I explained to her that they were in Ghana Africa and she said, Daddy i want to be a African child, their voices are beautiful, if i had that voice i would sing all the time like (and proceeded to sing one of her favorite songs). Im from the rural country side in Jamaica and we have Ghanaian roots so its my mission to make to Ghana in short time.

SisiYemmieTV Hi! Are you familiar with cooking with shea butter? I no it is possible from the research that I have done and there's a beautiful gal from Ghana that also has a RUclips channel and once did a video about cooking with shea butter as was customary in West Africa, & the dish looked delicious too! So I just want to know if eating and using shea butter in food is exclusive to *West Africa or Ghana.* Every authentic African restaurant or grocery store that I inquired about it, laughs in my face. Although, they have not been from West Africa, which leads me to think, maybe cooking with shea butter is not so much a whole African thing, but maybe just an African *regional* thing. Do you have any insight on this?
US VI : But the natives welcomed and accepted him along with his son and crews into their mist with no discrimination, and here you are giving him credit for allowing his child interact with the local children? Interesting!
This makes me cry. this must be how our forefathers welcomed the whites, with all innocence, and now here we are. what a betrayal of humanity but what an amazing people. despite all the odds, we do not allow the wickedness of the world change our expression of love.
I know exactly what you mean. It pains my heart to see and hear what my people went through and are still going through. But with due time all will be well again. And i will make sure to be apart of yhe progressive and help where ever i can.
@déjà vu Doesnt matter. I know those ppl knew nothing of CHATTEL slavery. The wickedest most inhumane act known to mankind was the diaspora from West Africa, headed by the European to attain White Supremacy and global power. No matter how it began, the acts done by the European is still the highest standard of evil ever.
@déjà vu How can you not blame the European for his own actions from the slave castles they built off the gold coast, to the atrocities in the Americas? That makes no sense. A whole constitution was written off the backs of Africans, who were known as 3/5 of a human being and treated as animals. The European did that, let's not down play all that history.
@déjà vu But that literally IS the narrative. Part of the narrative is also what you mentioned but that's beside the point. Every nation sold war booty to other nations for indentured servitude not chattel slavery. As a matter of fact the word "slavery" itself denotes a Slavic Euopean, the original slave. But the word slave doesnt denote treating humans as chattel, as the Slavic Europeans were never treated as chatell, they retained their culture, languages and customs, and that's the difference. When the motive and programming is that you're so called race is superior and the people being enslaved are not humans but liken to horses and cows (cattle), it defeats your narrative of Nations and tribes selling war booty. Chatell slavery was introduced by Europeans, that where every thing went wrong, not Africans selling Africans, and that's just a small portion. You gotta think about all the other tribes that directly fought the European on their own land, with no involvement of warring tribes. You gotta think about the hate the Spanish had for the BlackaMoor, the story is way bigger than African tribes selling each other. Much more poltics that led to evil deeds than that narrative.

This brings me back to my time in Ghana. All the little kids coming together saying "Hello, Hello, Hello" It was amazing! Everyone was so nice in Ghana, I loved the people and the food. One of the greatest and most welcoming countries I have ever seen.
The food is the highlight of your videos, but in this one I am moved by how your family of three was warmed into the village family. Thank you for one more emotional experience.
That’s why I miss home, beautiful and friendly

AFRICA IS THE BEST CONTINENT
am so proud to be African
Thats why africans migrate to lovely Europe! Im so proud of being European!
poisoninyourcoffee wolvesoftheforest yes because europe stole all of our natural resources and continues to do so to this day. so now we all love europe😂😂😂
@@khalido50ko You love Europe because you are starving in your corrupted underdeveloped countries. Dont blame Europeans for what you are guilty for. The dictators you have in Africa do steal natural resources and kill Europeans volunteers who go there to help the poor and vaccinate children. Dont have so many wives and children you cant keep! Irresponsable and lazy people! 😂🤣😂🤣😂
@@poisoninyourcoffeewolvesof5182 Enough with this arrogant speech. We come to Europe for work okay it's obvious but we must respect each other as simple as that no one is lazy mine your speech next time. you've never been to Africa i guess
you can enjoy your continent as you want. However you see Africa either poor or whatever we still love our continent and trust me this rich land is gonna be awesome one day i promise, Europeans are races people....
Ur afrika is best in the world. U r so friendly I love u from india

Truly funny, Gallant.
This made me so emotional, how they love life so much and the love they have for those that visit their community. Thank you Mark for sharing their beautiful, extravagant, unique food culture with us.
The diversity and bond you establish to the people in the country you visited is overwhelming Mark 😊👍 That's why we love to watch your videos! 👌

