I agree. I started entering contests in the mid 80's and and you had to nail a whole run of 45 seconds to a minute. I do like best trick too however and appreciate that they get a handful of attempts to land something that's a bit much for a run. I'd appreciate seeing both forms of skateboarding equally in a contest setting. Both are difficult and different

Go back to the format where a run score counted and rewarded consistency and rewarded taking risks with difficult tricks thrown into the run. One of the best super crowns ever! I may not be the biggest fan of Jagger but he 100% deserved that win, a bit sad for Shane though, 9.5 to start things off and he tries and fails the same trick 3 times, like at the olympics and tried switch tre double flip 4 times and never landed it and got a high score in his run section, he just seems to have some sort of OCD issue lol or is a bit stubborn in his own head, he has so many tricks in his bag and could surely pull something else out if the one trick isn't working

Seriously, what is going on with the judging lately. The berrics, and now SLS. Well, then again, they totally robbed Tiago on the uphill 50-50 in some other competition. Hopefully it's not a trend against brazilians, or just the continuing nyjah trend.

Jagger’s run to start the comp, straight out of the gate, to set that tempo and standard was absolutely incredible. Well deserved. He was on fire that day and I’m happy for him and his fans.
I know you either love Nyjah or don’t care too much for his style, but that’s been my dawg since pimpin been pimpin and I’m always pulling for him. He has a few trophies to look at back home, regardless of not placing on the podium in this year’s SLS SC Finals.
Great skating across the board. Love it!!

Nyjah já ganhou mtos campeonatos já tá bom, já tá milionário, tá na hora de dar a chances pros novatos ganharem também e ser felizes em sua trajetória do skate.

Congratulations Jagger. And Rabelo gets a 9.3 for a Frontside 270 'switch backside tailslide' and an 8.9 for a Nollie 270 'switch backside tailslide' when the Nollie 270 'switch backside tailslide' is harder to do!

I’m not a skater but have been watching SLS for about 10 years and think Jagger Eaton is the most exciting new face on the scene since Nyjah. He’s had an amazing rookie season. He’s killed IT and looks like he’s having the most fun.
