    Such a lovely recipe. Please what can i substitute potash with.? It always upset my stomach

      You can substitute with ngo. It ash gotten from the head of palm nuts. After the palm nuts have been removed from the head, that middle remaining is burnt to ashes. Then the ash is soaked in hot water and sieved. You can store it in a bottle for as long as you want. It is a good substitute for potash and doesn't cause purging like potash does.
