- In this video we do an installation of our brand new Garmin Force Trolling motor. The main reason we got it is because the other trolling motor isn't enough lbs of thrust and it was cheap for the boat. Also the Garmin trolling motor can connect with all of ur Garmin fish finders which is super cool. You can program the trolling motor to run certain routes. This trolling motor is also super smooth and very quiet. No, the GT 56 is much longer than the 54.
What batteries are you running and what ah?
I run (3) 50 ah Ionic lithium for my trolling motor and a 125ah Ionic for my electronics.
@@pdfishing5625 how do you think two 12v 50ah ionics would do? I fish lakes and won’t go out in rough stuff so rarely going above a 5 or 6 prop speed

@@Tightline_MN if it’s 80lbs on a 24v system you should be just fine with (2) 50ah.
