but they are only the size the former nofly-zones were. wondering if the rest of europe follows. just wanted to give my two cents.
Don’t think it ties into this specifically… but yea I noticed that too, it’s really weird and you have to be more careful as it’s still illegal to fly over a prison or an airport etc (in the Uk at least) I think DJI want us to check the flight maps for our specific country now instead of using theirs so they don’t have any liability
@@rex1x486 I think these zones were originally thought for maybe the states or mainland china, with their over the top restrictions and maybe following custom restrictions(without DJI drones would have been banned since years in US...they just bought some years for them). And since we got now regullar EU laws in place wich top DJI regulations any time....just not needed. (and a killer criteria for Verbände)
Two videos in two weeks? You feeling alright man? 🤒🤣
sorry for a random question, but what angle are you keeping the camera that is feeding your goggles at?
is it same depending on type of flying? say indoors with a Shendrone Squirt - that's slow flying right? or shooting that golfer that's faster? same angle? diff angles?
it seems one needs to re-learn flying FPV when adjusting the angle, so I'm not sure if I can be good at flying at two different angles...
adjusting the angle doesn’t have much of an effect after a battery or two of adjusting
@@memefpv hmm.. okay.. I spent quite a bit of time in Velocidrone with an 8 degree angle - wanted to learn to fly slowly
then felt I didn't have enough speed in the gates, switched to 25 degrees, now I'm just falling off the sky :)
actually I'm still interested how that slow flying indoors is commonly done with ppl around e.g. at which angle of fpv camera
@@user-rs5jf1bv9e lower camera angle is what helps fly slowly, using extremely small stick movements.
raising the camera angle allows for faster movement since the drone has to tilt in order to “see” straight ahead. it does affect the different axis’ a bit, but try going to 15 before jumping to 25
i use an angle between 0-10° for indoor/whoop flying
😮😮😮
0:57 That shot is really weird, it is like an optical illusion, it makes the camera look 2 inch square
🤔
So...Catalyst is no longer a working sponsor? I mean, if they are making you the face of their company and not answering their emails...I feel like you are the only person left that has their name associated with them...
Why does everyone always say “range and penetration “ exactly. It has to be a dji sponsored talking point. Literally every RUclipsr says “range and penetration” when comparing dji
Well maybe the first system with improvement on both ' range and penetration ', was manufactured by dji
I'm on analog and range is great miles and miles line of sight. Behind some structures, penetration is not so great.
Anyways, walksnail avatar hdzro gotta have some range and penetration too ehh 😏
Come up with 2 different words
What else is there? When I fly (I never use DJI) I sometimes fly behind stuff... that requires (signal) "penetration." When I fly sometimes I fly far away from my location... that requires (signal) "range."
What else is there? Please enlighten us.