Wow. This particular series has made you officially the best foodie on youtube. You are wow. This was amazing, honestly. You didn't judge, you just did. I almost cried man.
Mark is such a foodie and loves African food so much! He gets so excited and I love that for him! Lol
Yes he looks so greedy lol
Literally seeing the village I thought about myself. I deeply thought about my life. I find I have so many things in my life like food, home, mobile, computers, internet, lavish clothes, electricity, water and so many things that I can't count. But after seeing the video I am in tears realising that I have not a bigger heart than them. One who has a big heart is the richest person. This video made me super thoughtful about life and people living across the globe.
Robson Jani here in the Western, I hear a lot of ppl complaining and suffering frm depression. I always beg them to visit “ a real” african region at least once. one which is not westernised. such a trip will be a complete eye opener for you. mindset changer which lasts forever.magical
Gianna D agree 100%. Some of the best things and experiences in life are hidden from view and known to a few.
Literally 99% won’t see this but GOD blesss you be safe during these times I’m strugglingg to hit 5k🙏🏽
My 4 year old daughter came running to look when she heard the kids saying Hello hello at the school.
SouFLoTV hahaha aww that’s so cute ! Yes come visit we would love to have you in Ghana ❤️❤️

Wow, impressed with simplicity of villagers and beauty of Africa. This is one of the best video from Mark, also capturing culture. It was amazing to see how his son gets mixed with all kids..
Learnt from his dad😊
Beautiful...beautiful💜
This is lovely how Mark is raising his son in TRUE LOVE. To love all people is a gift. Mark and his family will always be loved and respected amongst many cultures. His heart is pure. Eating and living amongst this culture means Mark and his family is now, family and friends of this culture. Raising his son up this way is priceless. Mark in so many ways is teaching his child from the roots of his life that love, bares no color. Mark has a lovely wife. Beautiful, Blessed family. May God continue to Bless Mark and his family to travel the land all while spreading TRUE LOVE and enjoying and respecting each culture becoming family with many.💕💖🙏🙏👊👊😊
Amazing Mark! Am a Ghanaian and to be honest you've done a great job, woaw what an adventure
AFRICANS are very hospitable. Love from INDIA.
Loved this video on so many levels. The wholesomeness of the social interactions. The children all socializing. Loved seeing Micah with all the friendly children. The wholesome community structure. The wholesome, natural unprocessed food. This is how life is meant to be. Our modern communities are so isolated. Thank you for this lovely video.

Mark .. this has got to be one of the best posts I've seen on any food adventure. The people are wonderful, the kids are adorable, and happy. The food looks really good. I love the hospitality, the cultural aspect and exposure is wonderful. The children really reflect the pureness of their hearts ... God bless them for the simple life they live and as you said, we all can learn from them. Thanks for exposing us to Ghanaian cuisine. Thanks for sharing and I look forward to more from you.

Seeing this video shows the fact that racism and prejudice is not something natural, it's just something that bad people want to express. Amazing video, so much pure happiness and joy, so much emotions! Thank you Mark!!!

Hi!
Are you familiar with cooking with shea butter?
I no it is possible from the research that I have done and there's a beautiful gal from Ghana that also has a RUclips channel and once did a video about cooking with shea butter as was customary in West Africa, & the dish looked delicious too! So I just want to know if eating and using shea butter in food is exclusive to *West Africa or Ghana.*
Every authentic African restaurant or grocery store that I inquired about it, laughs in my face.
Although, they have not been from West Africa, which leads me to think, maybe cooking with shea butter is not so much a whole African thing, but maybe just an African *regional* thing.
Do you have any insight on this?
Omg...the kids in the village are too cute! I just smile when I see their curiosity and in no way shy of showing it. They are all smiles. 😀
callmelyn73 awesome village of gana
I love them. Those children so sweet and beautiful. Food looks amazing. I want to go there see the country and those amazing people. Love this😍😢

This video warmed my heart. You dont judge or refrain your son from interaction with any other race or nationality. BEYOND BEAUTIFUL!!
US VI : But the natives welcomed and accepted him along with his son and crews into their mist with no discrimination, and here you are giving him credit for allowing his child interact with the local children? Interesting!
Happy Ness unfortunately that’s the deluded mentality most of these folks from western culture have.
You don't see a food tour like this every day

4:47 AWH THE BOY ON MIKES SHOULDERRRR! I frikking love Ghana omg.
This makes me cry. this must be how our forefathers welcomed the whites, with all innocence, and now here we are. what a betrayal of humanity but what an amazing people. despite all the odds, we do not allow the wickedness of the world change our expression of love.
@déjà vu slave trade wasnt actually europeans didnt warn or anythin they just start fireing
My tummy my heart my soul is filled with smiles watching this. Such a beautiful soul mark! Much love from Philippines. Beautiful African culture i love the dishes! Peace yall!
I honestly admire Mark's ability to see the good in every little aspect of his life! Not many people would have been able to travel the world, trying out various dishes and make a living out of it. His desire and perseverance honestly inspires me! I'm off to college in a few months, Mark and I aspire to be like you. Keep doing what you're doing dude, because it definitely keeps me going!
