@@notnathan1121 Not sure about that. If you look closely in 0.25 speed it’s the exact same trick as before but Luan just adds a bs revert. I’d like to call it an Anti Big Heel too but he just powerslides instead of really doing the full trick. I see where you’re coming from tho

S Saxena i think there is a certain catalog they have in mind in relation to what round it is. Higher rounds they just start with pretty techy tricks and just run variations from there. I wonder what the real answer is as well too though

it was a struggle fast fowarding past the rules while trying not to look at the time.
Well.. imagine seen it live and waiting for the competition.... the hosts were cringy and the audience didn't even cared about them. When they tried to cheer up the audience the reactions were like "meh...we just want to see people skating"
It’s about time luan won one of these things, I think we all were waiting for it. Huge Joslin fan and would’ve loved to see someone like Joslin (not considered tech at all) go back to back, but I can’t help but feel satisfied that luan has the ultimate flat ground trophy. Has been deserved for at least half a decade now.

Yeah, he got springs in his heels and he always catches the board at the apex of its lift, if that makes sense? One of the best styles out there. I love Jos too though, he's immense. Crazy how differentt the trick can look, depending on the style of the skater.

If he landed that half flip late flip, the scales would've been tipped a bit. COULD'VE doesn't work right, but Joslin stood a chance to have snatched the victory.
I've watched Chris for awhile all due to a short part of his in a video where he's just SO relentless and stubborn when he doesn't land what he's going for and will keep going for it until he sinks it perfectly. That type of tenacity is such a driving force behind his technique and dedication to skating. He's one of my all time favs.

When Berra called Joslin on that obvious defense make, I was like....but then he called Luan on a defense make so all good. Even steven. If Joslin made the heel/back foot late flip, things would have been different, but it's so cool he DID make it, just on the wrong trick. Not sure how that happened exactly.

Acho que o Luan é o skatista mais completo que tem, bicho anda muito em solo, rampa, borda, e corrimão (no qual é difícil achar filmagem, mas tem em vídeos antigos dele e no canal sobreskate)

I know next to nothing about skating, but it's always so cool to see competitions like this. What little I've seen of top tier skating has always been a prime example of sportsmanship and competing in good spirits. Just such a cool community. Some day...
