Nice video 🤩. Jenny prepared it in the right way the Igbos do. Secondly, Jennifer please note, don't ever apologize for being too Igbo like you mentioned in the Video. Be proud of your Identity, you owe no one an apology. There is nothing like "I'm too Igbo" okay. If being Igbo makes anyone uncomfortable, that's on them not you. You are who you are for a reason ❤. You are IGBO and that's on Periodt 💯🥰😍
I love love this. Jennifer also added some vibes and good energy to make it all fun. I enjoyed every bit of the video. Hope to see more of her in your kitchen .
Nice one Ify and Jenni, I'm about preparing isi Ewu now and I had to come refresh my memory 😂 I'm using Ngu (palm ash) instead of the potash tho, like we do when we go to the village 😂
Such a mouth watering dish. Ill definitely try this soon. Thank you Jenny for the good vibes of an Authentic Igbo Ada.❤❤ And of course, thanks Ify for bringing her to share your kitchen❤
Hi Chef Ify 👩🏾🍳👸🏾👑 your guest Chef Jenni👩🏾🍳 didn't disappoint, the spicy goat head🐐 looks seriously flavourful, aromatic super delicious, Yummylicious & unbelievably finger😋 licking tasting exceptionally good with unimaginable bursting of flavours in your mouth, soo amazing and just soo Scrumptious.👌Well done both of you for entertaining us 😂😂😂👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💖💖💖💐💐✌🏽
I love Ify's videos because it's full of explanations that would make you become a pro in whatever food you may like to prepare ❤. And this your guest is too much in her explanations too, and she is gorgeous to look at, and that will make the Isi-ewu go well with palm wine alongside stout 😅
Awesome video, you were just speaking to me indirectly 😢. With your words of motivation and encouragement I shall achieve my dreams of sharing recipes videos and having my own RUclips channel. God bless you ❤
What species did you use to stem the goat head?? Jenni and aunty Ify , this vibe is extremely awesome. Laughing as if am eating the nkwobi with you guys😂😂😂
In my place we call it Ngwongwo and we don't use the goat head alone. We also add the offals of the goat and some meat with it. However, we don't usually add ukpaka or ugba to it. That, is another dish on its own or in combination with nsisa (dried sliced cassava strips or the wet version of it called abacha). We can also use the broader sliced version of the cassave, called mpataka but this is most favoured eaten alone with coconuts or groundnuts. I suppose that different parts of Igbo have varied combinations and versions of these ingredients, and they have different names for them. All in all, I believe the main base for these recipes is the sauce, the potashed oil called ncha, which to me, serves the same purpose as the salad cream to a salad.
but this is not fair sha...you just pride yourself in making people drool and attempt to lick their screens! see me swallowing while you were doing the eating😭send me some plss😭
Nice video, but next time don't fix nails to the kitchen, cover your hair with cap and don't wear jewelry to the kitchen, don't wear makeup please. You are shaking your hair too many times, a strand might fall into the food. Too bad.
Nice video 🤩.

Nice one Ify and Jenni, I'm about preparing isi Ewu now and I had to come refresh my memory 😂 I'm using Ngu (palm ash) instead of the potash tho, like we do when we go to the village 😂
Good, but I am thinking, we should use Ngu instead of potash for health reasons, but in all it's beautiful
I had a different pattern but this looks easy and tasteful……I’m definitely trying this tomorrow 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Hello viewers, can anyone kindly suggest any other thickener to use in place of potash?
Baking soda
Thanks for this @@godlover1606
You can use ngu gotten from burnt palm front and leaves or you can use burnt plantain leaves.
What is upaka plse, am from Cameroon n wish to try this out. Thanks
It's called oil bean.
Must we use goat brains? I want to make it with other parts of the goat so I wouldn't be getting the brain. So must be brain be involved?
