Looks like a alternative to the car wash spot that got shut down. Not quite as narley but similar setup.
Most people do not understand the "wear and tear" skating at this level puts on your body. To be this gnarly this late in Ryans career is insane!
Ryan’s also had more severe injuries than most any street skater I’ve known of. Roughly the past 10 years he was out for about 6-7 of those years. He’s broken his elbow so many times he’s forgotten. I think was a severe knee injury that put him out the longest (it was some gnarly set for ETN I think and his leg looked like it was torn off). Guy has balls from the gnarly stuff he’s landed in the past and for pushing out another part well past his prime!

I'm 30 and I still skate but early 30s and still skating is totally different from early 30s and taking crazy impact...and then still skating!

Seeing Sheckler get back to his roots like this is so unreal. Some people may not understand the significance of this, but to see this man get back at it like he never even missed a beat is so inspiring! Dudes pushing so hard on the gnarliest spots. This man's redemption arc is amazing. He deserves all the respect and recognition he receives after everything he's been through. To put out this level of part after all of his injuries, struggles with addiction and getting past pretty much sabotaging his own career with MTV... is massive. God bless you Ryan 🙏

This part brought me to tears. Been a fan of shecks since I was 13 years old. No matter what the ups and downs, Ryan will forever be the goat.
The purity in this part tells the story. The trick selection. The music. Crusty brutal spots. This why we now and forever love this man. Lifer by definition

Sheckler's always fascinated me as a skateboarder. He doesn't do super technical tricks or gigantic gaps (nowadays), but he's always had a place in the upper echelon of skateboarders. It's a unique blend of park and street, paired with brilliant location scouting, that set him apart. One of the few guys that can make a backside boardslide look cool.
Not gigantic heights but definitely gigantic lengths. He skates so fast and clean

I love when someone starts to get older and falls off for a while, and then comes back swinging in their 30’s with the best part of their career. This dude did not have to go this hard, that frontside flip was jacked! I think he’s #1 for SOTY so far this year too. The best part is he already has everything, didn’t have to prove himself at all. Did it all for the love. Should’ve had a double pits to chestie in there though smh

I would agree if he had a bigger bag if tricks. He goes big but I don't know that he did one sw or nollie trick in this entire part... too many skaters are more talented at this point. But everybody likes different stuff so my opinion is only that, an opinion.

Facts. I'm 34 and still do drops, parks, stairs, etc. Still got homies who I grew up with that still shred tough. It's only when yourself get out of shape, and lose your youthfulness too early. Only exception is a major injury that stops younfrom skating.

This shit was so inspiring, seeing all the injuries he’s dealt with and all the injuries I’ve suffered from skateboarding. This has really given me so much motivation and inspiration to get skateboarding again on a daily basis.

After a 20 year hiatus from skating, now that I’m 34, the falls are the biggest thing. I just don’t recover like I used too. So the fact he’s doing this still after all his brutal falls is nothing but inspiration to me

That last tail drop would probably take about 100 tries and 10 years cuz I'd get messed up on every try.

This man's the reason I'm good a skating. I made so many sponsor me videos and handed them out to every skate shop in my town and surrounding towns. Nothing ever came of it. I'm 32 and still shredding 🤙
So many years on a board and yet he seems getting as much fun as when he was a child. The passion remains noticeable and this is amazing to watch. Such a love for skateboarding, combined with the incredible skill he stacked, is really harrowing. One of the greatest for sure !

This dude is a freak of nature. To be in your mid 30s and still skating on this level, going big is incredible. Skateboarding is so hard on your body I’m sure he’s so sore every day and to still be pushing it this hard 21 years later is just mind blowing 🤯 Dude went pro in 2003 mind you. He was 13 and was beating grown ass men in professional competition. Ryan is definitely is definitely one of the top 10 street skaters of all time.
Ryan’s taken a lot of flack in the past for various things, but no one can deny his love for skateboarding. The dudes a legend in my eyes! Great part and that ender was insane.

Saw this and the DOC at the LA Premiere and was truly blown away. Ryan doesn't have to film another part to maintain the legend status but he did and with the spirit of someone filming his first part. The documentary was great and offered some great insights into his process. Much respect across the board!
