Great video. When i installed the top arm I didn't have to lift the unit. All I had to do was tilt the head forward/motor to the rear until the upper arm cleared the head. This was very simple, including the cable connection.

    "Don't forget the strap".....Hahahaaaa!
I only laugh because I just installed my Force this past weekend and DID THE EXACT SAME THING!
The installation instructions were detailed and explicit. And it explained to NOT FORGET THE STRAP.
    Totally my fault.
I had the strap laying next to the lower mount in anticipation of proper installation and to NOT FORGET THE STRAP.
As luck would have it, I had to remove the trolling motor bracket for my boat so as to be able to bolt the trolling motor lower mount to it.
While trying to install the mount to the bracket I FORGOT THE STRAP!
I discovered that while I was clapping myself on the back for doing such a nice, clean install.
AND THEN I SAW THE STRAP!!!
    Oh well.
There is more than one way to skin a cat. I cut the strap and burned the ends to keep them from unraveling.
I then used a two hole straight bracket and placed it over the strap. I used a nail heated with a torch to burn two holes in the strap
I placed the strap against my trolling motor bracket and laid the bracket on top of it, lining up the holes and then ran 3/4" stainless steel sheet metal screws through the bracket and strap, into the mount.
    Worked perfectly!

Where does the 2" X 3" rubber patch go? Lost my assembly instructions. Power cable is 14" from motor connection to cable tube. It gets in the way of the pull cable when it's floppy like this installation.

Can you do a DETAILED video on the power wiring?
The "dual power" cables have me a bit confused in regard to the "two positive and two negative, cables, with eight cables total required to six connections".
I am not following what you are talking about and I sure as hell don't want to screw up this motor!
The motor is mounted to the boat, but I am still working on running the power cables for the motor and transducer.
    Any help would be appreciated.
