*Great little trolling motor **enjoyable.fishing** recommend had it hooked up to my 15 foot old town canoe and it pushed it pretty good with me and my son (220 pounds each).*
Best honest reviewer ever. Keep it that way. Do a follow up review on the force after a couple months. I'm leaning to it because I want an one brand boat. With the new g3 navionics/garmin maps and nav makes garmin a game changer in my 2 1/2 cents
Great video, my question is do you know if the 57” Force trolling motor would work on a 17’ Tracker Targa? I haven’t seen any videos with the force mounted on a deep v boat.
Great piece on information on the prop switch out. Probably the only thing worthwhile on the Minn Kota Rip Off is the prop. Waiting for that turd to break again now to upgrade to something else.
I'm planning to order a ECHOMAP UHD 93sv with the GT54 transducer. I've also been toying with the idea of getting the Force. Do I gain anything by having two GT54 Transducers(1 transom mount, 1 trolling motor mount). Could I save $150 by ordering the UHD 93SV without the transducer and only use the one on the trolling motor? The downside that I see is that I would only have a transducer in the water when I have the trolling motor down. Thoughts?
Brand new owner of the Garmin Force. Used for first time yesterday. Questions..... If I get hung up shallow, get in lay downs, and so on. How can I lift the trolling motor AND still use it to get away, get off things? If I unlock and start lifting it wants to store to the side and will not operate. How do I turn this off or bypass?
I'm a little worried about using the foot control because I won't have a recessed. I'm a weekend warrior, will my leg be killing me after a day on the water? I don't want to be dependent on remote.
I run an old school cable drive trolling motor without a recessed pedal box. It can be a bit annoying after a day of fishing, but a good butt chair to lean against makes a world of difference. Even without the recess, I think this would be more comfortable after a whole day of fishing because it will stay pointed at the heading you leave it at instead of spinning when you don't have your foot on the pedal.
Has anyone replaced the transducer in the Garmin Force yet? Mine broke the first time fishing and Garmin says it’s not covered under warranty. I can’t believe how easily the transducer breaks. I need instructions on the install, can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks
boospruce mine has not broke but I want to ask how is your anchor lock? Mine takes me on a roller coaster ride. Would like to know how others have experienced it cause mine is pretty bad. Don’t know if I got a lemon or what
LegendaryDHT lower the gain setting on your anchor lock and make sure to software version for the trolling motor, and remote are up to date. I believe the newest update for trolling motor helps with the unneeded movements when anchor lock is engaged. Reply if this helps you.
Only thing I hate about this unit is the remote control. Typing in passwords and the scrolling takes way too much time. I still prefer the MK remote, hands down.
This video is lacking. You spend time bragging about how easy it is to stow, but you don't show it, you just raise it partially. There really isn't any meat in this review.

Thanks for letting us listen to the head on the trolling motor. Nobody else seems to do that. I like an unbiased review.
Another great one! Thank you!!!!!

Where would a LVS32 mount on the Force? Is there a cable management system that allows spot lock to work without twisting up the LVS32 cable?

What's your top gps speed with the 36v?
I want one so bad 😤

Why would you run with only a trolling motor transducer on an expensive plotter? Wasted of money
How is it for saltwater use?
how is the spotlock/anchor compared to ultrex? is it accurate?
I wish they’d make 72” shafts for us salmon guys....
Is there a way to hook that transducer to an Echomap Plus 93sv?
You may have to buy the uhd box
Not true. You can use it just the way it is, you just won’t have HD. Use the NMEA network.

Did you figure this out? I will need to do the same if I purchase one of these.
@@stephenmckinney4152 no sir. I have yet to bipass this auto stow... to escape shallow water and hazards.

Does anyone know If you can turn that god awful beep off?
Needs a slimmer foot pad and why the hell didnt they build the panoptix into the head unit-thats how you change the game.

Just got mine. Haven't ran it yet. I'm worried about the amount of lag I seemed to have seen in this video..
Let us know about the lag. I am also curious on this vs the ultrex and ghost
Will the UHD Ducer work with my 93sv unit? Thanks
Yes. You won’t have HD but it will be as good as the 93 can do.

The wires are terrible looking and overall it looks somewhat cheap.
