  • Just a little behind the scenes with Chris Joslin, one of the best dudes on the board.
    All of his No Hope Part was filmed while he was filming for the Plan B video and even before that.
    Glad I was able film these gnarly tricks.
    Peep the full video if you have not seen it yet.
    Watch, Skate, and Repeat.

    More impressed with his falling techniques than him landing the trick. Every possible way to fall and he knows how to roll out of it

    • @joey.h14
      @joey.h14 4 года назад +296

      Anyone reading this; falling correctly is not something you just read about and know how to do. It probably took years and years of practice for him to know how to fall, and, or, kick the board out from under him. Another thing is, if you just watch how other people fall, and look at how they do it from how they lead their fall, to how they flow through it, you can learn a lot. I hope all of you fellow skaters pick up on how to fall, and avoid injury because I’ve been there, and it sucks. Good luck, wear a helmet if you think you should, and have fun.

      slumbps so true, just like in many martial arts, learning how to fall or roll out of a technique applied to you is just as important as the technique itself. It allows you to practice safely and and protect your body from injury.

But the key is balls of steel no fear and commitment. Skateboarding is constant progression there is no end to it all.the joy of learning something new mastering it then styling it out . It's unique. But also remember cruising ripping the place up having fun just doing the basics is just as important. Don't get caught up with can and cants. Love your board love yourself and always have fun and skateboarding will bring you many years of sheer enjoyment. Skate or die

      A lot of kids get blinded by the occasional $10,000 competition 1st prizes. -Money which is still not enough to live on for the year.

      Always that one Chad trying to make something that has nothing to do with him all about him.
      Nobody gives af what you did today or 20 yrs ago, nobody cares you used to skate around when you were younger.
      You and you life have quite literally nothing to do with this video.

    how the fuck do you hard flip a gap like that? He almost pitches his head over his board every time he throws his board down for that trick. Cris Joslin is not from this planet

    landing a trick first time is pretty much unheard of, props to this skater for staying focused and enduring all that pain for our enjoyment

    Nice editing concept showing all the failed attempts before every single trick.

    That was beautiful to watch. I think anyone with ambitions to be a professional in any sport should watch this and actually take the right lessons from it. This is what it takes to be at the highest level of something. Pain, work, dedication, obsession, courage, commitment. I have trouble committing to dinner plans, meanwhile Chris Joslin is committing to a trick that could kill him if he even once can't hold his neck rigid, can't keep his head off the ground, can't stop an ankle roll, and he does this multiple times a day, all year long. That is a professional, and my respect is absolute.
