Right, like a Decenzo win would've been great, but to see Kelvin come back after getting screwed on some scores and then win on a last trick with a justified score is also great

How guys at this level don't have at least ONE backup board on hand is beyond me.
They all have sponsors for deck/wheels/bearing/etc, but they probably don't keep a full setup on hand bc once you have a board worn in switching to a fresh complete would be a nightmare (trucks not grinded in, bushings not perfectly worn, etc).

I love how everyone is so postive in the skate community. Especially when Gustavo didn't do so well people still clapped for him!!!!
Wasn't always like that lol There was a lot of broke years in the passed, it took a long time for it to get to where it is now.
One of the best things and my favorite thing about these competitions is that the skaters genuinely love when other people do high caliber tricks. There always seems to be so much hype from each other for doing well.
This was the tightest final ever. Had me on the edge of my seat at the end.

They rate the runs so low that they don't matter at all after the trick section. So many high scores in the trick section yet no one was able to put down consistent great runs like Eaton and Decenzo yet those don't get a 9
Yeah, the scales are off. Now that runs don't even have to count, they almost feel like a warm-up before the actual competition. I love watching runs though so I'd prefer 1 Run Score + 4 Best Tricks - that way the run score is basically the bonus that tips the scale.

I've had the pleasure of meeting all these guys personally at Tampa Pro. Kelvin's style and the way he stomps his landings is just awesome. Glad he got another Street league 1st Place win.

The scoring for nyjahs first run was just ridiculous. Average run with a bail and he's getting a 6.9 anyone else would have been lucky to get a 5 for that effort 😂😂
