The skatings good, although everything is low and mellow. But when I watch skateboarding I'm not lookin for a cliché sport image full of corporate bullshit and annoying announcers who are announcing to people who don't skate. Every time I hear them explain what fakie and switch means I die a little inside and the image and respect I have for skateboarding fades a little. When I watch full lengths or pros just fucking around in the streets and doing what they want I get hyped because that's the shit that makes me love it. Competitions are fine but this is just too fake and too far from what skateboarding means to me. Plus none of the dudes in the vid would even be in my top 100 favorites.

Jfrancomirones. JFMC What the fuck would it matter if I could or couldn’t do it? That’s has nothing to do with what I’m saying. In comparison to a tre flip noseblunt down stairs, Yuto’s truck does not deserve a higher score. No flip trick, he used a ramp and a flat bar. Non-comparable. I would’ve given Yuto a mid-8 and a high-8/Low-9 for the tre flip noseblunt.

Why would a bigger flip front board score a lot lower than Yuto's spinning lip slides? The bigger flip is much harder and more technical in every way. Wtf is going on here

it's fair lol that's why one skill you need to have is good decision making, participants can decide depends on the situation, what they need is score not necessarily a different routine

I'm positive that switch back tail shove out on that tall ledge is way harder harder than a gap back shove it back 50/50. Apparently the judges don't think so.
