    Kelvin got underscored on first run by at least 0.3 points imo. Same for Nyhah. That almost perfect first run would have deserved an 8.6 or 8.7. Yuto maybe got a little to much. A 9.1 I had understood but 9.3? Dunno.

    • @sub.consciousnz1312
      @sub.consciousnz1312 10 месяцев назад +13

      Agreed and you could see it on Kelvin's face - he's sick of the scoring being skewed. I would guess it also has an effect on his consistency afterwards, not only does he have to try for more difficult tricks to make it up, he's also tilted. Yuto just gets a free +0.2 or +0.3 for being Yuto

    • @joshuamills8017
      @joshuamills8017 10 месяцев назад +14

      Also in Yuto's first run, during the playback, he clearly missed one truck on his nollie 180 to switch 50 50. In my opinion, he wasn't deserving of a 9. Maybe 8.9 but not 9.

    • @TheFarthan
      @TheFarthan 10 месяцев назад +3

      Meh.. I'm sort of glad Kelvin bombed the rest of the final anyways, if I'm being perfectly honest lol. I was pretty salty when he won in Chicago earlier this year, instead of Ryan Decenzo. Ryan was pretty much set to win, until Kelvin just _had_ to land that final trick. I mean, it was nothing short of amazing to see Ryan skate so well in Chicago, at the age of 36 or 37-however old he was at the time. The guy has been skating in these competitions for over a decade, and he's still never won. He's been making a killer comeback though, and absolutely deserves to win. The competition in Chicago should have been his time to shine. Kelvin has already won a final before. I feel like if I had been in Kelvin's shoes, I would have purposely thrown my last trick, so that Ryan could finally have his win. (I would have kept it a secret, of course.) Anyway, whatever. Maybe that's just me.

    They need to stop penalizing one failed trick so heavily in a really good run. Daiki put down 2-4 9 club tricks in first run. Should have gotten at least a 9 for that overall.

    • @elimcfly350
      @elimcfly350 10 месяцев назад +7

      Yeah, the penalty for a fall is way too harsh. If the run would have been an easy 9, I feel like a fall should only take about half a point. Knocking an otherwise 9 run down to a 6 or 7 isn't fair.

    • @ZeJester

      Discordo porque cada um tem seu role, e em campeonato manda o que tem na base (o Nyjah há muitos anos ganhava só jogando as mesmas coisas, e hoje em dia ele mudou as principais manobras e são as mesmas. Então isso meio que é um ciclo, pois tem que mandar o que sabe no pé). E eu concordo porque é chato ver sempre as mesmas manobras em todo SL. Mas não reclamo disso porque não ando nem 1% do que esses caras andam. Kkkk

    They need to judge these better. Yuto does 4 tricks in his run, to others that do like 8-10 tricks. It’s kind of annoying. Granted yuto is insane but I just don’t get that. There should be a minimal amount of tricks you need to do per run. 6 tricks or something, minimal.
    Or just get rid of the run section, because it really doesn’t matter. People wanna see best tricks.
    I remember the first couple seasons of street league, they had like 3 events, or something and I thought the layout was better back then to be honest.
